Pizza was wonderful!! Would defiantly come back! Lunch time might have not been the best time to come as school kids were there. The language was awful but the pizza was worth it.

We have been coming here for 30 years. Due to convenience. Angelo's is super popular, especially with the high school kids over lunch hour. You can order whole pizzas, or pizzas by the slice, or subs. All reasonably priced. It's not quite as good as I remember from 39 years ago, but still good crust, sauce and fresh toppings. Friendly service. Lots of pizza options nearby, but would keep Angelo's in rotation.

My fav hole in the wall type of place!!! $6 for a cheese burger and a slice of cheese pizza! what a pleasant surprise! they grill the burger right in front of you and you can choose what topping to add to the grilled buns, like lettuce, pepper, mayo, tomato, pickles, and ketchups! I felt pretty satisfied after finishing the $3.5 cheese burger! The crust of their pizza is really chewy! highly recommend! you can choose to add toppings with additional charges! The owner is super friendly! Def a serendipity of my day! need to come back to try their famous cheese fries!

Used to buy sandwiches from this place but not hygiene at all from this employee ,not enough all the business working hard to survive on the middle of these pandemic and people like that doesn't care about costumer safety..it's a shame .Where are you gloves sir ?

ANGELO'S PIZZA IS THE BEST PIZZA IN BOSTON!!! It's crisp, has a thick crust, great toppings and AMAZING SERVICE. It's my favorite pizza and my favorite pizza makers. Luis is so funny and so nice, and after just a few times, we're already best friends. I genuinely love this place so much. Best pizza ever. I always get the peppers and onions slice. It takes like 2 minutes. And it's SO GOOD. Not too much oil. It's perfect. Please go here!!!!

A little bit removed from Harvard Square, Angelo's holds its own among the best restaurants in the neighborhood by appealing to it's demographic, high school kids. From the pizza to the burgers and fries this is the place CRLS students go to chill and get a bite to eat. Conveniently located across the street from the school and the library it's one of those hidden gems of the community that's all locals and zero tourists. That being said this place far from fancy. And I think their chairs might have been "borrowed" from the high school across the street. But you can't beat the food. Lou makes a great pizza. I think they might have snuck in some wheat dough. But most pizza bought here comes piled with toppings, like bacon. And don't be fooled by the salad. Lou told me the kids who get the salad all they really want it for is the feta cheese. Seriously, he's a funny guy to chat with while waiting for your food. Toppings are cheap and plenty. Actually all the food here is inexpensive. And I love a good deal just as much as a good meal.

The pizza was tasteless. The dough tastes like cardboard and the toppings lacked flavor.

We ordered online from their actual website, and the online menu was very clearly labeled and was SO thorough in explanations and checkmark boxes for variations and letting the place know about allergies and such. That is rare to find, and people with allergies always have to worry about that kind of thing, it's a whole to-do. IYKYK. If you have celiac, it may not be a great option as they have cross contamination for their pizzas. Anyways, now the grand reveal: I got a gluten free and dairy free pizza with various toppings and it was GREAT!! It's rare to find a pizza place that can fill the place of regular pizza when you have gluten & dairy allergies, but this comes close! I'm very happy with what I ordered. It is pricey, and their extras are pricey to add on. However, I don't really care as it is rare to be able to enjoy pizza for me. They also provide little gf/df marshmallow treats as a little dessert, for free. That was a nice surprise. Companies don't do stuff like this, so it goes a long way in my book! Overall, great allergy friendly pizza place, and also for regular folks who want a regular pizza. Everyone will be happy.

The great was great, and the vegan cheese was some of the better I've had on pizza. The meatballs didn't really taste like meatballs, but they were yummy. We enjoyed both pizzas, but didn't feel blown away. The vegan potato bombs were yummy, though--delicious sauce. Overall, a good experience!

I held this year's birthday dinner here. I had a good impression of Coda Restaurant Group before,…read moreand this place did not disappoint. Prosciutto: The best dish of the meal. The prosciutto slices were perfectly salty, rich in fat, and smooth, wrapped around the refreshing sweetness of kumquats, the delicate creaminess of stracciatella cheese, the crunch and nutty aroma of pistachios, and topped with a smoky touch of sumac powder. It had a rich and distinct flavor profile while offering a gentle and comfortable taste. Spaghetti: The refreshing lemon and basil paired with the umami crab meat is a classic combination. Chili oil added a touch of spice and aroma, while pea tendrils provided a light herbal fragrance. The sauce was emulsified very smoothly, making it both rich and palatable, although the spaghetti itself didn't leave a particularly strong impression. Half Chicken Milanese: A large portion, perfect as a main course to share. The chicken cutlet was thick, fried to a fragrant perfection, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Wrapped in lettuce and eaten with mayonnaise, it brought back memories of the fast food stalls outside my school when I was a child. This was my first time trying rhubarb stems. The tangy and refreshing taste cut through the richness, and the texture was like softer celery and firmer green bell peppers - quite interesting. Duck Bacon Pizza: The most highly rated pizza online, and it was truly delicious! The rich, savory flavor of the duck bacon, the succulent richness of the shimeji mushrooms, and the mellow sweetness of the caramelized onions, combined with the creamy cheese base, made it a calorie bomb, but I still felt it was the right choice. Unfortunately, the crust was a bit hard, making it difficult to cut with a knife. Cotechino Pizza: This was my first time trying a pizza with sweet potatoes, and I couldn't help but admire their innovation. The colors were vibrant, and the sweetness of the sweet potatoes paired with the smoky aroma of Cotechino sausage bits created a full yet harmonious flavor, evoking the feeling of being in the southern Italian countryside in early autumn, basking in the bright sunshine and the satisfaction of a bountiful harvest. The restaurant offered menus printed with "Happy Birthday," and the waiters provided professional cake-cutting service. Overall, a very comfortable experience.

The dining room is fairly small with some bar seating available as well. It was clean and bright. It took about 7 mins for the server to come over and she lead with "are you ready to order?" I guess simple pleasantries are useless anyway. We knew our drinks and appetizers order but not what we wanted for pizza yet so we ordered those and told her we'd order pizzas when the apps and drinks came. She came back about 3 minutes later and asked if we were ready to order yet. Feeling pressured, we ordered thinking that perhaps they close soon (not the case). The bartender delivered our drinks a few minutes later and about 5 mins after that both the appetizers and pizza arrived at the same time. Besides the fact that our table wasn't large enough to accommodate all that food and drink, it was never our intention to eat our appetizers with our meal. The good news is that the food was hot, fresh and tasty. The potato bombs were excellent. Crispy home fry like potatoes and the peppers had a nice heat. I would love to try the popper version next time. The pizzas were good too, but be prepared for floppy and slightly under done base crust but a perfectly charred edge crust. I find many wood fired pizza to come this way but I did see other reviews mention this as a negative. The bill comes in a small ball jar with a delicious rice crispy treat. While the jar worked it must have made it hard to see that I dropped my credit card in it, so after the waitress walked by a few times I removed the card and made it visible on the table. When the tab came to sign I was not given a pen. I should have walked out and just let them charge me for just the tab but I cannot stiff waitstaff, even when it's poor service. My only hope is that it was the waitress's first day and she somehow figures out the typical cadence and procedure involved in waiting tables. Food was a solid 4 but service was a 2 so I landed on a 3. I would definitely go back hoping for a better server.
