We were celebrating a couple of birthdays, and the restaurant kindly brought us two complimentary appetizers, charred carrots and a gem lettuce salad. We appreciated the gesture, and both were tasty. Unfortunately, the charred carrots were also quite salty. All four of our entrees tasted good, but the portion sizes ranged from small to extremely small. My blackened salmon was approximately 1¼ inches wide and 3 1/2 inches long. I initially thought part of my entree had been left off the plate but I eventually found the quinoa underneath the salmon--but there was literally less than a tablespoon of it. The other three entrees had somewhat better portions, but all three were also noticeably oversalted. My wife, who adds salt to just about everything, even commented that her dish was too salty, which says something. Our bill was approximately $300 for the four of us before tax and tip. At that price point, I expect significantly better execution, more reasonable portions, and better value. Overall, the service was good, the atmosphere was attractive, and we appreciated the complimentary birthday appetizers. Unfortunately, the food was simply too salty and the portions were far too small for the price.
