We love this gem! We went on a Saturday just before 6pm and there was virtually no line. We ordered 4 asada and 4 pastor tacos, as well as a burrito with no rice with both asada and pastor. The tacos and burrito were stuffed with meat. The limes and salsa come in the bag, along with fresh radishes and pickled onions. There's a serve yourself platter of grilled onions and peppers, which were also delicious. The food was overall delicious, but both my partner and I had sour stomachs, my guess is from the grilled vegetables that were left on the side of the truck. As with all successful businesses that branch out into new locations, the new ones are never as good as the originals. I am happy to see Angel's doing well and making money. They make great food and work hard - they deserve the success. Like many other yelpers, and loyal customers feel, the special salsa (if you will) just doesn't taste or feel the same. Regardless, they make amazing and delicious tacos, tortas, burritos and loaded baked potatoes. If you're lucky enough to live or drive near one of their locations, I highly advise you stop by and try the al pastor. Start with the tacos and work your way up to the baked potato. The meat is tender, slightly charred from the flames and super flavorful. You will not be disappointed. The aguas frescas are bomb too. My favorite is the lemonade which has some cucumber in it. When Angel's was a taco stand, it was the ultimate experience to watch the whole team in action. The flaming al pastor spinning on the trompo, the tíos chopping up carne, and the tías flipping tortillas, it was all part of the magic. And the tacos, fresh off the grill and handed straight to you, were absolutely amazing. It was a 10/10 experience and tacos. Now that I've tried the taco truck twice, it's just not the same. The food is served in foam to-go plates, and the tacos don't have as much meat as they used to. I really miss the taco stand version, but I'll still stop by if I'm in the area. I highly recommend their baked potato with al pastor, it's huge! (That's what she said.) The potato is soft, loaded with melty, cheesy goodness, and delicious. Tried these out because of the good reviews, the truth is they're not terrible, but they scoop cold guacamole onto the taco and it ruins the tacos now they're cold while I'm eating them right at the food truck, also the cabeza is in chunks not shredded and they put guacamole on the cabeza tacos which is a first for me. read more

We went on a Friday night and it seemed pretty packed so we thought man they must be heatttt and went to try some. We ordered Al Pastor (Adobada), Asada and i think cabeza. My biggest complaint is the wait time. 30 minutes for like 6 tacos? We told the cashier that we wanted a refund because they werent even CLOSE to starting our order after 30 minutes (they were 3 orders before ours that they havent even called) and after telling us she couldn't refund us, she offered for them to be ready in a few minutes. A taco stand that starting popping up by my house more and more often and now it seems to be one of their permanent locations. We tried them one night seeing how the lines were super long and boy are they good!! They are also very affordable! Regular tacos are $2.50, cheese tacos $3.50 with your choices of meats. They also have mulitas, quesadillas, burritos, tortas, and vampiros. They also have with they call the Angels potatoe which is basically a loaded potato that comes with tortillas and oh man, that is one of my favorite dishes there. They have a good variety of meats, nothing too crazy, mostly the basics. The meats are steak, chicken, chorizo, al pastor, and cabeza. I have tried the steak, chicken, and al pastor. The steak and al pastor are my favorites. The hubby loves the al pastor. In fact, it's one of the best al pastors I have ever tried. The chicken is also good, very tender! I didn't know they had a pretty big Instagram following until I looked them up, over 300k followers. If you follow them, they will post other locations where they typically pop up. I think their general off day is Mondays. They pop up most nights and they are usually open from around 4pm-12am. They have definitely become our go-to place for tacos!! They also make their own fresh tortillas!!! You see them making it!! They take cash and card. We'll be coming back here again and again because the food is just so cheap and very good! Tacos come loaded with onions, cilantro, guacamole, and your choices of salsa. They also have limes, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, pickeled onions, cucumbers as sides. They also serve some very good horchata and some agua freshcas. We get our taco fix here at least once every 2 weeks, sometimes every week! Come get some cheap street tacos!! Almost 50 bucks for 11 tacos is crazy. The pastor was mid / decent at most. Hand made tortillas? YEA , yet colder than a dog's nose. The asada man .. This used to be a delicious taco stand with actual asada al carbon that smelled delicious. They also used to have the tortillas made in front of you by hand. Don't see that anymore but they might make them inside the truck, idk. The portion is generous and its help yourself to rábanos and pepinos. It's not cheap but the large portion and large tacos do justice to the cost. The bad thing is that these guys don't remove the large pieces of fat from any of the meats. They serve it how it comes into the taco causing me to dig into my mouth and removing these large chunks of fat (hate that). If you like the fat then score for you. Lastly now that it's a taco truck the food doesn't taste freshly made like it did before. It tastes like reheated meats (Recalentado). The staff is nice and helpful except when the cashier does math in their head and doesn't give me all my change back. So check your change, Almost lost $10.
