    Organic green tea & adémame

Driving up & down Edison Ave. Chino, CA. and never noticed this cute little cozy restaurant serving Japanese style dishes & Ramen soups. We all ordered Shoyu Ramen Soup, and it was delicious even though it was not heavenly flavored, but that tasty spicy table hot sauce filled in for a complete satisfactory lunch break. Service was excellent & tipping is included with every order. I don't think I'll ever go back, since we love socializing with our friends & family and this tiny restaurant isn't built for that (my experience) hush, hush & don't be you. Parking is reduced on weekends but seems to always accommodate.

HiroNori located in Chino on Edison was my first time coming in here for lunch. I came in and there were a few empty tables but I was told that there was another party in front and needed to wait a little bit. We waited for a few minutes and then got seated. Looked over the menu and also heard the nice server recommend what was tasty and we ordered some chicken karage. That was pretty delicious. On to the ramen I decided to get the vegan ramen and the flavor just wasn't hitting right. Even with the spice I felt like it was lacking something. I really wish they had some green onions in it already but they don't and adding them was outrageous for $2.30. But they do serve other ramen like the regular pork tonkotsu.

I had such a great experience at HiroNori Craft Ramen Everything we tried was full of flavor and honestly so satisfying. Tonkotsu Ramen: The broth was incredibly flavorful and rich. With all the ingredients together, every bite was comforting and delicious. Vegan Ramen: This one surprised me! The tofu and broccoli paired so well with the corn, and the flavors were amazing. I almost didn't even notice I wasn't eating meat. Spicy Cold Dipping Noodles: This was a totally new experience for me since I've never tried cold dipping noodles before. It was fun and interactive because you can dip the hot noodles into the cold broth or pour the broth over the noodles. I recommend dipping the noodles--it makes the experience even better. The broth had so much flavor and paired perfectly with the eggs and pork belly. Cucumber Salad: Simple but so refreshing. The perfect light appetizer. Pork Buns: The buns were super soft and the pork belly was tender and flavorful with a smoky taste and a hint of barbecue. So good! Drinks: Yuzunade Cucumber Mint: Very refreshing and light. Piña Colada: Also super refreshing and delicious. Overall, everything was flavorful, fresh, and really enjoyable. Definitely a spot I'd recommend if you're craving ramen in the Chino area!

Shoyu ramen and yuzu mint lemonade

Came here based on a recommendation. The restaurant is kind of hidden in the corner of the shopping center with one of the most annoying parking lots (it's one way and forces you out to the street if you dont find a spot). The inside is small, maybe 10 tables at most. The earthy tones create a calm, casual atmosphere. I came in around 3:30 so there was no wait, but I can see this place having a wait time for dinner. The menu states that there is a 17.4% service charge that you can opt out of. When paying, the server asks you if youre ok with the charge. I did ask and she explained that the charge is not a tip. You can just do a tip or both if you want. Food time: Tried the yuzu mint lemonade and it was refreshing; a bit tart with a mint aftertaste. I got the the shoyu ramen and my partner got the Tonkotsu. Tonkotsu is different than others I've had before. It was kind of creamy. The shoyu was so much better imo. It was the salt bomb I needed. You can choose between thin or thick noodles. I didn't specify which so I ended up with the thick noodles which I'm glad cus they had nice bite. The pork chashu was cooked crispy, which added a nice texture as well and the egg was perfectly soft boiled. I added their house spicy sauce which is a nice garlic spice combo. Again, I can see this ramen being too salty for some people, but I really enjoyed. To end I also asked for their yuzu cheesecake to go. It's only 4 dollars but it is small so I wouldn't share lol. It was good. Essentially it's a citrus cheesecake with a more bready texture, if that makes sense.

Nice quaint spot. Their Tonkotsu is my fav! So creamy and savory. The soft boiled egg has a sweet note to it balancing the savory saltiness of the broth. The pork pieces are so soft. One of the best Tonkotsus around!!i also love their spicy tuna over crispy rice. Generous pieces and they do their spicy tuna right!! Service is great, it's super small so they I guess they have no choice to be attentive. Lol. The place is also a tad bit on the pricey side. Like I said, this place is super small, seating is limited, so get there early to put yourself on the wait list.

Boy was I disappointed with the dining experience here. I was excited to try because it was on the Michelin guide. The ramen itself was decent but the service was AWFUL. I first checked in and put my name down on a tablet. The wait wasn't too long. When I got seated, the table was not set. Had to ask for chopsticks and napkin after ordering. When we were ordering, the server neglected to ask my partner for the thickness of the noodles. She just assumed that he wanted thick so he got thick noodles. I am sure she had to input the option upon putting in the order. I don't understand why she did not come back to ask for his preference. When I requested my noodles to be cooked to Al dente or kata, she was confused. I feel like working as a server at a ramen shop should know what that means. Overall it was a very mid experience. The ramen broth was good- more like shoyu tonkotsu than pure tonkotsu. The ajitama was cooked to perfection. The food tasted decent but with that kind of service, it made me not want to come back.

This place is smaller than I expected but very cute inside. Service was friendly and quick. The food is delicious especially their ramen. It's probably the best you can find in the IE. Here's what we ordered: + Tonkotsu Ramen - The broth was rich and full bodied. Noodles were cooked perfectly. The pork chashu was tender and had a smoky flavor. + Pork Buns - The pork belly was melt in your mouth tender. I will say the buns were a tiny bit soggy and kept sticking to my fingers. + Crispy Rice w/ Spicy Tuna - Great appetizer. The spicy tuna had a kick but wasn't overly spicy.

I've heard a LOT about this ramen joint and the quality is that of a Michelin star restaurant. I can see the potential, but I definitely think that there might be some items I need to revisit and try for the future. The eel buns were good at a 3.8/5, but I just think there was a lack of sauce/ it was a bit dry and that missed the sweet spot as an appetizer. The tonkotsu ramen was very rich and heavy. I think that it is a good few bites, but I can't see myself finishing this bowl at all. 4/5 The shoyu was my definitive favorite since it was a perfect balance of flavor, texture, saltiness, and the bowl itself was a great meal 5/5 The service was good, typical to that of a ramen joint. The interior is nice, but pretty small, so make sure to go on off hours if you're looking to be seated asap.

Pork tonkatsu with broccolini (additional charge)

Came on a Sunday around 3 PM for a casual double date. AMBIANCE Small space but beautifully designed--very Japandi-inspired and minimalist. FOOD Spicy Cold Dipping Noodles: A great choice for a hot day when regular tonkotsu ramen feels too heavy. The spicy sauce was delicious and refreshing, especially with the touch of lemon. They also offer extra garlic (not sure if there's a charge), which was a nice addition. The pork was super tender. Pork Tonkotsu Ramen with Broccolini (additional add on charge)i: The broccolini might sound unusual, but it actually works--it soaks up the broth nicely, adds a charred flavor, and gives a satisfying crunch. Overall, a solid bowl. I personally find tonkotsu ramen a bit heavy, so I'd like to try their shoyu ramen next time. SERVICE This is where the experience fell short. Even though the shop wasn't full, our server repeatedly forgot parts of our order, water, and sides--it took one or two reminders each time. I'm guessing they were new, but it definitely dampened the experience. Overall: I'd come back, but probably during off-hours. The space is small and seems like it would fill up quickly--and I'm not sure it's worth a long wait.

Plenty of parking and the interior was very nice. Service was quick and helpful. Went on a weekday around opening so it wasn't busy. Food was excellent! Bao buns were a favorite. The noodles were nice and chewy. Broth was all very flavorful. The cubes salad was a nice palate cleaner. Definitely would come again!

Delicious! Their pork buns are magnificent and ramen is flavorful and creamy. I have been dreaming of the pork buns since I had them last. Such a great local gem. Staff is sweet and the restaurant is small but cozy.

I've been looking for a great ramen spot in the IE, and this place was perfect. The atmosphere is quaint, and I would definitely recommend coming a little early for dinner to miss the rush--it can get packed pretty quickly. My sister and I ordered as much as our stomachs could handle, including the ramen combo, which came with a green salad and a mini bowl. My sister and I ordered as much as our stomachs could handle, including the ramen combo, which came with a green salad and a mini bowl. The ramen was super creamy and came with a side of garlic and additional chili paste so that you can spice it up to your desire. It's definitely quite a bit of food, so I think I would skip the combo next time and just leave my stomach open for the ramen. I also loved their karaage chicken and could have been satisfied with just that as well. Moist, crispy, and flavorful. Shoutout to the friendly staff, the fruit-infused water, and most importantly, THE FOOD.

We came in for an earlier dinner time, but the service was still very good. Didn't catch the young man's name who served us, but he provided good table service and answered questions about their menu. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen bowl with chicken and it was pretty good. Came with four pieces of chicken strips, sliced bamboo, half an egg, green onion, and noodles. The broth was pretty yummy and hit the spot. Their ramen bowls are about $17 each, or if you want their combo, it can be with almost any choice ramen with an appetizer. Lots of parking here and a good meal. Can't really beat that.

We came for lunch to try the new $15 lunch promotion, and the restaurant was far from busy. Despite that, the food came out at a snail's pace. Even identical appetizers arrived at different times, and our ramen bowls were brought out inconsistently, so our group wasn't able to eat together. There didn't seem to be much coordination between the kitchen and the servers. One moment that really stood out was when a server came out carrying my partner's bowl of ramen but stopped to refill another table's water glasses and pick up a handheld checkout device from an already-vacant table before finally bringing the hot ramen over. It was odd to see hot food delayed for tasks that didn't seem as urgent as delivering a bowl of hot food to a waiting party. We also noticed several empty tables that hadn't been cleared or reset, despite the restaurant being relatively quiet. The food itself was decent for the price, but the long wait made the experience frustrating. If you're just looking for a good value, I'd recommend ordering takeout instead. If you're looking for a more authentic ramen experience, HiroNori down the street is a better choice. There was also a screaming child in the dining room for much of our visit. While that's obviously not the restaurant's fault, it unfortunately didn't help the overall dining experience.
