I called Tuesday 06/23 morning to schedule a hair color and cut appointment for Friday 06/26 I spoke to Angel over the phone and text message. We talked about the inspo hair I wanted which is early 2000s Jessica alba highlights and honey brown color. Agreed on what steps will be taken and pricing estimate. She set me up with her assistant Fereshteh Mohammadi. When I got there the assistant was trying to understand what I want to do with my hair, when all of this should've been communicated before my appointment time. So then she parted my hair waited for Angel to arrive to ask about my hair process. It took Fereshteh over 5 hours to do my hair. I was there from 10:40am-4:30pm just so my hair come out looking like completely crap. before the color and haircut I had very long beautiful hair. she messed up my hair color I asked for, and my haircut. I will never step foot back into this salon. read more

TIP: schedule an appointment during non busy hours (weekdays) and make sure you're not on a time crunch. I called for an appointment and Angel was able to get me in within those next couple days. I was told to come in at 2:15, but I wasn't serviced until 2:30. One of her assistants washed my hair and had me wait until she finished a hairstyling client. I didn't have my haircut started by her until around 3. I asked for a trim, but partly my fault for not being clear enough. She cut a little too short, but at that point, there was nothing I could do to fix that since she had already cut the same length all around. At no fault of her own, a client was bargaining with her about a discount, so she was distracted while scissors in hand. I felt super uneasy through half of the cut since it seemed like everyone needed her in the salon. It didn't feel like she paid full attention to my hair, and it was wayyy shorter than I wanted. When I looked at my hair after I paid, I noticed a big chunk of my longer bangs weren't blended. I walked back in and asked if she could blend more. She did without question which was nice, but I left the salon feeling really upset with the length. She was really behind schedule, so I think she just wanted to get my cut done. It's not a bad haircut, she has good technique and everything. I just think the circumstances of my experience made me anxious and upset with my cut. If you come at a low traffic hour, I think it would be better. Angel was super nice, but I won't be coming back here due to the circumstances. Price was good, but experience wasn't great. read more

This place deserves a 5 star review! I have tried a few salons in the Natomas area where I live, but either they didn't do my hair to my liking, were too expensive or the place wasn't clean. Angels is completely different. They are clean, affordable, and friendly. As Goldilocks would say "They Are Just Right?" Everyone is so nice here and I felt welcome the minute I walked in. Even my husband loved my new haircut. I went in the following week for a color; and once again, Angel did an amazing job. I am very satisfied with my new look and the services as well. Nargiza was able to get my blind mother in for a root touch up. I had given her delayed notice of when I wanted to bring her which was early in the morning. Nargiza was able to squeeze her in. She was very helpful and directing my blind mother. I waited there too with my mom during the cut and my mom was very pleased the shop had coffee! Let me preface this by saying I never leave reviews! My mom moved up to Sac about two weeks ago and was in need of a color/cut. She's 87 and very shy. So I researched many salons and had decided to drop in at Angels. The reviews were promising. We found the salon not only very clean and tidy but very accommodating to my mom's physical restrictions. The stylist that we had was Angelique and she was friendly, efficient and on her game. She listened not only to my direction but to my mom's as well. I will not return to this establishment! Waited an hour for my appointment to start and the excuse given was that I didn't confirm. I never received and email, text, or a call to confirm. When I showed the owner what I wanted she dismissed it and gave me what she wanted. She was also rude and did not give me the cut I wanted because she kept interrupting when I was describing what I wanted. I showed her a video of the cut and she stated " I'm a hairdresser I don't need to see that". I've been to Ulta salon and got exactly what I wanted with my thin hair and gave me so much volume...which was the same thing I asked her for. If you have thin hair she will not deliver. She said in order to get long layers I have to cut my hair short in which I said no and she still cut it too short! Not a happy customer and the price was not cheap for what I got. I went to Rula B. for a facial because I have mild acne and sensitive skin. I've been to all the places you can think of and nobody did quite an amazing job like her as she was able to use her expertise in calming down by skin, but also giving me the results I wanted. She was caring and very helpful as she gave me meaningful advice about how to take care of my skin during the period of time when I'm not getting a facial.
