First time at this location. Didn't know they open late, niiiiiiiice! And they have live music in the back! Niiiiiiice! The old T-dubs/Speakeasy. Fuuuuunnnn memories here. Went on a Saturday evening at about 10:30pm. After hitting some spots in Mayport. They only had a late night menu, at the time. I forgot to take a pic of the menu (doh!). I got the Samoan (reminded me of the food trucks in Jersey) so yum! Fries on the side with fry-sauce (Peruvian and ranch mixed!) The fries were so crispy and gooooood! Definitely hit the spot! If you need a place to go for some eats, they close at midnight! Great choice! Check it out! Thank yooooooouuu! Had tvs with the games on, too.

I love the area and we were feeling subs today so we tried this out and the inside is bigger than it seems from the outside. Its cozy and comfortable. The staff are friendly and patient when we were trying to figure out what to get. All the subs we got were magnificent. Is it the bread? The ingredients? The love? What is it that makes these subs so addicting?! Lol

I might be the biggest Angie's fan on the planet of people who are not from Jacksonville. Every time I'm in Jax to visit my gfs family, Angie's is a MUST. See my review on the other location to really see me spill my soul out. We went this trip and had another spiritual experience at the OG location, and they had these new shirts that are HARD. I needed one more than I needed oxygen. Much to my chagrin, they didn't have my gfs or my size as they are damn near cleaned out. I can't even be mad though, whoever designed those shirts went CRAZY. We came to this new Atlantic Beach location to see if they had our shirt sizes, and they had one for my gf but not mine. 1/2, we will take it. I've always enjoyed getting a clean assist more than getting a bucket. I will sit here, patiently waiting for a restock on these shirts while I sit and dream of my next Peruvian Sub. I cannot believe it took me nearly 4 years to come to Angie's! Fantastic place and great value. Located about a block away from the beach, Angie's has a cool and fun vibe. But the food is top-notch, and service incredibly friendly. I ordered "My Wife Kicked Me Out," which is turkey, smoked chicken, and provolone melted on a grinder (sub) roll. It was perfectly balanced, with a slightly spicy but very flavorful ranch-like sauce. The roll was perfectly toasty and the cheese melts, all coming together in a perfectly satisfying and flavorful lunch. My server was the awesome Tiffany, a fellow New England refugee and a great source of information on the extensive menu. Sadly, I deleted my superb lunch before I had a chance to photo document it, but this is the best sub shop in Duval. Enjoy, I did!

Angie's is yummy! I got the famous Peruvian sandwich and I loved the flavors. I do wish the sandwiches were a bit bigger though. Overall, good, easy spot to get a quick bite.

Same great quality as the OG spot on Beach Blvd! I had the chance to check out Angie's brand-new Atlantic Beach location this past weekend, and it did not disappoint. Quick heads up: this is Atlantic Beach, so parking can be a tad bit of a scavenger hunt. You might have to circle the block or opt for a paid spot--but on a laid-back Saturday afternoon, it didn't bother me one bit. Walking in, we were greeted with a warm smile and the cozy vibe Angie's is known for. My friend and I split a sandwich and corn nuggets since this was technically our second lunch of the day (no regrets). We grabbed seats in the back near the speakeasy area--bar seats were full, but the back room was perfect. Quiet, quirky, and decked out with vinyl records and charming decor. Such a cool little nook to relax in. Our order never got called out to the back room, so I popped up to the front to check. They had it ready to go, still warm and fresh, and the manager went above and beyond stating she would comp the meal due to the wait--completely unexpected, but super appreciated. That's the kind of customer service that keeps people coming back. Angie's Subs continues to deliver on both quality and hospitality. 100% will be back! Please support Ed and his amazing staff by popping in the new location. He does so much for our community by giving back - Thank you Ed & Angie's subs staff for giving back to the people who need/deserve it the most.

Everything you love about the classic Angie's, with a bar! Picture the vibes of "the hub" in that's 70s show, or the familiarness of "The Angel Grove Surf Spot" in power rangers, add your favorite Angie's sub and an ice cold pint and that's it! Might have had the best Peruvian sub I've ever had between all of the locations. Service was quick and great as usual! Finally a spot you can have a chill beachy beer at a slow pace in Atlantic beach, and even stick around for later hours on weekends. Must try for fans of Angie's!

Tried this sandwich shop for the first time this weekend and I fell in love! The store was super busy each time I went and on Saturday there was a line out of the door. It's a walk up & place your order style restaurant. Even though it was full inside, it was like a controlled chaos. Orders came in & went out with precision. We took our food to go I got the TPC. I absolutely loved my sandwich. The "crunchies" are those twisted bbq chips which added an interesting but amazing change to the sandwich! It was so good that I've been back 3x since just this weekend!

I think this will be a great addition to AB. Of course, parking is the worst, but other than that, I love AB. The menu is similar, if not, identical to the OG Angie's. They have a great bar at this location with taps and bottle/cans and they offer live music. There is some seating out front as well. The bartender was really nice and attentive. I had the Shane and really liked it. I usually get the Peruvian. My husband got the Jack DelRio as always. They have a shuffleboard table and classic Angie's funky decor. I think they will do well in this location for fast bites and a good atmosphere with drinks.

Such a great experience that I presume will be the first of many at this new Angie's location in Atlantic Beach. The location is perfect and right in the heart of AB. The atmosphere is awesome and gives the customer everything we love about Angie's but with a bar that offers an option for a beer and some good conversation with fellow patrons. My husband and I came in for dinner after a beach walk last night and were delighted to see Ed hanging at the bar chatting and visiting with customers. Food and service were great as usual! I was excited to see the "skinny Kim" on the menu as I've had it as a special at Angie's and it's delicious! The decor very intentionally offers several nods to historic AB. Definitely recommend and will be back!

Love this spot right in the heart of Neptune Beach! It's the perfect place to grab a sandwich--and maybe a cold beer if you're in the mood. The staff is always friendly, and the sandwiches are consistently amazing (and huge!). This place is definitely going to be a go-to staple for beach days.

    The Shane

As a AB native, I've never gotten the hype of Angie's and after trying this new location I'm really not getting the hype. The service was good-the girls at the front cash registers were super kinda and helpful. However our sub and wrap took over 15 mins and I saw 4 people who ordered behind us get their subs before us...also my husband wrap came out hot like it should while my sub had clearly been sitting back there for a minute after being toasted and was not hot. I was also actually completely confused by the amount of meat that came on my sub. I ordered the Shane and you can see in this pic it was like one piece of salami and a tiny portion of turkey and no bacon present. We spent $36 on a wrap, a sub, a side of fries and a sweet tea. Super pricey and not even good. Will not be returning. Do not recommend. If you want a good sub you're better off going to sub cultured in AB, sun deli in Jax beach or getting yourself a Publix sub.

First time in, quality of meat is alright and they do lightly roast the bread. If you like sauces on your sandwich it adds flavor

Cedar and Olive was hands down the best meal in Jacksonville…read more We went for lunch and were guided by the warmest, most helpful staff. Let me tell you about the Tawook Sandwich, this thing is something special. The garlic spread they use combined with perfectly seasoned chicken, pickles, and just the right amount of crispy french fry tucked inside makes it one of the best things I have ever eaten. I'm not exaggerating. It's the kind of bite that stops you mid-conversation because you just need a moment to appreciate it. The shish kabob platter was equally incredible, the steak was impossibly tender and packed with deep, rich flavor. The hummus and pita rounded everything out beautifully, simple but executed with real care. What sets Cedar and Olive apart is that you can genuinely taste the passion behind every single dish. This isn't food that was just prepared, it was crafted with intention and creativity. If you're in Jacksonville, please do yourself a favor and go here. Don't think about it, just go. You will not regret it.

Everything on the menu is delicious, the staff is wonderful, and they stand up to bigotry in their own backyard. You can't get much better than that. The only drawback (if you can even consider it one) is just figuring out a good time to arrive to avoid a line. Regardless, even if there is one, the staff moves through it quickly and efficiently. As Sub Cultured is a walk-up window, there's some outside tables to sit, as well as the option of sitting in your car for that car-hop action. Otherwise, you're so close to the beach and parks that taking your sandwiches for a picnic isn't a bad idea either. If you can't find parking immediately at Sub Cultured, there's a little shopping center just next door since there doesn't seem to be much for street parking outside of their handful of spots. All of that said, I'm a transplant to Jacksonville via the Navy since 2004. One of the biggest cravings that I have from back home is a real authentic sausage, pepper, and onion grinder. I can't even begin to describe to y'all how great Sub Cultured's is with that spicy Italian sausage and perfectly cooked peppers and onions. Add a little spicy brown mustard and you're all set.
