I could not believe the tamale only $1.75/each! The owner lady even unwrapped them for my convenience. Thank you! Honestly, the chicken tamales were alright, somewhat savory and fresh! But too little chicken meat! Also the meat was too lean! Some fat and veggies or other ingredients would be much tastier, like those I had in Southern California!

Very disappointed with our experience at Angie's. We had a reservation and still waited 30 minutes to be seated. The bar was too loud to even have a conversation while we waited. Once seated, it took 45 minutes just to get water and place our order. The service only got worse from there. Chowders came out at different times, and our burgers and fries were served cold. What really stood out, in a very bad way, was the owners' behavior. They were clearly focused on a table of their friends who were seated after us. That table got their food before ours and received constant attention, while the rest of the dining room was ignored. I understand a new restaurant has growing pains, but ignoring paying customers while prioritizing friends is not acceptable. To top it off, I asked to take my leftovers home, and they were never returned. By the time the bill finally came (another long wait), the food was gone. Overall, poor service, disorganized, and unprofessional. Hopefully they improve, but this was a frustrating experience. read more
