Attend my brother's birthday dinner in a private room. My husband and I were the first to walk into such a sexy yet swanky place. The outside is truly deceiving! Gerald our server ensured everyone was well taken care of throughout the evening. Our cocktails were good and the food was even better! We enjoyed the shareable plates. Everything was delicious except for the rice balls! Dessert was even more amazing! That cheesecake was heavenly! I definitely will be back!

GO TO TBAR in Roslyn ... For the second time in the last two months, I had an enjoyable experience dining at T Bar in Roslyn. The setting is beautifully designed and all of our meals were delicious. We chatted with the owner who shared that it has been challenging to fill reservations. I have looked at the reviews and the majority are positive. Some reviews have mentioned that the prices are high however compared to the other restaurants here in Roslyn, the prices are mostly in line with a few items being high. The Yelp reviews (3.7) are actually better than Hendricks (3.5) which is packed. There are a few reviews recently saying service was slow, and I have to wonder if there's had to be some cuts given the low volume of reservations. I think the history of the location has caused people not to dine there - admittedly, I was one of those people given the significant overturn that we saw. So before the restaurant has to close its doors, give it a try. * I do not have any affiliation with this restaurant - just a foodie who wants to see businesses succeed here locally as I don't always want to go into NYC.

Hosted a surprise dinner for my husband on Saturday in one of their private rooms, and everything was absolutely amazing! The food, service, and overall ease of the evening made for a wonderful night. I had 12 guests, and everyone was promptly and attentively taken care of. We did shared appetizers and sides, which worked perfectly for a group our size. Gerald, our server, was incredible -- fun, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure the night was special. The food here is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is the perfect mix of sexy and upscale. We'll definitely be back -- this spot is a gem!

Came here for a birthday and we were seated upstairs in the private room. It was a small room but had a long table that seated 13 of us comfortably with a small couch area that gave it a lounge feel. We were able to play our own music as well. Our only complaint was that $20 per cocktail is steep and glasses were not filled up all the way and weak. Food was good. Server was attentive.

The food was ok.... The wings were too tangy. The table bread was good. The service wasn't great. I had to ask for water and the drinks were ok. The ambiance was really nice. This place is proof that not everything that glitters is gold..... Go to Hendricks instead. They have great food, great drinks too and you won't have to ask for water.

Great experience! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate, which obviously isn't the restaurant's fault. What WAS incredibly disappointing was their solution: instead of seating us inside the actual restaurant, they walked us over to a completely separate, off-premise catering room nearby. We were literally the ONLY people sitting in this random room. It felt like we had been removed from the restaurant entirely and stuck in an overflow event space and not exactly the birthday dinner or Felice experience we made a reservation for. What made it worse was the host's attitude. Despite there appearing to be plenty of available tables inside the actual restaurant, she flat-out refused to seat us there and essentially told us we could either sit in the catering room or go somewhere else. No apology, no attempt to accommodate us, and honestly just incredibly dismissive and rude. It was such a bizarre and unwelcoming way to treat first-time guests. The food at least started off strong. The bruschetta and eggplant were both great! For dinner, we had the chicken Milanese and cacio e pepe, and neither was anything special. Our server was nice and the service itself was pretty good so I don't want that to go unnoticed BUT being shoved into an empty catering room and basically told to take it or leave it by the host completely overshadowed the rest of the night. For somewhere we were genuinely excited to try, it was an awful first impression and definitely not the experience we expected.

The seats were comfortable the lighting bright and the piped in music and cacophony of chortling diners a bit overbearing. Couldn't hear or be heard--frankly that was not a big deal since nobody really wants to hear what I have to say anyhow and nobody was revealing the directions to some hidden treasure. Please do not put 10 people at a table for 8...we were packed around the table like sardines. Numerous times when I was cutting my steak someone knocked into me and I easily could have sliced off a finger. The appetizers-- the calamari was absolutely perfect. Cooked perfectly and seasoned just right and also the coating was adherent and did not slough off when I cut the rings in half or champed on them. The friend zucchini is a signature appetizer for them but the garlic sauce steals the show! The meal--I ordered the fillet with an extra robust char and said medium would be fine. It came blue rare. No waiter to be found to cook it more but the bus person obliged. When it came back it was still rate but at that point I didn't have it in me. It came with a beautiful bulb of garlic! I applied the garlic and some butter and blue cheese dressing to the steak and with or without this amalgam it was amazing! Really worth all the logistics and service shortcomings. The creamed spinach was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The coconut cake was dense and rich--in a good way! It was delicious and I highly recommend it. I would have given the restaurant 4+ stars but the noise and poor waitstaff performance knocked it down to 3. Fortunately, we did arrive early, since over the next hour the restaurant filled up, with quite a few people waiting for a table. The restaurant is unpretentious, with seating fairly close together. Now for the food. Before ordering, the owner stopped by, and told us some of the restaurants history, and him being the longtime owner of over 4 decades. He then recited the evenings specials along with interjecting a couple of very funny stories. Each special sounded incredible, and we began our meal with a couple of glasses of a tasty Montepulciano. We shared, one the evening's special appetizers of luscious & creamy zucchini flowers. For entrees my wife ordered one the specials of shrimp stuffed with lump crab meat, in a lobster sauce. She couldn't stop talking about how fantastic it tasted. My only comment was although outstanding, the portion size consisted of 4 shrimp, which was more than enough for my wife, but someone with a bigger appetite may find the order a bit skimpy. For my entree I was drawn to something, which I rarely see on a menu, chicken livers. Although, I thought, for sure, that was what I would choose, the owner in going over the specials cited some of the best menu items, one of which was lasagna. I then told the owner about my dilemma, and I asked him to choose, and the lasagna won out. Although, I missed not having the chicken livers, I consider myself a lasagna aficionado, and, without question, this lasagna moved up to near the top of the list. We ended the meal by having a homemade chocolate layer cake, which was divine. I apologize for not taking any pictures, but I was so excited about the food that my taste buds overrode any thoughts of snapping photos. Finally, definitely run to this restaurant ASAP, but, if possible, I recommend, if possible, to go during the week to avoid the crowds of an obviously very popular restaurant.

It wasn't busy at all when we arrived so we had our choice of seats which was nice. The menu was more extensive than I expected. There's a selection of apps, sandwiches, salads, pizzas, soups, fajitas, and burgers - with several sections having a "make your own" option. I decided to go with a sandwich - specifically, the chicken pesto was speaking to me. This was grilled chicken with mozz, pesto sauce, and roasted red peppers on a roll. The sandwich was good - flavorful with all the components marrying well together. The bread was also soft enough that it broke through my bites; I was concerned being a hard roll that it would be too tough, but the consistency was perfect.
