Unfortunately, I developed a nail fungus on one of my nails, and during subsequent appointments I noticed they continued using the same tools on my infected nail before using them on my healthy nails. They also dipped the same polish brush into bottles after using it on the infected nail. That raised serious concerns about sanitation and infection control, and it made me question whether the salon follows the cleanliness standards it advertises. Another downside is the pricing. While I generally feel the quality of the work justifies the cost, I was surprised to be charged an additional $10 for filing during a fill. Filing is a necessary part of a fill because the nails have grown out, so it feels like a basic component of the service rather than an optional add-on. Charging extra for something so fundamental comes across as excessive. I genuinely like this salon and want to continue supporting them because the artistry is excellent. However, I believe the sanitation practices--especially when dealing with nail infections--need immediate attention, and some of the add-on fees should be reconsidered. These are issues that affect both customer trust and health. I also hope it's the same salon I'm referring to because the photos of the interior do not match the salon on Ramona. Are there two?

I went here after the place I found last month had an hour wait. This was my first time here so I…read moreasked for the prices of a gel manicure, gel pedicure, and callus remover. Out of 3 places that I have been to for the last few months, this place was the most pricey and they charge for everything. A regular pedicure was $27 but if you want gel they charge a total of $15 more while most places charge $10 more. Gel remover is extra even if you're still getting gel, $2 more if you're using a card to pay unless you zelle them. It was $82 for the service (gel pedi $42, gel mani $35, callus remover $5) and I tipped them a total of $16. I had to split among 3 people instead of the usual 2 because the lady working on my manicure couldn't spend 10 more minutes to finish painting my nails. She wanted to get started on another client so she ended up getting less tip. Ultimately I did end up liking the color I got after trying on a handful of colors and I did receive a bottle of water while I was there. The workers here prioritize talking in Vietnamese the whole time versus socializing with their customers. Although I understood what they were saying, I didn't engage too much. Vietnamese-owned salons should realize that workers talking in their native language for an hour straight while 80% of their clients don't speak the same language isn't an ideal environment. The store is called organic but honestly I didn't see exactly what was organic about their products. They use exactly the same nail polish brands as any other shops. I may or may not return.

I love the shape she gives my almond nails, and she always listens to exactly what I want. She never rushes and always goes above and beyond to make sure I'm happy with the final result. Brian does my pedicures, and I always enjoy his massages, they're one of my favorite parts of the appointment! My daughter also comes here and gets her gel builder done by Annie and her pedicures with Kim. She's just as happy with their work as I am, and we both plan on continuing to come here. Another thing I really appreciate is how easy it is to book appointments. They currently don't have online booking through a website, but scheduling through Instagram DM is quick and convenient for me, they respond promptly. One of the biggest reasons I'll keep coming back is that they respect their customers' time. When I have an appointment, I'm seen on time instead of waiting 20-30 minutes like I have at other salons. That makes a huge difference and shows they value their clients. This salon was recommended by a colleague and friend so I wanted to give it a try. I went in for dip mani and gel pedi. My first red flag was the removal of my previous dip/gel. They heavily rely on tools to file down your previous nail job. I am used to having my gel soaked off and prefer this as it is better for my nail health. Using the tool unnecessarily can thin the nail bed. I should have stopped the appointment right then and there but wanted to give them a chance. Next was cuticle removal. Again - no soak! Just pushing them back and clipping. It's been 5 days since my visit and my cuticles look horrible. Then there was the dip application. No builder coat applied and then the sealing of it was not done properly. The top coat is already peeling off and there are hairline cracks in my nail. I don't even know why I paid $108 for a dip mani and gel pedi for an absolutely mediocre job. The pedicure was extremely minimal. The entire service was SO FAST. And the entire time they kept trying to convince me to try builder gel. My friend who recommended this place does get the builder gel, so my guess is going to be that's what they specialize in. They have a 7 day guarantee but I'm afraid to go back to get it fixed because I feel they will just file the nails down again and make them even thinner and I'd rather cut my losses at this point. I just feel I wasted so much money on something not at all worth it. I will stick to my regular salon where they take care of your nail health and the application lasts flawlessly for 3+ weeks! Just updated to one star because a few hours after I posted this, a few MORE nails have started to peel along with cracks forming. Disappointed and frustrated!

We've had two appointments with him and every time my son gets out the chair he walks a little taller. That says a lot about the cut when you feel how you look especially with a 6 year old! Lol Kuts and Queens is a clean facility and the vibe is comfortable. I was able to meet with the owners our first day in and I really love the family dynamic and how welcoming they were.
