My wife and I were in Logan, UT for a couple of weeks. We were told by friends that Angie's was very good. Went for breakfast twice and ended up ordering the same items because they were so good! My wife had the scone and eggs and I had the Double Barrel which included buttermilk pancakes, eggs, and bacon and sausage links. Pancakes were consistently fluffy and delicious. Coffee was good. My family and I came here because everyone says you have to try it and my brother loves it. The food tastes just like any other diner. The waitress wasn't very welcoming. The interior also seemed old and not very clean. I ordered French toast, bacon, and eggs. I asked for scrambled eggs and they didn't come out scrambled. When i told the waitress, it felt like she thought it was my fault that the order came out wrong. She sent it back to be fixed but it was frustrating when my entire family had finished eating in the time it took for my food to come out. read more

People love this place. It is always busy. I mean always! They say it's the locals favorite & it must be because there are a ton of regulars there. My honest opinion is that it is fair at best. The food is ok, nothing great, but not bad. It's your classic diner food. Lots of food & none of it is healthy. The atmosphere is clean & some what dated. It is great for large groups. We stopped by on Wednesday 07.07.21 to eat after going to Bear Lake. I ordered the special which was turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce and a roll & butter. The waitress said the turkey was half and half white and dark meat. When my meal arrived it was 90% dark and 10% white meat. I dislike dark meat. The stuffed dressing was disgusting and there was a very odd taste from the gravy. As if that didn't ruin our appetite we notice that the table across from us had a small dog at that table. When the elderly couple received their meals the lady put food from her plate on the table for the dog to eat off the table and lick the table. I don't why people take dogs to restaurants, stores and other places they shouldn't be. I am going to check to see if it is illegal to take a dog into a restaurant and next time I will walk out without paying the bill. We have ate at Angie's for over 25 years but today was the last time ever. read more

I've been here a few times while visiting family and it's always busy - that's how you know it's THE place for breakfast. This time around I got the vegetarian omelette with an English muffin and hash browns. It was all very delicious, but the omelette was slightly bland. When I was a kid I had a not-so-good experience at Angie's but I think they have made some sanitary improvements over the years and it's really good now. Their salads are the best! I want to go right now just for that scone! I usually get their chicken fried steak dinner and share with my kids because the food is so good and the portions are large. The only slightly negative thing I would say is the scrambled eggs are kinda mushy but I am a scrambled egg lover and might be a bit picky. Aside from that it is a great choice and my 5 year old constantly begs to go here. He seems to think it is a crime to drive by this place without stopping... Oh and the bathrooms are really clean (nice when you have little kids to clean up), the staff has always been awesome even when they are super busy, and the wait is short even when they are packed. read more

Just passing thru town and stopped here for breakfast. Lots of people waiting. 10:30 on a Saturday am. I expected a wait. Brian, the host, watches for people when they walk in and with his booming voice says "how many in ur party!?" Made me feel good amidst the chaos there's "Johnny on the spot" acknowledging us and making u feel welcome and taking charge. Good first impression, imo. Got sat, Nettie took our order. Eggs bacon and hash browns. Hard to screw up this standard breakfast, and they didn't. Good eggs, some of the BEST bacon I've ever had, hash browns were a little greasy, but serviceable. Coffee sucked. Maybe I got a bad brew but it was pretty thin. Brown water, basically. Service was good. Nettie never ckd back with us except to drop the ck. she seemed slammed so i didn't mind too much. She was sweet and having been a waitress back in the day, I could see the "weeds" look in her eyes. I drove from Provo, Utah looking forward to the succulent bone-in fried chicken that has always been on their menu for as long as I can remember. When I got there and tried to order I was told sorry! We do not have that on our menu anymore. What else would you like? I showed my disapointment and asked her why they took it off. She had the standard answer of most lower-level employees: I don't know. No explanation, no caring or friendly gesture for my loss! This was one of the last TRUE bone-in fried chicken places available. The bone-in(breast, wing, drumstick) had to be popular because over the years I would frequently order only to find out they ran out. If they ran out more than once one summizes it is popular. I do not want a breaded fried skinless no bone fried chicken breast. Give me old school bone in fried breast. Since it was so very popular I have to summize it was taken off the menu due to cost. Surely I cannot be the only one who questions this insanity! Nope, will not be going back anymore. Bring back the true FRIED BONE IN CHICKEN!
