This is a Logan staple that serves good diner food. I wouldn't say that this place is clean eating friendly but you can make it happen. The portions are large and what you would expect. I was surprised with my Sunday special for breakfast that consisted of eggs, trout, and hash browns. Really good! You can even get a free mini ice cream cone after your meal. read more

Have bee3n coming here on regular basis since 1997. Never had bad food or service. Today was the exception. Our waiter introduced himself right after we sat down, said someone would get us a drink and the left. he spent his time taking to the girls behind the counter. Finally my husband got his attention so we could order. We waited and saw our food come up but Brian was too busy visiting with the girls in the front to deliver it. My husband finally flagged another employee down and asked them to have Brian served our food. He dropped it off and promptly went back to visiting. Never checked back except to give us our ticket. Worse service we have ever had there. We will be back because the food is always good. Perhaps Brian would be better suited for another position. read more

I got the hickory burger with onion rings while my friend got the raspberry cheesecake French toast. Both were delicious! The restaurant was clean and obviously quite popular, and the staff were friendly. I'll go back next time I'm in Logan! read more

For breakfast, in a pinch, this is the place for breakfast. The menu is extensive, and they are always busy. Maybe this has to do with the dearth of good places in the valley for breakfast. Prices are fair, and service is good. But the food is just so- so. Not bad, but not that good. read more

We will NEVER go here again. The food was horrible. My salad had more brown lettuce than green. My chicken fried steak was obviously just a frozen one. My husband got a vegetarian skillet and the over easy egg was WAY overcooked. When I mentioned I couldn't decide between broccoli or carrots for my side because they both sounded good our waitress offered to have it be a little of both, which would have been perfect. She then came back and said she would have to charge me 60 cents to do that which was fine. A few minutes later she came back and said it would be $1.50 to do it which is fine I guess, it's only a $1.50 but why are you charging money for two half portions?? Our joke after that was we would get charged .37 cents to refill our water cups each time and .23 cents for a new napkin or heaven forbid we dropped a fork, what would the charge for that be?!! read more

We were visiting Logan, Utah from Star Valley, Wyoming for the day. After taking the kids swimming we stopped off at Angie's for some ice cream treats. We were greeted by the owner immediately and taken to a booth. We were given waters within a minute of sitting down. Our server Ivan greeted us with a smile and we ordered two shakes, and the brownie sundae. Ivan hurried off to get started on our treats. Within a few short minutes our ice cream had arrived first the sundae, then each of the shakes. Everything was creamy, cold and delicious. The brownie in the sundae was especially good. Ivan checked on us to make sure we were doing well and he anticipated that we would need to-go cups for the shakes that my daughter's had ordered. Overall the service was too notch, the ice cream was delicious, and this is definitely a restaurant that we will be back to again, not only for ice cream, their food looks amazing as well. read more

Meh... I am going to have to say, I don't get the reason for all the hype. Maybe it's the ice cream and desserts? We stopped by for dinner last week, in search of a home style cooked dinner; which many people had suggested. The place was busy as usual and they were doing their best to follow the social distancing protocol. We were quickly greeted by our server and our order was taken. I went with the Garden Skillet, eggs over easy. The wife was all about the Chicken Fried Steak. This girl LOVES Chicken Fried Steak, so she was excited. When her salad arrived, it was underwhelming to say the least. Brown lettuce, wilted and unappealing. Yikes...! Then, our meals arrived about 3 minutes after her salad was delivered. My over-easy eggs were so overdone, the yokes were a rubber consistently. The "garden" aspect of this vegetable skillet included a few tiny pieces of green pepper, a chunk of onion, absent of the mushrooms, and a few slices of unripened tomato's. Not what I would I expect for almost $11 ????? The Chicken Fried Steak was dry, barely warm and appeared to be fresh out of the freezer, brought to you by a Sysco Foods type provided. My wife ate a few bites and decided that was enough for her. Our server was near absent and we were in a hurry, so it was pointless to call out our disappointment in the condition of our meals. So why 3 stars? Simply because the people we met working there were trying their best to be friendly and welcoming. It's all college aged students, trying to pay the bills. (Utah State Aggies) I respect the balance of work and school. It's not easy. Their slogan is "Where the locals eat." I am glad they have such a great following and the locals support them. As for us and our experience... unfortunately I have to stretch to give them 3 stars. Sorry Angie's, you let us down during this visit. read more

We Came back for more and enjoyed the gluten free pancakes and a side of bacon with eggs. My coffee was always hot with the servers coming to refill. Choice of fruit, cantaloupe was fresh and cut ready to eat. Breakfast was delicious and I'm sure all the other meals will be just as good. The menu choices are great and there's plenty for everyone in your party to enjoy. Again we enjoyed exceptional customer service and came back for more scone, this time just plain with the honey butter. My husband had the veggie Omlette and he said it was filling. It's such a great local restaurant for everyone. They have homemade scones and giant cinnamon rolls. Overall, a wide variety of food choices to appease anyone and is a family friendly place. Friendly staff that is made up of mostly college town students. I want to save someone else from a possible really bad outcome! This is not a post to bash. This is not a post to upset anyone this is strictly a post to make others aware. My young son has a food allergy that he was recently diagnosed with and we are still adjusting to. Today we went to eat at a local favorite restaurant. LEGALLY in the U.S. they are required by law to be able to produce information on prepackaged food they serve. They are also required to be careful with cross contaminations. I simply asked today when sitting down if they had any menu options on their menu without this allergen. The waiter was gone all of 30 seconds before coming back to tell me. No one knows. I then asked ok, What about the manager? He said he doesn't know either. I then explained that I didn't want to cause an issue but I would just like to make sure when ordering that I know what is in my childs food so he doesn't have an allergic reaction and I asked to speak to the manager. I tried to be as friendly as I could. The manager came over with a not so friendly attitude and asked what my problem was. I explained that I was told that no one knew what products contained my son's allergen, and that I needed to see the allergen facts on the children's menu. He said sorry no one knows. I explained that legally in the U.S. it is a requirement to list food allergens on pre packaged food and if it contains ( I listed said allergy ) he then so happily noted that hes never heard of that being an allergy and again no one knows what's in their food, but if I wanted to give him an exact menu item he'd try and find out from kitchen staff. This entire time the kitchen staff was watching from the window fuming and staring at me. I listed off the Mac and cheese and the manager walked over and had a hushed tone conversation with them through the window. They uttered this is unbelievable and threw a package of Mac and cheese through the window and continued having a heated hushed discussion. At this point my son was extremely uncomfortable and felt like an inconvenience due to his allergy, I was then concerned I wouldn't get proper information and would be feeding him food that would still contained his allergy they didn't believe he had, and probably have food that was spit in. The waitresses, waiters, kitchen staff, and manager were all furious with my son's allergy and with me. We decided to stand up and I told them nicely and calmly to not worry about it and that we'd actually just be going. On my way out the door they continued yelling and made sure to yell "Have a nice day Karen!" I did my best to walk out with pride and a stiff back and mouth shut. My son was already stinging hurt by the fact he had officially found somewhere he wasn't welcome due to his allergy. He wasn't treated fair today. He was treated with disrespect. You made a little boy feel like he was an inconvenience to you because his body betrays him by the food he eats. I understand everyone has bad days. Maybe I caught you on a bad day ANGIES in Logan UTAH maybe I caught your staff on a bad day. But that's not an excuse to crush a little dudes spirit. Not to mention that's not an excuse to possibly cause someone an allergic reaction and send someone to the ER so fair warning to everyone with allergies in Logan. Be careful. You may not actually know if they are serving you your allergen or not and they don't care to truly check. If you ask you'll probably just piss them off.... read more

Great food, great customer service, and great atmosphere! My wife and I got the chicken strips and the turkey melt which both were phenomenal. The chicken strips are huge and definitely felt like I got my moneys worth, and they were very crispy as well of course tasty. The turkey melt wasn't the best ever but good enough to get again. Cherry on top for us were the water boys, they both were very friendly and asked literally every 3 minutes if we wanted refills. Have to give it a try if you are running through Logan. read more
