    Pad Thai

When we walk in at 5pm on Sat, we were told they only take reservations and they don't take walk ins. So we have to order take out. They charge white rice for $6 where other places charges $2. Food is not very good and the pad Thai tastes like plain noodles. Won't come again.

Visiting Woodstock for our anniversary and we were craving flavorful food. Angkor Wat exceeded our expectations. The fresh crisp veggies, the noodles at just the right consistency, the full bodied flavorful broths made our mouths tingle with both heat and flavor. We had: chicken dumplings, Thai rolls (the lettuce tasted garden fresh & shrimp were firm and flavorful!), Cambodian chicken Khmer curry soup and Cambodian beef Luk Lok. Everything was full bodied on flavor and we felt so grateful we had this restaurant as an option for a take out anniversary dinner! It's important to note that Angkor Wat practiced excellent Coronavirus Courtesy with their efficient curb side pick up. We wish Chef Chy & staff resilience and wisdom as they navigate the ever changing circumstances of running a restaurant during the pandemic. Thank you all for the goodness you cooked up for us !

Sirloin with Ginger special. Totally raw. The owner would not take it back. I ended up paying half price.

Khmer Curry Chicken Soup was not bad. I ordered the quail appetizer which tasted worse than a Tyson chicken wing that sat on the floor for a year at a low-end Chinese takeout joint. The sirloin special was passable however it was served nearly raw. We were the first two patrons of the day. The server was slow, unfriendly, not knowledgeable about the cuisine, and the chef never came out to apologize for the mess he served. The parking lot is poorly organized and during Vermont's mud season, a mess. We waited 3 hours in Woodstock for this place to open at 4:00. We were so excited to try Cambodian food. We wont be back!

The food was by no means bad but it did have that sort of premade microwaved feel to it. I had chicken lo main and It was standard, and I actually really enjoyed their cashew chicken (though it was heavily fried in my opinion which is not something I'm used to with cashew chicken). They have fun drinks like flaming dragon bowls and sake bombs, so not a bad place to go with friends for the experience.

First-time customer here -- and I'm so glad I found this place!…read more I placed a sizable takeout order on New Year's Eve day, arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and everything was already packed and ready to go. The staff at the front desk were kind, welcoming, and incredibly organized. They handed me perfectly packed, piping-hot food, offered me chopsticks, and I was on my way in minutes. Somehow, the food even stayed warm for hours -- the first servings didn't need reheating at all! The quality was outstanding. Everything we ordered was easily the best Chinese food we've had in the region. Even though it's about a half-hour drive from home, it will be well worth the trip, and we'll definitely be repeat customers. I also want to highlight how vegetarian- and vegan-friendly the menu is. There are lots of tofu options, and when I requested vegetarian sauce for the mixed vegetable dinner, they thoughtfully accommodated it. I really appreciated that attention to detail. The vegetarian egg rolls were a rare treat, and the crab rangoon was reportedly fresh and house-made. I'm looking forward to dining in sometime -- the restaurant is spacious yet cozy, with soft lighting and a relaxed feel. Based on my experience, the customer care here is genuinely thoughtful, and the food is fantastic. I'll be sure to upload photos on a future visit! Highly recommended.

Boyfriend's choice last night! And he deserved it after taking me to First Friday AND Schilling,…read moretwo things he did not want to do, lol. Really this was a much better experience than the last (October 2025). I had one of their cocktails... *very good* and it was strong. They do great cocktails here! We also shared the pearl shrimp dumplings and the Thai won tons. Both amazing. The dipping sauces were very tasty. Definitely come here for cocktails and appetizers! They do them right! For mains, Boyfriend had the chicken teriyaki and I decided to give their sushi yet another chance... no. No more. I only ordered one roll since I knew they are pretty big for sushi rolls - picked the Alaska because it was only $9, and I didn't want to waste my time on a fancy roll here... it was very fresh and the fish was tasty. However the rice feels very "grainy" - not like sushi rice - and the roll and the soy sauce were quite salty. It's just not the best sushi I've had. Next time - I will concentrate on apps. Boyfriend did like his chicken - veggies were perfect - but once again said there wasn't enough sauce by far. He would have it again, but try and ask for more teriyaki sauce next time.... Oh yes and we asked to sit on the bar side this time - this was great! Quieter and cleaner. We will be back!

Decent Thai food with plenty of vegan options…read more I saw online that they had a vegetarian section of the menu and that many items could be made vegan upon the quest. I ordered their Pad See Ew ($18) vegan and requested it to be 4/4. The food came out in about 10 minutes. The spice level was pretty much a 0/4, with a very simple, sweet soy sauce coating everything. The noodles were cooked well and came with broccoli, carrot and snow peas, and a reasonable serving of deep fried tofu. Not the most authentic or complex flavours but adequately made. Pleasant meal, friendly service; good stop in this charming little town.

Not sure if it was intentional or not but the soup tasted not only way too sour but also sweet. Almost like there was balsamic vinegar or a lot of sugar dumped into it and because of that, it was my least favorite item. I did really enjoy my boyfriend's crispy duck dish as it was probably the first time I had a duck dish at an Asian restaurant that didn't come with bones. The curry sauce was really unique and almost tasted like gravy. The actual broth of the wonton soup was tasty but the wontons themselves tasted frozen and doughy. The gentleman owner was extremely polite and courteous when we were placing our order.

This epic tale starts with a Chinese woman with hair curlers, sticking her hand out the front door of the restaurant asking for "Credit CAR!" Several times before my boyfriend finally gave her the phone to speak to me. My boyfriend and I decided that after work, we would celebrate his birthday with some Chinese take out and evening of simple pleasures but this experience takes the cake! After the woman decided to hang up on me once she got my "Credit Car" , my boyfriend grabbed the phone as she shooed him out the door with two large stapled brown mystery bags, and slammed it behind him. "The audacity!" He states. We thought, well with this kind of customer service the food must be amazing... So one could only have dreamt. We go to unbox this unorthodox version of what they call "Chinese food", that smelled and looked as if the garbage disposal regurgitated the previous order. Sadly, the food was such a disappointment the homeless crack head behind the restaraunt would return this monstrosity and shake the dust off his feet. The rice was soggy and was the lowest grade, this is coming from an Asian person, myself. The hunan beef tasted bland, no flavor but oily and possibly an old rubber heel of a shoe. The General Tsao chicken tasted mildly like Palmolive with a touch of spice. The Szechuan dumplings, looked undercooked and smothered in the nearest mud puddle of the street and the sauce didn't taste too far from it. The appetizers were over cooked and the boneless spare ribs was such a disappointment. How can you mess that up, you ask? Easy, overcook it, throw some unknown brown sauce and smother it in aunt Jemima syrup and rub in some old grease. The wonton soup was salty, very salty. What flavor they were trying to cover, I do NOT want to know. If you want a night of diabetes, unknown flavors of possible mop water and pure regret, get your food from Kong Chow Restaurant, which I would said kong CIAO b/c they will never see this cute Asian face again! All brought to you worth $57.75! Food was inedible but worth the bad experience just to share with you!
