10/10 stars! Angle was a fantastic dinner spot that my friends and I came to on a Friday evening. We sat in a corner and there was a pianist playing which created a lovely ambiance. The service was spectacular. Beyond amazing. My friends and I ordered a few items to share. For appetizers, we split the wedge salad which came with tomato, bacon, cucumber, pickled red onion, and Maytag blue cheese dressing. It was delicious and I loved that they offered to split the salad in 2 dishes for my friend and I. So much easier. Additionally, we got the Snake River Farms Wagyu NY strip cooked medium and it was PHENOMENAL!!!!! For a side we got the baked mac and cheese which consisted of bechamel, 3 cheeses and pretzel crumbs. This side is a MUST! We also ordered the pumpkin gnocchi which consisted of duck confit, candied apple, and brown butter sage. My friends got the Lobster Campanelle which they were RAVING about. We ate here on our last night of our stay at Eau. The server and assistants were attentive and friendly. The piano player added a nice ambiance. The pretzel bread was a nice start. I had the Caesar salad, which was good but nothing to write home about. The organic greens salad was about the same. For the entrees, I had the NY strip and it was perfect. Juicy and flavorful. Perfect temp. You could tell the farm to table difference. He had the grouper, which he felt was good, but again not great. I'd highly recommend staying with the steaks. The sides were baked Mac & cheese and mushrooms. Both were delicious. Desserts were the cheesecake and carrot cake bread pudding. Both were tasty. They brought out a surprise dessert for my birthday which was a nice touch and piano played happy birthday. One note, I was impressed the manager told the table across from us to get the dog off the booth/table. Honestly was so off putting. The same dog kept nipping at servers as they walked by. I honestly feel they should've asked the dog to leave. At $500 for two, I shouldn't be listening to aggressive dogs and watching the owners keep them at the table which is so unsanitary. So I appreciate sticking to the rules, regardless if it upset that other couple. read more

This was an excellent meal at a premium price, as one might imagine was likely at a Palm Beach resort. Nonetheless, the service was attentive and excellent and the food prepared expertly. The wilted spinach salad with warm bacon vinaigrette was delightful and the pappardelle bolognese was prepared with perfectly cooked al dente pasta and a savory ragú that was literally lip smacking. With a decent glass of wine (Orin Swift!) from an excellent by the glass list I was out the door for $120 including a generous gratuity for good service. It wasn't too much for a special visit to Palm Beach even if it was too much for everyday. read more

Waiter (Michael ) very knowledgable of the menu and cocktails and gave great recommendations for a not too sweet mezcal based cocktail and gin-based martini. Very impressed by the bread which comes with mustard seed butter spread(?) as well as a beer cheese! We were staying here at Eau and decided to eat at Angle. Once we were seated, no one ever came over to greet us. Never even served us water. We proceeded to sit there another 10 mins with menus in hand. Finally, we made the decision to get up and leave. I expected so much more, but was very disappointed. read more

My wife and I made reservations for Thanksgiving to go there. We went a little bit early before our reservation had a nice bottle of wine sat in the lobby and people watched went in to the restaurant when it was time to eat, was greeted by super friendly staff, a complementary glass of champagne and some chocolate shots that were Over-the-top delicious. The food was nothing short of amazing I had a fillet with crab meat and asparagus and my wife had the scallops truly a 5 Star place,with five star service very expensive but worth it. read more

Excellent, intimate dinner in their beautiful dining room. I typically hate eating at the hotel that I'm staying at, but Angle was very good, as to be expected at the Eau. Cocktails here were excellent, especially the superb smoked Manhattans made table side from their Manhattan cart. Steak Tartar starter was beautiful, tasted excellent and was generous in size. Their house Caesar Salad was very unique and delicious. The filets we had were beautiful in flavor and char, but the larger one was cooked slightly a bit more than ordered - not terribly, but still delicious. Sides were quite good and their homemade desserts were an excellent finish to the night. Service by Michael was really excellent. Excellent attention to detail, attentiveness and knowledge about the food and cocktails. Good for a regular night out when you want something more refined or a special occasion. read more

What a wonderful dining experience. We made a reservation in advance based on a friend's recommendation. It was delicious! They were hosting a special called "Flavor Palm Beach" and it included a preset menu of 4 courses for $95. First course was Caesar Salad. There was a bit too much dressing on it but it was a good classic salad. Second course was lobster bisque. Probably some of the best lobster bisque I've ever had. Not too thick, the right amount of brandy and nice chunks of lobster. The best thing I ate all night. Third course was seed crusted snapper with squid ink pappardelle and micro greens. It was delicious! There was a light broth poured on top and that too was very light and tasty. The seeds were fennel, mustard, sesame etc. snapper was flaky and delicious. Fourth course was dessert. My husband got chocolate cake and I tried a bite. VERY good cake! Moist and light with lots of fine chocolate flavor. The valet made for easy parking, the hotel is stunning! We went early and went for a drink in the lobby. AMAZING dirty martini! And the staff in the restaurant was very friendly. The champagne toast with Veuve Clicoquot was a nice touch. One of the best restaurants in South Florida!!!! On our recent stay at the EAU Palm Resort and Spa, formerly known as the Ritz we had the opportunity to have dinner at the Angle Restaurant. This place is located inside rye EAU resort and if you are just coming for dinner the restaurant is located at the left after the entrance of the resort. This is a 5 star restaurant and luxury at its finest. The employees are amazing and treat all their guests like royalty. We enjoyed the 3 course meal which was amazing. I would recommend the creekstone farm steaks which are cooked to perfection. This was hands down my favorite dinner I've ever had. The service was impeccable it seriously could not have been better; There was never a moment where I was wondering where our server was and there was never a moment I wanted "more". We were greeted with champagne for a toast, which was such a nice moment to have. This food was spectacular, the bread to start was served with beer cheese and mustard butter and it was to die for. The palate cleanser was delicious and necessary. The sides of Mac and Cheese and tempura vegetables were amazing. The main dishes were perfect, we seriously had no complaints. For the finale we were served chocolate truffles that were the most delicious bite to end on. Might I add these along with the bread, champagne and palate cleanser were included in dinner. The restaurant is gorgeous, the piano player was happy to play our requests, the wait staff were attentive and helpful without being intrusive. They treated us to complimentary glass of champagne as it was our first visit there, which was quite good. The chef sent out an amuse bouche and an intermezzo which were wonderful. The food was top notch. My husband and son got the dry aged wagyu strip and the filet respectively, and I got the duck breast. Everything came out the correct temperature and absolutely delicious. We were staying at the hotel for a night and decided we'll just stay in to have dinner. The live music was great. But I didn't really feel the service being up to par with the price tag of the meals. Our dozen of oysters were around the sizes of a nickel. The oysters came with vinegar peppercorn shallot dip which is our favorite but we weren't provided with any plates or those tiny forks and spoons to eat the oysters with. I thought the waiter would bring them eventually but he didn't. Another employee came by so I asked him for the forks and spoons instead. My lobster fra diavolo was alright. It came with decent amount of lobster claws but we all know 90% of the time the claw meat just don't taste that great. However, my kids and husband ordered the wagu burger and THAT was the ONLY item that I felt was worth what we paid that night. The patty was juicy and flavorful. Last evening we returned to one of our favorite upscale dining establishments to celebrate our anniversary. This place does not disappoint. I would venture to say that you'd be hard pressed to find a more beautiful dining room in Palm Beach County. Our server, Michael, was our server the first time we visited before the pandemic and I can't tell you how glad we were when we saw him. He elevates the dining experience with his knowledge and charisma. He remembered us as well and it was like dining with an old friend. The Angle management should know how lucky they are to have him on their staff. The food, as always, was delicious and although my wife didn't get her favorite lobster Mac, the shrimp and grits exceeded her expectations. The complimentary champagne and dessert is just the icing on the cake to show how far this place will go to take care of their guests. I want to also thank Zsolt Neuwirth who was on vacation but made sure we were well taken care of on this occasion. If you're looking for a wonderful dining experience, don't miss out on this one! Well this place is part of The Eau Palm Beach Hotel, an amazing place if ever there was one. I have been here only once. I enjoyed the experience. I had the stuffed Pork Chop. It was VERY good. (Although nobody makes Pork Chops like my beautiful Mamacita, but Angle did indeed cook it well!) I had been on the fence about what to order. I am happy to report that I enjoyed my meal as did my dining companion but since this review is several months old, I have forgot what he actually got. Anyway.. We had chocolate cake afterward. Yummy! Good meal! We almost did not come here, mainly because of the prices. OK, This is a 5 star hotel but the prices at this restaurant are high so you have been warned! It is VERY upscale. I would describe it as upscale as it gets. Walking to the place is great because, as mentioned it is part of the EAU and the EAU has a lobby that smells so good. I would like to know what they use to keep their lobby smelling so good. When we stayed here, it did not matter what time of day you crossed the lobby, it ALWAYS smelled like that ! So yes, this was a very nice dining experience. But out of all the places at Eau to eat, my favorite is still Stir, their Cocktail Lounge that also serves food and which is among my top ten places to eat EVER. I don't mind paying the price for excellent food but this was not worth it. The filet mignon you could have gotten elsewhere for a fraction of the cost. Recently, my family and friends treated me to an amazing dinner at Angle for my bachelorette. From the moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the warm and welcoming staff. Shawls were provided to the ladies who felt a bit chilly and the staff even went above and beyond to ask maintenance to adjust the thermostat. Our waiter Michael was amazing! Michael was not only friendly but he made wonderful food and wine suggestions. He was an absolute delight and we could not have been any happier with the service he provided. The lobster bisque, local sea bass special, rib eye steak and key lime dessert were absolutely delicious! The restaurant was kind to send out a complimentary congratulations on my engagement dessert, it was such a sweet surprise after an already amazing meal. The place tries very hard to present itself as a "fine dining" establishment, but the food just isn't very good and the service and ambiance are all a little awkward. Best part of the meal was the free champagne upon arrival and the beer cheese dip with the bread!! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. It is overpriced and takes itself much too seriously. None of the fish entrees were even half decent--my dinner companion and I both left our plates with food on them. I have had the pleasure of dining at Angle, under the direction of Chef Manlee Sou, on two separate occasions. I have had the opportunity to taste most of the menu, and I can say that without a doubt, the cuisine is 5+ stars. I love that this restaurant really stresses "farm-to-table" and even lists the farms sources on the menu. That being said, the menu also changes to reflect seasonal produce and themes, so you know the food you're indulging in is incredibly fresh. The waitstaff is incredibly knowledgeable about the menu and wine list, and has clearly been trained to the highest standards of hospitality. The decor is elegant and opulent, although the two-top booth tables are a little too long, making it a little awkward to speak to your companion if they're sitting across from you. I would recommend trying this restaurant with a large group so that you have the opportunity to sample the menu. My absolute favorite dishes from the current (November) menu were the duck and the red snapper. I will be dreaming about the crust on the snapper for months to come! Make sure you save room for dessert because the apple pie (crust made from Chef's own snickerdoodle recipe... you heard me) is better than your grandma's, no contest. Pro tip: order the special coffee service at the end, it's a real treat! read more

I never write bad reviews, but this place ticked me off. As a disclaimer we had a large group. We agreed before-hand on a limited menu for the evening which is understandable considering the size of our group. I would describe my family as a group with great taste, that's pretty easy to please as long as you come through with what is promised. The night started well as the place is very elegant. We had great tables and were seated promptly. The breads were delicious. and they came out giving us our choice of still or sparkling water. Our choices for dinner were... North Carolina Flounder, Colorado Lamb Leg Persillade, New York Strip 10 oz., and the "Special" Rib Rack. The Lamb: I have had lamb and prepared it countless times and I love it. Three people in our party ordered it. My friend sitting next to me was asked the temp for her lamb, and she chose medium rare. I got to see and taste hers. It was cooked all the way through (not even pink, much less medium rare) and the texture was gross. It tasted like minced up boiled lamb meat. When we asked them why it tasted like they boiled the lamb, he responded with "The lamb is sous-vide" (had to Google the spelling of that lol) horrible choice and they should have told us that before-hand because we never expected this, considering they asked us what temperature we wanted the lamb. All three people who ordered it (before even discussing it with each other) sent it back. Over-all... gross. The Special: "Rib Rack." We were all extremely excited about this dish. There were 6 left and we ordered all 6! We had never heard of Rib Rack before but the server explained it was similar to a Rib Eye. Considering Rib Eye is my favorite cut, this was the dish I ordered. What was it actually... two narrow pieces of flank-looking steak with a chuck of fat running through it. It was edible but def not worth "5 stars" or $36. I wouldn't even give it 3 stars. IDK where this waiter got that it's "like a rib eye" I'm still perplexed as to what he could have been thinking. The Strip and Flounder: these were good. I guess we can give credit on the Flounder... the New York... as long as you get the temp right you can't really mess that one up, but whatever any "5 star" charging $56 for 10oz better get that right. The Sides: came out family style, which is cool... BUT... they came out after we were half done with our dishes!!! The mash potatoes were extremely salty (and I like salty food) 4 people couldn't even eat them. The Wine: Oh man this was a dooozy for me... We brought our own wine ($60-$90 bottles plus $35 corkage on each one- this is not a complaint we are used to this, especially at a "5 star"). We had approximately 8 different wines. We had them all open and everyone was serving themselves whichever they wanted to try. All the sudden the server comes behind me and without asking refills my glass. Super nice right? NO! My glass was not even close to empty!!! AND he just grabbed whatever wine and poured it in there. My father and I gave each other a "what in the world is he pouring?" look. Luckily, when he put the bottle down we saw that it was indeed the wine I had in my glass. I told him to not do that again. He responded with.... 'Oh, I thought you all were drinking the wine closest to you." This response is something you should NEVER hear out of a "5 star" restaurant. The Water: this is kinda of a stupid criticism but worth mentioning... they charged us for water. We aren't cheap people by any means, but the delivery with which they offered the water was like "still or sparkling" was our only choice and therefore included. Not the regular "would you like bottled or sparkling instead?" Dessert: everyone seemed happy with the desserts. The Service: the servers were friendly, although apparently inept. The description of the dishes and the wine incident should not occur at a "5 star" restaurant. You are prob wondering why I keep pulling out the "5 star" card. Well, when we went to tell the manager about all the short-comings, that is all he kept repeating. How he had this "5 star" restaurant. He never apologized... never owned up to anything being wrong. He actually insulted my friend that works in the hospitality. She was trying to explain that we regularly eat out at this caliber of restaurant and he responded with "where you work is only 4 stars"... at this point we saw that he was uninterested in what we had to say. We paid and left and here I am. Lastly... let me tell you something, this restaurant is at Eau Palm Beach Resort and Spa. Besides this dinner.. our experience there was exquisite. I will be reviewing them next: the spa... the poolside food and drinks... the rooms... valet... all was incredible, I never heard the words "no, we cant." ~The End read more

My 8 girlfriends and I stayed at the Ritz for the weekend and had a horrible dining experience at Angle. We stopped by the hostess stand to make a reservation who kindly took our reservation for 2 hours later. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the same hostess that took our reservation and the POMPOUS manager who said that we didn't have a reservation. We said that we had just made it 2 hours before on our walk to the room. He wanted us to tell him right then and there who we made the reservation with so "he could address this issue with his employee". The girl was right next to him. This was annoying because the restaurant was EMPTY. Instead of making us feel uncomfortable and scolding his employee for the mistake, he should have just seated us and have been done with it. They did seat us in the luxurious empty restaurant and that's when things went downhill. Our server was a sweet young girl who greeted us warmly and took everyone's order. We specifically ordered tap water with our meals but were charged $50 in evian which I do not believe we were served and I know we did not order. The girls who ordered seafood liked their entrees, but of the 5 that ordered shortribs, 1 sent it back immediately because of the taste and 3 others ended up sick to their stomachs that evening. I'm not accusing the restaurant of serving bad meat but it may have been just how heavy the food was. Everything was very bold in flavor and overwhelming. Not in a good way. Just in case, stay away from the shortribs. At this point I went back to the room because I was sick to my stomach however this is where it all went south. It took the server OVER AN HOUR to seperate the checks which we asked about prior to even ordering. Someone in our party kept checking in with them and begging them to just bring the check back in total and we would figure it out ourselves. The manager became a real jerk at this point and was incredibly rude and unapologetic about the delay or mistake overcharge in water. Never offered any compensation for mistakes or time wasted. At one point he got into a shouting match with one of our guests who was simply trying to inquire on what in the world was taking so long. The overall experience at Angle was extremely disappointing. Even though you may want a luxurious dining experience while staying at the luxurious resort, save your money and dine at Temple Orange. read more

Ate at Angle last night in the Ritz Carlton hotel and was impressed. The decor is very unique, warm, and undoubtedly luxurious. My wife and I started with the wood charred octopus and caviar taco appetizers. The presentation on both appetizers was simply top-notch: my octopus arrived still steaming over a boiling pot of liquid while the server carefully removed them from skewers and placed them on my plate in front of me. My wife's calamari tacos were three small tacos nestled in what appeared to be a small patch of wheatgrass, garnished with edible flowers...truly amazing... For entrees, I ordered the black angus filet and my wife ordered the fluke. While decidedly less over-the-top in their presentation, these simple but elegant entrees were perfectly cooked and delicious. The highlight of the entrees was the great mixture of onions, mushrooms, and fiddlehead ferns that accompanied my steak...this was a flavorful accompaniment to the perfectly cooked steak. Finally, at dessert we enjoyed the Nutella Beignets. These weren't quite as good as I had hoped, but perhaps that is because we have previously eaten the best beignets on the planet at Butter in NYC. The only significant flaws with the evening were the fact that our entrees arrived 2-3 minutes before the accompanying glasses of wine. Also, after eating our entrees our empty dishes were left to sit too long in front of us for a restaurant of this caliber and price. First of all this restaurant is located in the Eau Palm Beach resort & spa. Was a little confused upon arrival since I was expecting a free standing restaurant. Okay. So as soon as you walk into this beautiful hotel. I was just in awe of the beauty of the interior of restaurant. Food: ordered the filet mignon. Topped with russett potatoe cake and topped again with foie gras. OMG Huge mistake ....both of us were sick. the entire night. so I called the manager of the following day and told them I was violently sick and asked if anyone else was also sick from the same meal, he said no and he would find out, finally after repeated phone calls to the manager he escalated the issue to their insurance company to go see a doctor. and they would reimburse me for the office visit. I refused to go see a doctor since I was completely fine after a few more days of recovering. needless to say won't be going back. EVER. read more
