First, the interior isn't too crazy but feels authentic. Service is friendly and food comes out quick. On the night we were there, they played Cantonese music so it felt like home. The food was quite delicious. We ordered a variety of dishes from pig intestines to beef noodle soup to clay pot rice. The food was all very tasty - can't complain. Our surprise favorite was the fried milk. I can't explain but it's just so good and a great dessert if you don't like cold dessert. The boba drinks were all so delicious. All three that I tried weren't too sweet but just right.

Most of the soups also included clear glass noodles and came in a wide variety of combinations, so there were plenty of options to choose from. One detail I really appreciated was their takeout packaging. If you have leftovers, they use a professional heat-sealing machine that applies a thin plastic seal over the container before the lid goes on. The young man working this night was very friendly and attentive, I believe it was the owner that came over to check on us as well after we rec'd our food... We ordered the Original Boneless fried chicken and the Honey Garlic, along with a large side of fries, I ordered the Mashed Potatoes and Gravy, was delish, the gravy was so tasty and had a bit of hot spiciness to it, we also were served the pickled radish, and their homemade coleslaw equally delish. Me and my sister came in for lunch. We are friendly with the owner but I guess he sold it to new people. NEVER. GOING. BACK. The food just was not the same. The oil they fried the chicken in must be old or something. The new owner, that's who she SAID she was, how it was and our response was that it seemed to taste a bit off, she was kind of rude trying to tell us that there was nothing wrong with the oil, and muttered some comment as she walked away. Came here for lunch with a few friends and this place is legit good. Tucked in a small plaza near Katsu Ramen and Dae Gee is Angry Chicken even though I don't think their sign said Angry Chicken. Everything here is so good if you like fried chicken or boneless wings type of chicken. I got the boneless wings with green onion and it comes with a sauce that is lightly over it that is wasabi like, it so really good! I also got a side of honey garlic sauce and spicy soy to go with it, both sauces are amazing. I also did get a side of mashed potatoes and gravy which the gravy has a little kick to it. Some of the cabbage was carelessly chopped into like 10 inch strips, which I had to chop with a knife, or large chewy chunks of stem I just tossed out. This kind of lack of attention is unacceptable. Likewise with chicken and beef dishes - mostly just vegetables, and what meat was there seems low quality. Flavors were all fine. Scallion pancake - which I always order, everywhere - was the absolute smallest I've ever seen, but was decent. But they forgot to include the mu shu wraps!!! That's the whole point of the dish! So that's a star lost right there. I will probably order from them again in another year when desperate enough. It's not gross. It's just not very good.

For BBQ alone, I personally think there are better values elsewhere. That said, the hot pot is where this place really shines. The setup is great, the vegetables are fresh, there are plenty of options to choose from, and it's an excellent value for what you get. The quality of the ingredients and the overall experience make it an easy place to recommend. I'll definitely be back for the hot pot!
