Stopped by at this location (been to other location in Hollywood) and it tastes exactly the same. The angry Mac always hits. A good mixture of fries, Mac, and chicken. Friendly workers and fast service. Lots of seating and tv's playing sports by the "bar" area. Angry Mac 5/5 Two chopped tenders with Mac & Cheese under a then crispy seasoned fries under the Mac. Safe heat level in my opinion is Mild or Medium. Not too hot but it is a nice kick. If you're in the area definitely stop by!

The food was AMAZING. If you're not a fan of spice it's best to stick with mild because even the medium spice level was very spicy. However I LOVED it! The first time I went I got the tenders and the people I was with got the angry Mac.. I tried it and had to go back the next day to get it because it was SOOOO good. I'm convinced everything on the menu is amazing. This place will be my first stop every time I visit Cali!!

Was walking by this place and, despite my better judgement, was tempted to try the Angry-level chicken. The interior of the restaurant was super cool and the music was hip and trendy. Worker Cody had me sign a waiver online before putting in my order: An Angry chicken tender with Mac and Cheese. I got water to prepare for the challenge and waited for my food, which came out quickly. ...Guys, Capsaicin pepper is no joke. One bite and I was DYING. The spice immediately numbed my tongue and made it impossible to speak. Cody saw me struggling and came to the rescue with a cup of milk and some kind words of encouragement. I ordered a regular chicken tender with sauce right after that, which was a pleasantly delicious and refreshing after my near-death experience with the spicy monstrosity they called Angry chicken. That milk saved my life tbh. Thanks so much for the excellent service, Cody!!!!! YOU THE BEST! :)

Called in ahead of time to place an order to save time, however, items DID NOT GET MADE upon arrival. The receipt even says "don't make" ???? Waitress even said there was no order put in. Great food but management needs to reassess service being provided

The good bye bag I got when I said I was moving

If your in the mood for a good spicy chicken sandwich this is the place... I heard about this place and decided to stop by I ordered a #1 with heat level angry but the guy taking my order talked me out of it he said I had to sign a waiver..lol so I was like ok let me just try the X-hot and that was my biggest mistake lol when I tell you it was hot this sandwich was hot first bite it was good juicy and not dry like some places but then it hit me I was sweating and my mouth was on fire..lol but I did finally finish it I will never get that heat level again but over all it was a good sandwich and there Angry Mac is so good I had to take that to good and eat it at home cause my mouth and lips was on fire from the sandwich I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of my food but I will definitely be back it's worth the pain...lol

I know people come for the mac and cheese but it's just ok. They use a Velveeta-like cheese. Not shredded or melted block cheese like the kind in casserole dishes. We got the Hot, and for people who like spicy, it still burned our butts. I think a bowl could be shared with a partner. It's loaded. Refillable fountain drinks. Open late. I still prefer Hattie's.

Hot chicken places have been opening all over Orange County in the past couple of years, and Angry Chickz is a new contender to the market with its first OC location. The menu tends to be fairly consistent at these places, all variations of chicken on or not on bread, but Angry Chickz changes it up with their various bowls, which add a bit of variety. Had the chance to try their Hangry Fix, which is really just a great combination of all their sides in a bowl, and I'd have to say taste wise it's delicious and heat wise it's no slouch. I really appreciate all the different options on the menu, as it does give some great options to balance the heat. If you're at all a hot chicken enthusiast, this is definitely a welcome new addition that's worth checking out.

Combo #3 - One hot seasoned chicken slider with coleslaw and one tender over white bread topped with pickles, and side of fries

ANGRY CHICKZ GRAND OPENING!! Calling all spice seekers and foodie fanatics!! Get ready for some tantalizing spicy flavors at Angry Chickz, Aliso Viejo's hottest new spot and the FIRST in the OC!! SPICY LEVELS GALORE!! They have different levels of spiciness to satisfy all heat seekers, from mild to angry hot (you have to sign a waiver) I'm not into that so I stuck with the mild and medium. Everything we tried: Combo #3 - One hot seasoned chicken slider with coleslaw and one tender over white bread topped with pickles, and side of fries Combo #4 - Two hot chicken tenders over a buttery rice topped with slaw, pickles and secret sauce - Hangry Fix: buttery rice topped with diced hot chicken tenders and topped with coleslaw and Mac n cheese - Angry Fries: diced hot chicken tenders on top of fries and topped with coleslaw and pickles. - Angry Mac: indulgence meets spiciness. Flavor packed combo of fries, diced hot chicken tenders and Mac n Cheese. - Side of fries - Side of Mac (smaller than I thought) Angry Chickz is your ticket to a spicy and scrumptious food, especially if you really like SPICY!!

Was in Camarillo for school and my housemate brought some home and needed to try it. First thought was a twist of Dave's hot chicken, but with more flavor! Would definelty try everything by itself next time I'm up there

Ask the Community - Angry Chickz

Is the chicken here spicy or not spicy?

It can be so spicy you'll regret everything. And very mild. The angry Mac is my favorite.

Is there anywhere we can see all the ingredients to the items on the menu? Like on the slider, what's actually on there? What are all the sauces shown? Are they all very hot?

yes you can get hot or not hot

The service could've been a little more friendly. The young guy working at the register didn't say much and didn't seem to really promote the menu, even after I told him it was my first time there. I was really excited to try the food here with my friend. I was in the mood for whole pieces of chicken and I'm so glad I chose the half chicken plate. The plate comes with two sides and there were a few options to choose from. I selected a side salad and roasted lemon garlic potatoes. I was trying to be a little more healthy. Otherwise, I probably would've chosen the french fries. The dressing on the salad was really good and all of the ingredients were fresh. I really liked the pickled red onions that came with the salad. The potatoes were alright. The plate also comes with a large soft pita. And the garlic sauce was just right with everything . The star of the show was the juicy and flavorful chicken.I enjoyed this lunch so much. I can't wait to come back!

I love their Kalbi set which is plenty of food for my husband and me to share. We have tried the combo set with unmarinated brisket + Kalbi and thought the Kalbi was perfectly tender and tastefully seasoned, but the brisket was a bit tough and chewy. The second time, we ordered the combo set with Kalbi + bulgogi and we loved it so much that we went back a third time and ordered the same thing and loved it the third time as well. The bulgogi was tender and flavorful and went well with the lettuce and tasty ssamjang (thick chili/bean paste dipping sauce). The soft tofu it comes with was also a welcome part of the meal and all of the banchan side dishes were also excellent. Some Korean restaurants serve banchan dishes that are all cloyingly sweet, but at Nasung, all of the banchans are fresh, well balanced, savory, and pair perfectly with everything else. This BBQ set really is a great value and feels like a symphony of flavors that come together perfectly into one well orchestrated meal for two. We haven't tried the other dishes, though I want to try... but that combo Kalbi set keeps calling to me and I can never resist.

We thought the $18 lunch special sounded like a good value already, to say nothing of how surprised we were by the HUGE portions that came out. We got 2 meals out of it, so for less than $10 a meal, this is an amazing value. I got the Donkasu bowl, my husband got Tteokbokki. Everything was perfect. Their kimchi is super sauced up, which I love, but it could be a lot spicier, which is truly my only complaint about our whole meal. You can add a drink for $2.50 to your meal. We got Danang Coffee and it was delicious. If we are ever in Aliso Viejo again we'd love to return.

I'm from Sacramento so the Irvine spectrum center is comparable to the fountains at Roseville or the Palladio in Folsom in the sac area. We ordered popcorn chicken, french fries and drinks (mainly for the kids) and to get a snack since we were hungry. Inside has a few tables, which there were one or two other customers inside dining. Inside the space was pretty messy. It looks like the workers did not have time to clean since there were crumbs and bits of trash. I'm glad we didn't dine in. For the food, since it's made to order, we waited just over 15 minutes for the fried foods. It came out piping hot, which we didn't really get to enjoy since by then, our table at din Tai Fung was ready. So we brought it with us. The chicken was really good. It was seasoned well and they even gave us a seasoning packet to add more flavor to the popcorn chicken. I'll go back if I'm in this area and want boba and popcorn chicken.

Although I appreciate all the questions, they got annoying after a while, especially when they gave several options for how much ice you wanted in the drink. They also have Pepsi, which I don't care for, but worse, they only had Pepsi Zero, which, frankly, is just gross tasting. So settled for root beer. When we finished ordering, the total for 2 people was $35! That was for one combo, an entree, and another drink. Then we sat and waited. And waited. In fact, we waited long enough to try a different table, as the first one was by the door and it was hot outside. So we tried a booth, and immediately plopped down on a bench that was way too low for the table. Back to the old table. While we were waiting, we weren't a fan of the music. I used Shazam and figured out it was a female K-pop group. I'm sure kids love it, but it's not my taste. Looking around, the place needs a remodel and a paint job. Chips are all over the walls and corners. It looked like someone tried to paint the walls, but the color didn't quite match. The drain for the soda machine needs a very deep cleaning. They do have a status screen that tells you when your order is ready, which is nice. Then the food. I ordered the 2-piece chicken combo. It didn't look anything like the pictures. The roll is a hamburger bun! I tried the chicken, and well, blech. I thought I would attempt to make a sandwich, but that was worse. Although the chicken was moist, the breading had more texture than taste, and the texture just wasn't good. The curly fries (à la Arby's style) were limp and not crunchy at all. The root beer was good, as I like the Stubborn brand, but the lid was so weird to drink from; it was hard not to spill on my shirt. I ate maybe 1/2 the order because I was starving, but threw the rest away.

You will pick up way better quality chicken fingers at their hot bar for about the same price. The taste is exactly the same, but the quality is just unmatched comparing to this place. So now I can say I've been here tried this, but will never be back and I don't recommend this. Also, what's up with that itty bitty tiny side of coleslaw?
