    This is the great employee

We had a great experience here we were greeted with hellos and smiles as soon as walking through the door and there was a very pleasant young man named Jordan who helped us pick what to get for our first time and was very patient with everything asked and requested by my family and I. Would definitely recommend Jordan as a great employee and my family and I will be back again.

Stopped by at this location (been to other location in Hollywood) and it tastes exactly the same. The angry Mac always hits. A good mixture of fries, Mac, and chicken. Friendly workers and fast service. Lots of seating and tv's playing sports by the "bar" area. Angry Mac 5/5 Two chopped tenders with Mac & Cheese under a then crispy seasoned fries under the Mac. Safe heat level in my opinion is Mild or Medium. Not too hot but it is a nice kick. If you're in the area definitely stop by!

The food was AMAZING. If you're not a fan of spice it's best to stick with mild because even the medium spice level was very spicy. However I LOVED it! The first time I went I got the tenders and the people I was with got the angry Mac.. I tried it and had to go back the next day to get it because it was SOOOO good. I'm convinced everything on the menu is amazing. This place will be my first stop every time I visit Cali!!

Was walking by this place and, despite my better judgement, was tempted to try the Angry-level chicken. The interior of the restaurant was super cool and the music was hip and trendy. Worker Cody had me sign a waiver online before putting in my order: An Angry chicken tender with Mac and Cheese. I got water to prepare for the challenge and waited for my food, which came out quickly. ...Guys, Capsaicin pepper is no joke. One bite and I was DYING. The spice immediately numbed my tongue and made it impossible to speak. Cody saw me struggling and came to the rescue with a cup of milk and some kind words of encouragement. I ordered a regular chicken tender with sauce right after that, which was a pleasantly delicious and refreshing after my near-death experience with the spicy monstrosity they called Angry chicken. That milk saved my life tbh. Thanks so much for the excellent service, Cody!!!!! YOU THE BEST! :)

Called in ahead of time to place an order to save time, however, items DID NOT GET MADE upon arrival. The receipt even says "don't make" ???? Waitress even said there was no order put in. Great food but management needs to reassess service being provided

If your in the mood for a good spicy chicken sandwich this is the place... I heard about this place and decided to stop by I ordered a #1 with heat level angry but the guy taking my order talked me out of it he said I had to sign a waiver..lol so I was like ok let me just try the X-hot and that was my biggest mistake lol when I tell you it was hot this sandwich was hot first bite it was good juicy and not dry like some places but then it hit me I was sweating and my mouth was on fire..lol but I did finally finish it I will never get that heat level again but over all it was a good sandwich and there Angry Mac is so good I had to take that to good and eat it at home cause my mouth and lips was on fire from the sandwich I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures of my food but I will definitely be back it's worth the pain...lol

Ask the Community - Angry Chickz

Is the chicken here spicy or not spicy?

It can be so spicy you'll regret everything. And very mild. The angry Mac is my favorite.

Is there anywhere we can see all the ingredients to the items on the menu? Like on the slider, what's actually on there? What are all the sauces shown? Are they all very hot?

yes you can get hot or not hot

I'm an extra-pickles kind of person, so I was more than happy to add even more! The fries were hot and seasoned well. I personally prefer my fries on the saltier side, so I added a little extra salt, but that's just my preference. One thing that really stood out was the customer service. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and made the experience enjoyable from the moment I walked in. You can tell they take pride in serving fresh food, and the quality definitely shows. The restaurant was clean, the restrooms are available for customers only, and there was plenty of parking, which made the visit easy and convenient. They also had great music playing with a mix of throwback hits that added to the fun atmosphere. If you're craving a fresh, flavorful smash burger, this location is definitely worth checking out. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

There were a couple of of people in front of us ordering & the restaurant itself was completely empty. After ordering, we were told it would be a 15 minute wait time. Not too bad, so we decide to wait inside to dine in the restaurant. It was a hot day and the ventilation inside the restaurant was not working well with the hot fryers going off. And we definitely felt the warmth in there. We also ordered some soda, which was just a soda machine with some lemonade dispensers on the side. The mango lemonade was horrendous and way out of balance. The "soda" was basically tasteless carbonation as if they forgot to refill the soda machine with the soda syrup. After 30 minutes, we noticed that they were fulfilling the big ticket online/delivery orders first. We were STILL the only people at the restaurant WITHOUT food. All of this would have been annoying but acceptable if the food was good. However, it was very unremarkable. The food was somehow salty but flavorless, despite the considerable amount of spice. The chicken was more oil than crunch. We ordered the crimson burrito, chicken and waffles, and half a dozen chicken wings. 2 stars because the crimson burrito was somewhat enjoyable and the sauce was good.

The service could've been a little more friendly. The young guy working at the register didn't say much and didn't seem to really promote the menu, even after I told him it was my first time there. I was really excited to try the food here with my friend. I was in the mood for whole pieces of chicken and I'm so glad I chose the half chicken plate. The plate comes with two sides and there were a few options to choose from. I selected a side salad and roasted lemon garlic potatoes. I was trying to be a little more healthy. Otherwise, I probably would've chosen the french fries. The dressing on the salad was really good and all of the ingredients were fresh. I really liked the pickled red onions that came with the salad. The potatoes were alright. The plate also comes with a large soft pita. And the garlic sauce was just right with everything . It's fast-casual, but everything was clean, the food came out quickly, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. We tried the bulgogi bowl, soft tofu soup, the muscat grape lemonade, and the pomegranate lemonade. The grape lemonade was such a fun surprise--it uses Asian muscat grape instead of the artificial "American grape" flavor we're used to. It's a rare flavor to find and was honestly so refreshing. Both lemonades came out beautifully presented with fresh fruit, which was a really nice touch. The soft tofu soup was excellent. The broth had a rich, silky mouthfeel and tasted homemade rather than like it was made from one of the premade soup bases. It was deeply flavorful without being overwhelming. Everything was served piping hot, exactly as these dishes should be. The bulgogi bowl was also delicious and came with a very generous portion of beef. Serving sizes overall were huge--both of us ate until we were full and still had enough leftovers to take home. Prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. If you've been wanting to try Korean food but weren't sure where to start, I think this is a fantastic introduction. Authentic flavors, generous portions, friendly people, and a great value. We'll definitely be back.

I love their Kalbi set which is plenty of food for my husband and me to share. We have tried the combo set with unmarinated brisket + Kalbi and thought the Kalbi was perfectly tender and tastefully seasoned, but the brisket was a bit tough and chewy. The second time, we ordered the combo set with Kalbi + bulgogi and we loved it so much that we went back a third time and ordered the same thing and loved it the third time as well. The bulgogi was tender and flavorful and went well with the lettuce and tasty ssamjang (thick chili/bean paste dipping sauce). The soft tofu it comes with was also a welcome part of the meal and all of the banchan side dishes were also excellent. Some Korean restaurants serve banchan dishes that are all cloyingly sweet, but at Nasung, all of the banchans are fresh, well balanced, savory, and pair perfectly with everything else. This BBQ set really is a great value and feels like a symphony of flavors that come together perfectly into one well orchestrated meal for two. We haven't tried the other dishes, though I want to try... but that combo Kalbi set keeps calling to me and I can never resist.

Although I appreciate all the questions, they got annoying after a while, especially when they gave several options for how much ice you wanted in the drink. They also have Pepsi, which I don't care for, but worse, they only had Pepsi Zero, which, frankly, is just gross tasting. So settled for root beer. When we finished ordering, the total for 2 people was $35! That was for one combo, an entree, and another drink. Then we sat and waited. And waited. In fact, we waited long enough to try a different table, as the first one was by the door and it was hot outside. So we tried a booth, and immediately plopped down on a bench that was way too low for the table. Back to the old table. While we were waiting, we weren't a fan of the music. I used Shazam and figured out it was a female K-pop group. I'm sure kids love it, but it's not my taste. Looking around, the place needs a remodel and a paint job. Chips are all over the walls and corners. It looked like someone tried to paint the walls, but the color didn't quite match. The drain for the soda machine needs a very deep cleaning. They do have a status screen that tells you when your order is ready, which is nice. Then the food. I ordered the 2-piece chicken combo. It didn't look anything like the pictures. The roll is a hamburger bun! I tried the chicken, and well, blech. I thought I would attempt to make a sandwich, but that was worse. Although the chicken was moist, the breading had more texture than taste, and the texture just wasn't good. The curly fries (à la Arby's style) were limp and not crunchy at all. The root beer was good, as I like the Stubborn brand, but the lid was so weird to drink from; it was hard not to spill on my shirt. I ate maybe 1/2 the order because I was starving, but threw the rest away.
