I really enjoy their food here and the option to order online. Today I walked in on a whim and was quoted 15-20 minutes to get my food. 30 mins pass and I go to check and they tell me 15 more minutes but then the worker sees my order and says oh it's ready let me bag it. Same thing w my sister in laws order, they literally called her name and she goes up and they tell her 15 more minutes when they had just called her name. My bf goes up at this point and tell the worker doing order to do better. Denisse then comes to talk to me and tell me she's manager when she is the shift lead and starts being argumentative talking about us disrespecting her employee by telling him to do better. In all reality all I ask for is for them to keep track of orders better. For future reference I will be ordering online. Meh. Not worth the hype or line. Minimal seating because a lot of people order to go and take up the seats that rarely are wiped down. Food was hot, hope so after waiting 20mins. They yell every order out when it's ready and if you don't come quick enough use a megaphone, not a very relaxing environment. read more

I went to see what the hype was about. I went at rush hour so there was a lot of people which is understandable but I feel like the wait time wasn't justified. The line to place my order wasn't too long and it took me about 5 minutes to get my order taken which was pretty good considering they had a line. However, from the time I had my order taken to when I got my food it was 32 minutes which isn't exactly fast in a fast food joint, which is meant to be you know- fast. Again, I understand there was a packed house and many customers waiting but many other complaints here on yelp is that there's a lot of workers just standing around and I can attest to that. Anyway, I got home and the portions were okay. I got the 3rd spice level which the guy warned me that it was spicy. I am used to spice and like salsas on my tacos, pozole, etc. the chicken was spicy BUT it was spicy for the sake of being spicy. The spice has to add and enhance the flavor of the food and elevate it to another level. If all it does is numb your tastebuds and mask everything else then it's not really good in my opinion. I picked off some pieces that had little spice on them and the chicken itself was kinda bland. The fries were good but it's hard to mess up seasoned fries. Maybe if I got a lower spice level it would've been good but the level I got which was the 3rd spiciest was just spicy for the sake of being spicy and lacked flavor. Maybe I'll give it a try another time but as of now probably won't be going back soon. read more

Food was good, but a little pricey($48+ tip) Portions made up for the price. We got the #3 (spicey) and an angry Mac bowl (mild spice), side of Mac and cheese, and 2 drinks. I really enjoyed the Mac and cheese as well as the fries. Everything was seasoned well but I felt like the angry Mac was missing something, maybe some crunchy greens would be good. The line was long but fast. Their soda machine was flat but customer service was great. The ambiance was okay, it definitely gave modern country vibes. I was skeptical about this place because im not a spicy food person but, we had to try the hype so we ordered 3 kinds of bowl, mild, medium, hot. The one with fries (mild) is the best for me. That sauce though! Cant get enough of it. Place is new so everything was clean and nice. We went after lunch so the place isn't packed like it usually is. I went with my friends they tried to tell me I couldn't order no fries and extra Mac for my bowl ,I have gotten it every time with an extra charge. they tried to tell me I had to order a whole other side of Mac on the side I went to this location last week and I got it so I don't understand why she looked at me like i didn't know. Angry chicks, Salinas food was good so fresh, but I had a better experience with the night crew then I did with the mornimgcrew. At night I never have to ask for anything like sauce or utensils or napkins in the morning. The atmosphere is nice but the store is clean. The customer service is good. The seating is nice. The drink fountain is nice, but the food is like Jack-in-the-Box type of food. The tenders are not crunchy. They are like chewy and if you're going to a Nashville, hot type of place like this you want to have chicken with crunch for the sandwiches a.k.a. the sliders. It is a chicken tender with a soggy bun. The sauce is not good at all. It taste like old mayo and ketchup. The fries are good, but this place is not good at all and is below average food, you will be better off going to Carlito's crispy chicken and I can bet on that you will not be disappointed. Well I wanted untill the hype of the grand opening was over still waited roughly 20 mins to order and another 20 mins to get my food... now I ordered a mild and my husband a medium... they were not labeled and they both looked the same had to bite into it to find out who's was who's . We have been anticipating the opening of this new restaurant in Salinas forever and eagerly waiting for something to be our regular go to spot. Oh wow the first impression was NOT Pleasant! So the food was good. The service was HORRIBLE. They had a huge bucket of ice on the food counter, as the ice machine was not working properly. Then they moved the bucket to the floor by the soda machine and let customers all put their cups/hands into to get their own ice. Since the ice machine was not working the soda was flat, as it messes with the calibration. So I asked Meli (manager) for a refund of our sodas and explained to her what was happening. She was rude and did not want to hear what I was saying. Oh Meli I hope you get a chance to see this because I have included a little FYI from the internet. "Yes, if the ice machine on a soda dispenser is not working properly, it can indirectly affect the calibration of the beverage dispensing by not adequately cooling the syrup and carbonated water lines, potentially leading to over-dispensing or inconsistent beverage temperatures, which would require recalibration to correct." Such a disappointment. Also, this is the sort of thing that will get you shutdown or involve the health department. read more
