Food was tasty but super slow when it was not that busy. Not sure what happened by people who came later got their orders before me. A short stop turned into a long wait. Disappointed

    Combo #1 : sliders & fries

Frankie was great, he promptly welcomed us. The menu is clear and understandable. My boyfriend and I both ordered the combo #1, one in country and one in medium. Both came with two "sliders" and a side of fries. The sliders were giant (basically the size of a normal chicken sandwich). Fries were crunchy and yummy. And service was pretty quick considering how busy they were. Ambiance is great, lots of seating options both inside and outside. Good lighting. Music was kinda loud, making it difficult to hear orders being called out, BUT they played great music. (Shoutout to whoever was on aux). Overall, satisfied with my first experince here, and would come back again in the future.

Wasn't sure what to get so decided on choosing something I haven't had in a while. Ended up getting the Angry Mac with a side of extra sauce. 16 almost 17$'s filled to the brim at that the lid kind of popped off with a little tug. Was expecting some sort of coleslaw but I clearly didn't read the menu right but was surprised with fries underneath. Pretty good nothing mind blowing or astonishing. Customer service was good and friendly. The store was very clean didn't stay inside but would have if I wasn't trying to avoid people.

I had to see what all of the hype was about! I came in during lunch rush and even after the store being open for a week, the line was out of the door, but it moved quickly. The indoor area is very spartan, with a couple of tvs playing sports on the wall. Staff did come by and clean every 10 minutes or so. As for the food itself, I ordered the number 3, which was a tender (hot) and a slider (medium) and fries with a drink. The hot seasoning took me out. Incredibly too hot. I couldn't finish it. The medium slider was great, and the potato bun was soft. I wish they toasted the bun. The fries have a kick of either the mild or medium seasoning. The sauce has that zaxby/chik-fil-a feel to it. Overall, I'd come back for the medium or mild sliders. Price: $22.42

    2 sliders, fries

Yesterday was our first time ordering online, didn't go well at first. Part of my order was wrong. Ordered the two sliders with fries, 1 slider mild with no coleslaw and pickles on the side. Other slider was medium with everything in it. When I picked it up and got home both sliders didn't have coleslaw and therefore there was no telling which was which. I called and was informed to take food and talk to the manager. The manager that was there was very kind and said I could get a refund or a fix in the order, which I preferred the latter. It didn't take long for them to fix it; took about 5 minutes max. While wait in the ambiance seemed pretty good, many people seemed to enjoy their food there along with good music. I did check the plate again before I got home and seemed in order. We really enjoyed our food. I wouldn't recommend ordering online if you have to make an order 'custom' or many fixes like we did. We really enjoy Angry Chickz even though it is expensive but it is good chicken in my opinion. I do have to say that it is better than Popeyes.

Got the sliders and fries tonight, one hot and one medium, they were pretty good. I'd get it again. I got take out but from what I saw the dining area was clean. I didn't interact with the staff very much but the little bit that I did was pleasant.

Had to show up and support opening weekend. The food was fantastic and the service was quick during grand opening. I will definitely return again soon.

I love angry chickz so much. So good, so affordable. One slider is 7 dollars and is lowkey big enough to be a entree. I took off a star because they forgot my Mac and cheese which I paid for :( but other than that my meal was great!

    so yummy in my tummy

food was BUSS, service was amazing, such a clean and fun place like this booth, love 10/10. We love our cashier Jaena S and the cooks who made this glorious meal.

Went to Angry Chickz in Salinas and it was really good. The food was fire and the service was great. The place had a nice vibe too. I'd definitely come back.

I'm super excited that we finally got an angry chickz and was excited about the Mac and cheese. The mac and cheese was creamy, flavorful, and had the perfect balance of cheesy goodness with a hint of spice. The portion size was generous, and it was packed. However, I did notice that there wasn't much chicken mixed in with the mac and cheese. This was a bit disappointing considering the name and my expectations for a chicken-focused restaurant. I understand they've recently opened, and they seemed to be handling a high volume of customers when I went. It's likely that the limited chicken was due to the demand they're working to keep up with. I'm hopeful that as they settle into their groove, the portions will become more consistent. Overall its a good experience, but I'm looking forward to seeing how they improve as they grow

Honestly I don't get the hype, probably for the spice but I'd rather get a chicken sandwich from jack in the box.

From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind, which made the whole experience even better. I ordered the Double Chicken Pesto, and it was easily the highlight of my visit. The sandwich was served warm, which made a big difference. The pesto added a rich, savory flavor and all of the ingredients worked well together. The bread though! Crisp and nicely crunchy on the outside, yet soft and fresh on the inside. It had that perfect texture you hope for in a sourdough sandwich and elevated the experience. My son ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad along with a cup of clam chowder. The salad had a generous portion of chicken, lots of croutons for extra crunch, and a Caesar dressing that was creamy and flavorful. They also included two sides of dressing, which was great for anyone who likes a well-coated salad. My son ended up asking for a third. The clam chowder was decent overall. It wasn't the best we've had compared to some of the chowder spots in Monterey, where the standard is pretty high, but it was still warm, satisfying, and worth trying as part of the meal. Overall, Sourdough Company delivered fresh food, solid portions, quality bread, and excellent customer service. If you are looking for a satisfying sandwich or casual lunch spot with friendly staff, this is definitely a place worth visiting. We'd happily return to for lunch.

8/10 I ordered the…read moreSupercharger and the Belair, and overall both sandwiches were solid, filling and generously packed. Starting with the Supercharger, this was easily the standout of the two. It's loaded with roast beef, bacon, turkey, ham, salami, pepperoncini, tomatoes, red onions, gouda cheese, and chipotle aioli on a ciabatta roll. They definitely don't skimp on the meat, which makes it super satisfying. The combination of the soft ciabatta and cheese worked really well together and balanced out the heaviness of the meats. My only complaint is that it could've used a bit more sauce, something like extra mustard or mayo would've taken it to the next level. Still, a strong 8.5/10. The Belair was decent but didn't quite hit the same level. It came with turkey breast, bacon, gouda cheese, spring mix, tomatoes, red onions, pepperoncini, and chipotle aioli on fresh sliced sourdough. Ours actually came with American cheese instead of gouda, which slightly changed the flavor profile. It was a good sandwich overall, but noticeably drier, especially with the sourdough, so it definitely needed more sauce to bring everything together. I'd give it a 7.2/10. Service was fast and efficient, which I appreciated. The ambiance stood out too, it has a cool retro gas station vibe that gives the place some personality and makes it feel unique. Staff was friendly, and the overall experience was smooth.

The trip was completely spontaneous since we had been in Big Sur earlier that day, but it ended up being well worth the drive. I never would've expected this market to be tucked away at the end of a residential street, but once you get close, you can smell the food before you even arrive. The sandwich was incredible...huge enough that we had to share it. The meat was so juicy it was literally dripping down my fingers, and I made an absolute mess eating it. I would definitely return.
