So, outside of the fact that I wish this was located in Lodi, we loved the food. Hubby got the #1 Combo- 2 Sliders. I got the Hangry Fix Bowl. So so good. I'd rank this high up on the Fried Chicken Sandwich places to go. The gal that took our order was awesome, and very helpful as we were trying to figure out what to order. The restaurant is casual, spacious, very clean. We would have dined in had we not been in a hurry to get back home. I do a lot of work lunches and am planning to try their catering soon. read more

Very clean and tidy location. The team behind the counter were very friendly and welcomed us as soon as we walked up to the counter. My kids ordered the #2 mild & medium without pickles. The chicken tenders were very flavorful and the spice level was packing a punch. The French fries were crispy and pairs well with the tenders. Great place for lunch or dinner. Ordered the bowl with chicken,mac and cheese and rice but sadly felt deceived as they overfilled it with rice. Portions were not even and would have really preferred more Mac and cheese and chicken. In this case the rice technically makes the bowl. Enjoyed the food but wasn't big on the rice flavor either as it was pretty bland compared to everything else. For those of you who love jasmine rice though, have at it! My boyfriend had the chicken sandwich and states it was delicious, juicy and that you're better off getting that off their very limited menu. I recently visited Angry Chicks in Stockton during my lunch break, and while I have to say the chicken is absolutely delicious -- flavorful, crispy, and cooked perfectly -- the customer service could definitely use improvement. During my visit through the drive-through, I clearly requested honey, sauce, and ketchup to go with my meal. Unfortunately, when I got back to work and checked my order, none of the condiments I asked for were included. Since I was on my lunch break, I didn't have time to go back and correct the issue, which was disappointing. In my opinion, good customer service means paying attention to each customer's order, especially when condiments are requested to enhance the meal. It's a small detail that makes a big difference in the overall experience. They really should remind customers to try the angry chicks sauce. I was so disappointed when I got home and there was no angry chicks sauce in my bag for my tender. I spent $11 on a side of Mac and cheese and a tender and I was craving it with the angry chicks sauce. Which yes, I forgot as well to ask for it but usually they throw it in there. Nashville hot chicken! I have been hearing rumblings around this place and wanted to give it a try. First and foremost, I do not like most condiments and sauces so when I heard their big gimmick was the sauce (like canes and I do not like canes) I wa la very skeptical. I ordered the 2 tenders on toast with fries (1 medium and 1 hot). I gotta say the chicken tenders were a big size and were piping hot! The hot flavor was pretty hot, had a really good taste and the temperature of the chicken made it feel even hotter! The medium is about what you would expect from a medium. The fries were like battered fries and had a nice crunch. Overall its your pretty standard hot chicken strip spot. I do want to go back to try the Mac and cheese. read more

Delicious. Medium is spicy enough and plenty of flavor. Hot is pretty hot. It's accurately labeled. I can imagine angry means if you try to eat it, then you might be angry! First off let's hope these tenders are worth the price! It's $5 for a tender, slice of white bread and pickle. This is how tenders are sold if you want extra tenders. Next I hope that the food holds well traveling home from ordering your food to go. I'm clear across the side of town from where Angry Chickz is located. So let's hope the food travels well and tastes good. We got 4 number 3's. 2 mild and 2 medium. The number 3 comes with tender sandwich with coleslaw, 1 tender and fries ($15 a combo). We also ordered 3 extra tenders all medium ($5 each). 2 sides of Mac n cheese ($5 each), 1 fry ($4) . All was $97.79 and we didn't order drinks. You help yourself to sauce. There is honey and ketchup as well. No hot sauce or lemon when asked. Again let's hope it travels well and the flavor is worth the price. So first off the food doesn't travel well. The fries were all fairly soggy and the bread especially on the bottom of sandwich was very soggy . The coleslaw spilled out of the sandwich the tender lost it crispness. The Mac n cheese was slight warm, cheesy but not wet. But it didn't have much flavor it was a very bland tasting Mac n cheese. The mild tender was spicy but not overly I'm sure if it was eaten fresh at the place it would have had a crispy crunch to the breading. There was fairly good flavoring along with the heat on the tender. Just keep in mind the food doesn't travel well, it will be soggy and lose the crispness that it should have had. Based on the fact that the food wasn't HOT or crispy, but barley warm and soggy. Along with the price of the food. It's a 2.5 - 3 stars. Just not sure the price is worth coming back for to try in store for a fresh meal. read more

It was our first time visiting this spot went through the drive-thru my daughter got a kick out of it because the chicken was dabbing me personally I don't think I would go back the drink was $2.50 and it looked like it was a 16 oz it could have been bigger for $2.50 it should have been a large drink like 32 oz the chicken was juicy I felt my fries were overcooked I got country style no heat my daughter got mild as soon as I opened it up I can smell it it was spicy I can't do it personally but you should give it a try. read more

Over all 6.5/10 review. I got the Combo #3 The chicken sandwich(chicken sliders) were a 5.5/10 they were messy and the buns were sorta soggy but the chicken tender was tasty along with the slaw and pickles it honestly kept the sandwich worth it but still some major issues with it.( Would get it again) The hot chicken tenders over bread were a 7/10 they basically switched the buns for a piece of white bread and honestly since they remove the slaw you get to taste the flavor of the chicken tender more that's why I give it a higher rating then the sandwich.(Would prefer this than the chicken slider/chicken sandwich) The fries were still crunchy and crisp when I ate it so a 8/10 they also gave a little spice seasoning on them as well. I got the spice level at Angry which is the hottest and honestly I'm disappointed it's not even spicy enough to compare with the Burger King Spicy(no longer on sale) Deluxe Sandwich when it came out. If you are planning to go to get a kick for the SPICE don't it's not spicy but if you just like Chicken Tenders and anything related to that I recommend you try it!!! read more

Those sliders were amazing! very spicy and very very tasty. The fries were awesome. The place was pretty empty. I took my wife and son. They ate some kinda Mac n cheese bowl. I tried it and it was awesome. I'll be back. Probably my favorite hot chicken sandwich ive had so far. Ive had a few down in LA. still need to try Nash n tender. First, somehow the person who took our order, repeated everything and STILL got it wrong & charged us for an extra tray. Secondly, they made fries and put them in the trays and then put the chicken in 20 minutes later. I am NOT exaggerating with the 20 minute timeframe. Thirdly, I have been to the Angry Chickz in Sacramento a few times and have NEVER had an issue with them, but the medium at this Angry Chickz was very hot. I've been here twice now. I've tried Medium, Hot and XHot. Medium seems to be nice and spicy. Hot is very Hot and XHot is levels above what is tolerable. The staff always seems very nice and present. I've ordered in the Drive Thru and inside. The restaurant is clean inside and cool. The Sliders are really good. The fries are also very good. I'm looking forward to trying other stuff from the menu.Also, the Combo #1 is huge. The sliders are big. It's enough for 2 people. The biggest Con is the location.
