A great place to stop if you're in the area running errands. I loved the fresh variety of veggies and entrees they had at this location. The staff were very attentive to make sure our order was taken care of & everyone got what they needed. The other day when I was there there was one girl and she was in way over her head it was a busy night and she was bussing tables ringing people up bringing people drinks and I know she was overwhelmed. There needs to be two people at all times one to buss and ring people up and the other to wait tables. We didn't get our drinks until after we finished eating. First of all, I wanna say the negative stars has nothing to do with the people that work there and they should be applauded yesterday. It was pretty busy when we showed up and Irwin the cook went above and beyond to help us to get our food & to make it an enjoyable experience . however it took way too long, so while I was standing there. Ask him. Hey they need another Cook to help you and he said " sorry that's not something I can control. I apologize but you know it's expensive to hire another cook. " but they're making a lot of money and that means the owner is just being cheap. Not in love with that. You should have another cook if you're making That much money . My order a lone was $70 and that's only for three people. The average group size in line behind us had three people that means you're making $70 per group. You can afford another cook that you're paying $20 an hour for . I mean we were in line for 40 minutes or something while we waited. It was enjoyable watching and waiting for our order to be cooked but we shouldn't have to wait that long. It's supposed to be a fast food and the fact that you don't have enough people when they're spending that much. Money is crazy. there. In fact, we're only two workers last night & behind us there was a whole line and before us there was a whole line that place stays busy and that's not fair to your workers. They're running around doing everything trying to just keep up and the cooks job should be cooking. The cashiers job should be cashiering. There should be a middleman, but there's not and while the two employees that were there we're very attentive. It's not fair to them . So maybe it is expensive to hire cook but you can go there. and you need to go to work if you don't wanna hire another worker and work yourself so you can see what they do because it's a lot of work you're asking somebody's gonna end up getting hurt because they couldn't wash the counters. The counters were disgusting, soaked in sauce, and just the whole counter was covered and there was a bunch of things that should've been out like for instance there was no turkey. There was no mushrooms. There was no house sauce. This is not your workers fault. They did a great job with what they had to work with and they did accommodate once asked but they shouldn't have to be asked. There should be a worker out there to help in the middle at least and there should've been two cooks. They didn't have the time to do it. We went here when they literally just opened so obviously it was nice and clean. I do however have to say it is the cleanest GK we have gone to. Staff were friendly and helpful which is always very pleasant. The veggies looked clean and fresh at this GK as well. I like how the cook is engagble towards the customers. I always feel awkward with the cooks because they don't always look happy to see the customers lol. We will definitely start going to this GK from now on. We prefer this location as well. The food area was absolutely filthy and you couldn't fill your bowl without stepping on food. The sauce area was equally dirty. The biggest blow for me however was the fact that they no longer serve the sweet sesame biscuits here anymore. I asked and they said that only the West Lane location has them. I don't really care for the soup or the fried wontons and I don't eat the rice since I'm already having noodles, so I felt like what I spent wasn't really worth it for a bowl of noodles with meat and veggies. They do serve potstickers now instead of the biscuits but those were deep fried as well so I passed. I went here twice in the span of 3 days (I really missed it!), both days about 10 minutes from when they opened. I am so happy this location is out on 8 mile - it's very spacious & clean (minus the restroom). At first we were confused on what to do, nobody was telling us to sit down. After a minute of looking around, the host/appetizer runner told us to just get started. This happened on both occasions we came, the second time, an older couple was in front of us and had never been to a MBBQ before so we showed them the way! The food area was clean and everything looked super fresh! As long as the starting ingredients are spot on, it's your fault if your dish sucks - you made it!!! Food was great . Service was beyond exceptional. The manager Dan was very friendly , he provided great service and so did the rest of the staff. Boxes were offered before I had a chance to ask for them. Although we came in late right before closing the staff still went out of their way to make sure all the Ingredients were available to us. After a long community day for Pokemon Go, my friends and I were starving. I recommended we try this location's GK as we had a bad experience (not restocking ingredients and dirty) with the one on March, near Marshall's. I have to say that this location is noticably much cleaner. For 12 bucks, we had to give this dinner AYCE a try. We grabbed our bowls and started with meats, then vegetables, and lastly sauces or oils. It's pretty fun to grab your food and wait in line too. The selection of meats included beef, chicken, turkey, and pork. For vegetables, there was quite a few like broccoli and cabbage. A lot of customers seemed to enjoy the noodles because it was in almost everyone bowls! The two chefs who cooked our food were hardworking and would let you know that you needed more sauce and ask if you would like garlic powder. The sauces were pretty solid as the flavor of the meat and vegetables were fried to a great standard. Meat quality wasnt bad, and decent imo for the money. There is also rice, sweet bread, and soup, all of which you could ask more of. I would highly recommend anyone who likes Mongolian bbq to check this place out. The servers and chefs here are nice. So, we've been going here since the whole pandemic thing started. Typically have had no issues, and it was always a smooth process. After this most recent visit, we're definitely not going back. Talk about unclean, the food serving area was bad. Newly cleaned tongs still had food on them and the counter clearly hadn't been cleaned in quite a while. Then there's the sauce station. A few months back it was set up so the cooks added your sauce. Now it's self serve again, and it's a mess, and they don't clean up after people have been spilling. The worst part is we saw one girl hand the cook her bowl to cook, but in the process her bowl went over one of the sauce containers, and the sauce mixture from her bowl totally spilled into the sauce container. And the cooks never changed it despite the clear contamination. They have signs on the ground for social distancing, but they do not enforce or even encourage it. It was better earlier in the pandemic, but with the recent changes there's no way we'll be going back. Which is sad because the food albeit slow vs other similar joints, is actually pretty good. But the whole restaurant not being cleaned thing totally outweighs the food taste. Recommend you skip it, or at least order Door Dash so you don't have to see how unclean/unsanitary the restaurant is inside. read more

We went here Saturday night after a day of shopping. I LOVE the GK in Tracy but I was rather embarrassed to introduce this place to my parents. The area where the sauces were was disgustingly dirty. I saw the guy refill the garlic powder with no gloves on and his hand went into the powder. He also answered the phone while doing all this. GLOVES would be nice.
