While eating our chicken wings, we noticed one wing was raw inside. At first we were going to excuse it, but as we kept eating we became hesitant to continue checking every wing to make sure it was fully cooked. Unfortunately, we then found another raw wing. We politely brought it to an employee's attention and explained the situation nicely. Instead of addressing the seriousness of serving undercooked chicken, they only offered to remake the two wings we returned. After bringing the replacement, the manager then approached us about paying for drink cups that had already been handed to us. The issue was not about the drinks -- it was the fact that we could not even comfortably enjoy our meal because we were worried about getting sick from raw chicken. The chef knew what he was doing! This is the best Firewings location in the area; they don't disappoint! I've been here multiples times. My picture doesn't do enough justice, but the wings were a good size and seasoned exceptionally. The fries weren't too greasy. The veggie sticks were nice and crisp. The soda was bubbly. What I got was nowhere near what I ordered. There was literally more flats than drums! The wings were barely seasoned--definitely less than the normal amount, let alone "extra." I've been hearing a lot about Fire Wings and I was SO excited that Stockton was finally getting one. I love me some chicken wings (flats, please) and I'd heard nothing but good things about theirs. Now for the important part, lol-we tried the original hot-nice and tangy but not too spicy, lemon pepper-you could really taste the lemon, mango habanero-some serious kick but a little too sweet for me and finally my favorite, the BBQ. For our sides we had the garlic noodles-good but I don't know if I'd order them again and the garlic fries-absolute perfection. Crispy, garlicky goodness. My only issue here was the beverages-Pepsi products. Blech. In my opinion, wing prices are a bit high anywhere you go and these are on par with Wingstop. We took advantage of the BOGO combo meal special they had that day so it ended up being a really good deal. (2) 8 piece combo meals for about $15 since we had upgraded to garlic fries which was $1.50 more.
