Great place for spicy chicken bowls, but look out their medium is hotter than you think!

My son loves the food here. As I wait for his order I can't help but notice the flies that hang out in here. It's gross.

The food is absolutely delicious. First time going. I have all my food and medium season. Good Lord it's hot and it filled me up. I couldn't even eat the angry chicken fries. The service was great in the atmosphere and the restaurant is clean spacious. I came from Modesto to Dr. to Tracy to taste it since I had an appointment and Tracy it was good a little expensive but I guess what today's average fast food cost is right on time. The bread is nice and soft not hard not to tail really all I need was a tender my eyes are breaking in my stomach, but I'll eat the rest of my bowl for dinner. Absolutely great job guys. read more

I was out running errands today and was surprised to find that there was an Angry Chickz in town. My brother has been looking for a new go-to chicken sandwich spot so I decided to give them a try. Right off the bat, I wasn't too in love with the aesthetic of the place, it seemed kinda cheap to me. The service was kinda awkward but I'll give them a pass seeing that it's a brand new business. I'm guessing the staff hasn't gotten into the groove yet. I was able to order, get my food, and eat so everything was functional. No real complaints here. What really matters is the food. All the combos required you to get two items and this is my main gripe with the menu. You either have to get two chicken sliders, two chicken on toasts, or one of each. Unless I missed it, it doesn't seem like you could get just one on its own. This is a lot of food for one person. I got the #3 combo which gives you a chicken slider, a chicken tender on toast, and some fries. I was thinking that way I'd at least get to try one of everything. Even with all of my minor grievances, the food is pretty good. Definitely better than any fast food chicken sandwich place. I can look past any inconvenience I had today, bring my brother here, and make this a go-to. The food is that good. read more

I usually love coming here. I always get the angry mac . What caught my attention at first was the Mac was cold and after taking a few bites.....I saw a hair. It wasn't just on top of the chicken but in the Mac which is disgusting. When I brought it up the staff they acknowledged it but didn't even apologize instead they wanted their food back which is crazy to think I would lie about it. We ordered the #1 combo which came with two sliders (each was basically a full sandwich size) and a side of fries, as well as a separate order of their mac & cheese side. I have a pretty high tolerance for spicy food, so I was genuinely surprised when I found that the hot spicy level came with that much kick! Even the mild had a bit of a kick to it. The chicken itself was tender and juicy, not dry at all. The fries were well-seasoned. Ther mac & cheese tasted a bit plain like it was watered down. Their menu also has odd pricing for their angry sauce where 2 oz costs 35 cents, but 8 oz costs $2. If you want 8 oz, just get four of the 2 oz and save yourself 60 cents I guess? Even though we came at a time with a lot of customers, the service was pretty fast. Silly me, I went back after a few months thinking they would have improved. Unfortunately, The Coleslaw Conspiracy continues. They love loading you up with coleslaw to cover up their lack of actual meal. I ordered the angry fries this time and it was majority coleslaw. The 10 fries (yes, I counted) I received were buried at the bottom of the bowl covered with coleslaw so they were saggy. The meal is called angry fries so I assumed I would be getting more than the 10 fries in my bowl. I also believe they only gave me one tender, that's how little meat was in my bowl. Just tried this new place in tracy for the first time. I love spicy food and often am underwhelmed with how spicy something is advertised. I ordered the sliders in xtra hot and one angry. When they say angry... they mean angry. This one had some heat! Son had the country and husband the mild with the Mac and cheese both enjoyed theirs as well. Ordered heat level angry on the door dash app. Which is crazy because my whole family suffered from intense abdominal cramps after having just a couple of bites of the heat level angry mac bowl. If it requires a waiver to purchase in store. Why would heat level angry be offered on the door dash app. and the app. does not indicate anything about it being dangerously spicy. This is a warning to people who are using door dash. Don't buy angry or 911 unless you know exactly what you're ordering. The food was fresh, crispy, and tasty. The employees were friendly and efficient. I arrived on a Friday around 4pm and it was busy. All of the tables were taken and there were customers lining the walls waiting for there to go orders. The noise level and lighting were good. Very disappointed with Angry Chicks, their service, quality, and portions have degraded tremendously. I ordered worth of $100+ food and they only provided few in house sauces. When I asked for some extra sauces, employee named, Xavier, responded that we had pay extra for sauces. We don't mind the $0.39 or something for sauces but come on is the business going down that bad to start charging for sauces that used to be free and still are at other chains like Daves hot Chicken It seemed like Xavier was forced to work there because when we agreed to pay for extra sauces he was like you have to go back in wait in line to order extra sauces (we had already waited 30+mins for our order) one of his colleagues immediately intervened and said no I can help you guys on the other register (props to her for still having good customer service ethics). The sliders were pretty good but not evenly dressed, I didn't get a bite of pickle until my last one. I think dill pickles would be better than the sweet ones too. This place is incredible. I am so happy that they opened a location here as the closest ones previously were either in San Jose or Sacramento. These are the best Nashville hot chicken sandwiches around. Do not skip out on the fries here as they are AMAZING. Well seasoned and crunchy, they dont get any better. Be warned, the heat scale is unforgiving. Hot is pretty dang hot and I am a fan of spice and heat. It had me in tears and sweat streaming from behind my ears. The place is spacious, clean, and well lit. The bathrooms are small however. The service was good and quick for how many orders they were dealing with. The only complaint is that they assume all orders are to go, they dont even ask you, and everything gets put into to go containers.
