We ordered the big ass nachos, the chicken sandwich and the big ass burrito in a bowl. The nachos were totally amazing and way too big for us, but we have it a good old American try. They chicken sandwich was great with a spicy, but not too spicy sauce, it was just right except it was about the size of my head.. Seriously. Wings were smoked, not fried at all after the smoke, and the smoke on them was too much, tasted more like white smoke than blue smoke.. I ordered pulled pork sliders for my wife and a beef brisket sandwich for myself. My wife was extremely happy with her pulled pork while all that I can say is about my beef brisket was that it was so tender that it almost melted in my mouth. I really wanted this place to be a 5 but sadly, it fell short. We dined last night (a Wednesday night). Arrived around 5:30 and ordered a round of beers. I could tell that it was busy and there was one waitress that seemed to have her hands full with a lot of tables. We let her know that we were patient and no need to stress over our table. We ordered appetizers and another round of beers and just hung out. There was a bit of time that passed before she came back around to take our dinner orders. Again, they were busy, no big deal. We ordered more drinks but after 5-10 minutes still no refills and a bartender came by and asked us if we wanted another round. We let him know that we ordered already but he brought them out promptly for us. Then the real wait began. 40 ish minutes after ordering (all simple things such as pulled pork sandwich, a wrap, a chicken sandwich, and a pulled chicken dinner) we were starting to get antsy. Wednesday nights are kid free date nights but we have to be back to pick them up around 8. I thought we would have plenty of time but unfortunately the food took so long that my husband had to leave and didn't get the chance to finish his meal. The service was really disappointing (not our server, we really liked her) but I think they need to hire more help so customers aren't waiting for so long. When our bill came we were double charged for the third round that we placed originally with our server but the other person brought it out. Not a big deal, but after waiting so long for food it would have been nicer to not see an extra charge so we could quickly cash out. We were never offered an apology for the wait, which is fine, but it would have been nice. The beer prices are really good so we might venture back to hopefully score a waterfront table and a beer again but it seems like the wait is a common issue.
