I'm from Dallas visiting Houston and wanted to take my two year old here since she's been showing…read morean interest in cats. I love the concept and idea of a safe place for cats and us being able to play with them so we decided to take time out of our morning to check this place out. The cats were friendly, mainly sleeping but it was well maintained and looked like a clean and safe environment for the cats. The reason for my low review is due to the way the business is handling a refund which I thought would be simple and is based on a confusion with their staff members. Online, it states a reservation needs to be made so while reading the rules, we made a reservation. I signed the waiver for myself and my 2 kids and walked in first. I saw they had a 30% military discount and asked if I could get a refund and repurchase. I was told she couldn't refund but since it didn't apply online, I would be able to email them and request for the difference back. Ok, no big deal. I paid for the second adult in store since now I know, we get military discount. Fast forward, I email and they refuse to give a refund. They said online, they can't verify that we qualify for the discount which is why we can only get the discount in store. I find it extremely rude for them to continue to emphasize that discounts are not applicable to online reservation since their system can't verify it when they could just simply ask for us to send through email our ID to get the price difference back like many other businesses would. I could also send the receipt showing where they did already verify us in store and where the discount is applied in store. The employee told me I would be able to request a refund and if I can prove my eligibility, I feel like they should honor it. They did offer a complimentary visit but again, I'm from Dallas so with this bad experience, I'm not enticed to return or recommend this place.

I have seen cat cafe's and pug cafes like this all over social media, so my friend and I were…read morecurious after brunch while I was in town. We were not disappointed!! You first walk in and it is a small sitting area to switch your shoes (strange for those that don't have an Asian upbringing). It's a Korean company, and I think the front desk girl said something about it being the first of this specific company in Houston?? Anyways-- after you switch your shoes, you go inside and pay, like $20/hour to go hang out with all of these adoptable cats! If you are a first responder/teacher/student there is a small discount! You get 1 canned/bottled drink from the fridge and you get a few handfuls of freeze dried chicken to give to the kitty cats. All of their bios are on the walls, just read their collars or ask the front desk girl. TBH This was a well spent $20 for something. All proceeds go to the supplies for the care of these beautiful babies. There were like,20 something cats, but the space is big enough and they have a lot of those robot self cleaning kitty litter boxes so it does not smell strongly of cats at all! There are plenty of board games and books to read, there are plenty of places to sit and outlets for your phone or laptop. I fell in love with one cat named, "Rome" but I was unprepared to take him home to Dallas. TBH the only thing I didn't really care for was asking the front desk girl about anything-- it seemed like I was bothering her.

I initially started bringing my dog here because of the good reviews I saw online. However I…read morestopped because the last time she visited they locked her in a cage for over two hours and claimed she was the next dog to get groomed. I understand that groomers can be busy, but it would have been nice to been told that from the start that way I could have scheduled a different appointment. It was extremely disappointing to hear that even with a scheduled appointment (which I made a week in advance) that she would be locked up for over a couple minutes. My dog does not like being locked up, something that is painfully obvious if you even lock her up for a couple minutes. It feels like she was neglected the entire time she was there. Honestly if I had not called it I'm pretty sure she would have been locked up for longer. It was pretty disappointing to say the least.

I initially started bringing my dog here when it was under different management, and my experiences…read morewere consistently positive at that time. Under the current owner, I have continued using the service despite it being an expensive grooming appointment ($120 each visit), expecting the same level of care and professionalism. After picking up my dog, I noticed his eyes were very red and he could barely open them. I called to calmly ask if anything might have happened during the grooming process. This was not an accusation, simply a concerned pet owner trying to understand what may have caused the issue. I was not given any clear explanation or details, and instead the owner Henry became immediately defensive, repeatedly insisting he "doesn't keep secrets" and that nothing happened. I was interrupted multiple times while trying to explain my concern, and the conversation felt tense and dismissive. After the call ended, I heard him yell "god damn" in the background. When I called back to ensure everything was okay, he stated he was "hangry" and again insisted nothing happened. He later left a voicemail that felt erratic, repeatedly mentioning he was hungry and stressed, referencing having "a lot of pots on fires," and stating he would make a note on my account. While I understand that business ownership can be stressful and that issues can occasionally occur, the lack of transparency, combined with the emotional volatility and erratic nature of the voicemail, was concerning. It raised questions about professionalism, emotional regulation, and overall safety in how customer concerns especially regarding animal wellbeing, are handled. Because of this experience, I no longer feel comfortable returning or recommending this business.

I'm there waiting over six minutes. I have to go out and ask somebody the three ladies behind the counter that are doing absolutely nothing wouldn't help me. I asked for the manager they never called her or she never came and I donate money. This is a misuse of appropriate donation fund why hire three women behind the counter for $15 an hour which is a total of $45 an hour and they're doing nothing talking to other staff that's more important than helping people. Also when I walk through the cages, why am I seeing three or four piles of poop in the cage all the neglecting abuse would you like to lay in a pile of shit in a cage but it's OK for the three ladies to sit on their ass and do nothing I will be remembering this when it comes time to donate money next time. Maybe I should direct my money to the Houston Humane Society after all these years shameful. I only saw one person cleaning cages and it was overwhelming off so bad that I go down there and volunteer and take all three of those ladies job behind the I could save $7200 a month . . Bunch of lazy, snotty snooty disrespectful women I'm so angry in the manager. If she was called, she coward behind her desk hiding wouldn't come out and talk to me, but I don't think she was even notified. I should've got the name of the three ladies working behind the counter on Saturday around 4:30 in the afternoon. I'm quite sure the management knows who they are. Next time I think about donating money, I'm not I don't like to be treated that when there's so many people standing around doing I saw two people actually the cages.
