Who knows how often the kennels are cleaned if at all when our dogs boarded. There is a reason you can't see the kennels on their website amd when ypu pick your dogs up. The place reeks of urine. For those of you that consider your dog part of the family please read this I have never in my life…read morewritten a bad review but this one I have to do, hear me out and you be the judge. I have left my dog here many times, on the surface they have always appeared to be nice and taken care of my dog. This is an establishment that likes to know when you're going to drop off and when you're going to pick up, I completely understand that and respect it, so when I came to the kennel to pick my dog up at 3:30, because when asked I specifically said 3:30 because that's the soonest I could be there after work. There was no mention of another time. I arrived promptly at 3:30 only to find the kennel closed, so I knocked and knocked and knocked and shouted "hello is anybody there I'm here to pick up my dog" the place was dark and said closed. I was concerned and did not know what to do. The owners house is just up the hill, I decided to go and knock on the door. When she answered she said, in a very angry voice, "what are you doing here, how dare you come to my personal residence" I apologized and said I'm here to pick up my dog she said "we are closed" and I said "I told you I would be here at 3:30" she said "no you did not" I said "yes I did that's when I get off work" she said "we're closed, I told you to come at 4:10" and I said "I'm sorry you didn't, I wouldn't have come if you said any other time" she said "you better stop talking now just give me a minute I will meet you down at the kennel" so I walked down to the kennel and when she came walking up I apologized again and she said "don't talk to me, I am entitled to a break you shouldn't be here" I agreed and apologized again literally with tears in my eyes I tried to tell her again that no other time was told to me, she said "you better just stop talking right now". Before I left I said "listen I'm sorry, there was obviously some miscommunication and I'm sorry to interrupt you" she said "I don't think you are"!! I am here to tell you I am not a liar and I absolutely do not take advantage of people. She did not even want to try to work this out or accept the chance there was any miscommunication. She may have had a really bad day or a bad week but a person that talks to you like that I think she just might miss handle the animals as well. She lost a repeat customer and all recommendations. I went home and checked the time, I keep very good notes, It said drop off at 4:30 and pick up at 3:30!! There was no miscommunication on my part.

They go out of their way to make sure that they work within your schedule they give you a reminder to confirm your appointment they send you a text message before they arrive I've had several different groomers in each of them has taken such good care of my little one and he always comes out looking wonderful smells great and he is so happy. I had 2 appointments scheduled over a month in advance and both were canceled at the last minute…read more One was for a co worker emergency and the other time the girl who was going to do my dogs hair cut quit, or went back to school or something. I was told they now cannot accept my mobile appointment after 3pm and they do not do mobile appointments on the weekends. I was told to take my pups to the silverdale shop....which I almost did...but my dogs need quiet spaces and less anxiety. That's why I booked this service the first few times, and I personally dont feel canceling twice in a row (2 solid months in a row) is acceptable. I can get out of work early, but the earliest I could have the dogs ready was by 3pm.... or ANYtime on Friday's, which is when my appointments were scheduled. Basically they have mobile grooming available until 3pm Monday - Friday. Plan on going to the salon, or have back up plans in case they cancel. Waste of time and waiting for something that never happened. Find another service or "get the in" somewhere else. I truely wish I had not waited and continued to attempt to use this service after the first cancelation. Unhelpful service that I would no longer call "mobile grooming".

I am embarrassed for this firm. And for the poor groomer the owner sent out today…read more 10 days ago, I submitted an online request for an appointment for my two dogs. A few days later, Aloha responded with a text message saying my request was approved, and that someone would reach out to me to schedule. Nobody did. So we took our dogs elsewhere. Today, a lovely young lady arrived in the Aloha grooming van. I felt so bad for her, having to explain that we were never notified, and that we'd already sought services elsewhere. She was so polite and apologetic. She also said, "This happens a lot." Which tells me all I need to know. To the owner: Seriously, do better! You can't just show up on a random Saturday and expect your customers to adjust to your schedule. You have to contact and CONFIRM with your customers any appointments. You could have saved yourself the cost, and your employee the embarrassment, with simple communication effort. Business is intentional, not a hobby to do casually. Figure out how to communicate better before your business ends up in the toilet. Or close down now and spare us all from the effects of your inability to provide basic customer service. Sad that I have to write this, but others need to know this happened, and happens often.
