I am embarrassed for this firm. And for the poor groomer the owner sent out today. 10 days ago, I submitted an online request for an appointment for my two dogs. A few days later, Aloha responded with a text message saying my request was approved, and that someone would reach out to me to schedule. Nobody did. So we took our dogs elsewhere. Today, a lovely young lady arrived in the Aloha grooming van. I felt so bad for her, having to explain that we were never notified, and that we'd already sought services elsewhere. She was so polite and apologetic. She also said, "This happens a lot." Which tells me all I need to know. To the owner: Seriously, do better! You can't just show up on a random Saturday and expect your customers to adjust to your schedule. You have to contact and CONFIRM with your customers any appointments. You could have saved yourself the cost, and your employee the embarrassment, with simple communication effort. Business is intentional, not a hobby to do casually. Figure out how to communicate better before your business ends up in the toilet. Or close down now and spare us all from the effects of your inability to provide basic customer service. Sad that I have to write this, but others need to know this happened, and happens often. read more

We tried them a few times. It honestly is a revolving door of inexperienced groomers. So we are moving on from the very expensive under value. The groomers are nice, but inexperienced. One even said she was 'working on' getting licensed. Aside from unfinished brushing, they just did not do a good job. And at 50% more than the other neighborhood groomers it's just not worth it. When I called and spoke to the owner Randy, he was down right rude and offended that we were not happy with his services. So Mahalo Randy. You are rude. And there are more experienced, friendly and better priced groomers in the neighborhood. Work on your manors. I do not recommend Aloha Pet Mobile Grooming. read more

We have been using Aloha for a couple of years. The staff has always done an amazing job grooming our pup which is what kept us going back! We're not sure what happened, but as of the past few months, they stopped honoring our appointments and automatically rescheduling us within 24 hours of an appointment without consulting us. This is not standard business practice across the industry and frustrating given that they expect clients to adhere to their 48 hour reschedule/cancel policy. Their unwillingness to respectfully reach out when they need to reschedule and overall unprofessionalism surrounding managing appointments have been so disappointing, so we will have to find another groomer as Aloha is no longer reliable. read more

Overpriced, takes too long, and not terribly effective. Sounds like a convenience -- but not really since you have to hold to their schedule. Also had an incredibly rude experience after having to cancel. Although I gave a full day and a half notice, they wanted to bill the the entire charge as cancellation fee. We recently used Aloha after grooming our dog ourselves for the last 5 years. He was terribly scared of the grooming process. He was able to get by with mom haircuts, but we are moving to Florida and he needed to get a good summer trim. Sunni arrived on time and listened to my concerns about past grooming experiences. Aloha everyone! I just took my pup to ALOHA PET MOBILE GROOMING and I was so grateful for our positive experience, I wanted to be sure that I shared a detailed review for those out there that research as deeply as I do when it comes to the care and love for our fur babies! My dog is a cockapoo around 15 weeks old. I know this dog breed will likely require routine grooming visits in the future so I wanted to make sure his first introduction to grooming was a good one. I decided on the mobile pet route because I thought that it would be much better to have a one on one session with the groomer vs waiting an uncertain amount of time as most stationary groomer practice and where your dog's anxiety is influenced by the other rowdy dogs waiting too! I am so relieved that I went with Randy's Company! He was incredible. Me and Biggie (my pup) had very wonderful first impressions of Randy. First couple of things that I noticed was how clean his service van was, secondly was his calm and welcoming demeanor. My dog immediately sensed this in him I could tell. We chatted for a bit and I showed him a picture of what I wanted him to look like then left for around an hour. When Biggie was done and ready I came to the van and was amazed at a couple of things. 1. My dog saw me and looked excited but not anxious to leave the van. He actually hung around Randy's feet, sniffing me but wagging his tail. Very happy, which filled me with relief that clearly his experience was not overwhelming and it was nice to see he made a comfortable bond with Randy. 2. He look gorgeous ! Exactly as in the picture. 3. As I talked with Randy about my pup's overall session, it was clear that he is very experienced and attentive to his craft. He mentioned that he saw my dog's paws were bluntly cut already (by the vet a week prior) and took the extra step to just buff them out smooth so he would stop scratching me, which was great! He spoke on Biggie's reactions to things like the blower and how he strove to read his body language to best adjust for a more comfortable session. Overall, I love my dog and I am so grateful to have found such a caring professional that I can trust in the future. I highly recommend ALOHA PET MOBILE GROOMING! Randy and Jamie just arrived here from Hawaii about a month ago. Randy has 25 years of experience grooming dogs. They have a brand new full service mobile Doggy Grooming Service here in Kitsap County. The list of treatments that they give a dog amount to more treatments than I've ever given myself. I mean they gave my dog a blueberry facial wash...seriously. And they did all of the things that he needed besides just cutting his raggedy looking poodle hair. They did his nails, cleaned his tear stained crusty eyes, cleaned his ears, expressed his anal glands, shampood the dog odor off of him, and they gave him a decent cut. Their home base is in Silverdale but they came all the way out to Kingston (which is about as far north as you can get) to take care of my dog. I am now going to be a regular customer with them. I got a first-time customer discount, which was good because they are pricey. And it was nice to be able to test them out without having to pay the full price. They did a real good job. They showed up on time. They did exactly what they said they would do. They answered questions very well. My dog looks and smells good. They completed the job on time. They are super nice and friendly people. Plus they gave me some chocolates from Hawaii. Oh, and I do need to underscore the fact that it's nice that they're willing to come from Silverdale. read more

Very disappointing, not in their work but in their customer service and communication. We have a 4 1/2 month old Giant Schnauzer who has had two visits. They have done a great job in cutting his hair and during the last visit the groomer had mentioned that she couldn't get the haircut all done around his head because he was trying to mouth the scissors (which is what puppies do). We understood and thanked her. There was never any mention of our dog trying to "bite" her or be aggressive her words were he was "mouthy when cutting around his head and she did not want him to get hurt with the scissors". Next thing you know we get a text from "Randy" saying that they can no longer groom him because "he has become increasingly mouth and attempted biting over the past few visits" The first viist was just a trim and was really more of a spa session than anything else and the second session, well you see what she said. We were never given any type of impression that he was being aggressive or trying to bite her. If you're someone that works with dogs I would presume that you understand their nature, especially puppies. The other thing is if you do encounter this type of behavior please be upfront with the client and not coward behind a text message. Have a conversation with them, especially if they're puppies who are in training and behaviors can be modified and corrected. I guess I'll give someone else my $180 a month to another groomer. Hopefully they'll communicate better in the future with new clients. read more

Randy was very personable, seemed to treat my dog well. His grooming was satisfactory (poodle mix) for the challenging job with all the curly hair he has. BUT...he quoted me a price when I made the appointment, saw my dog before he began, but once he was finished told me that the grooming was $20 more than he had quoted. Left voicemails and confirmed emails were sent. A place that is appointment based that can't respond is a no go. Good thing I found another place via Yelp that has great customer service. I can't explain how great aloha pet grooming is. I texted him and he got us in that day. Randy is wonderful and sooooo good with the dogs. He really does care for them and they looked great and smelled wonderful when he was done. The pricing was responsible and service was efficient and kind. I couldn't recommend him more. We have a mini Australian Shepard, Stella who loves everyone and miniature pincer, Millie who does not like anyone. Even Millie did great with him. Definitely give him a call. Randy always communicates clearly and promptly over text. He lets us know when he is on his way on the day of our appointment, and when he arrives he is all smiles and kind greetings. This was the best decision I ever made. It is so convenient having the groomer come to our house and I know our dog is not left in a cage. Randy is professional and takes care to ensure your dog's comfort. Our dog has terrible hip dysplasia which makes jumping and being lifted off the ground painful - Randy's grooming table goes to the ground so he can step on. My dog looked great afterward, but even more importantly, he was in good spirits and still liked Randy. Usually he can't get away from the groomer fast enough! Randy was fantastic! He came to my house and i brought my puppy out and he sat down and waited until my pup was comfortable with him. Let me puppy decide he wanted to go into the station and went from there. After he brought my puppy to the door and my pup was so excited and even has a cute Hawaiian bandana on, He looks awesome. I just had a wonderful experience with Aloha! My dog is THE biggest baby. She is an 85 pound rescue dog and is scared of everything. The last experience with nail trimming went very badly ending in her nails being far too short and bleeding. Ever since then no one is allowed to touch her nails. Randy got her into his van and gave her some love. She was nervous but he talked to her while he worked. He worked quickly but was obviously being careful. I can hold her hand again!! Randy is fantastic. Our little girl, Abby, is a pom mix and she has a lot of hair. She has never been groomed by anyone but me and I do a terrible job of it. Abby has Addisons disease so any anxiety can make her ill, which is why I did the grooming at home. It's to hot for her to be full furred so a friend suggested a mobile groomer. Mobile groomer, that's a thing? I looked it up and decided to try Aloha Pet from it's reviews. Randy let me know he was on the way and greeted Abby like an old friend. She now looks fantastic and smells great as well. I'm so happy her first time was positive and I made another appointment for our other dog on the spot.
