    Beer Battered Zucchini Sticks

A solid late-night option for an Italian dinner! The space is very well kept and has a nice modern feel to it. Service was pleasant but nothing too over the top; we ordered at the register and did not interact too much with anyone after that. We had the Beer Battered Zucchini Sticks, Caesar Salad, Medium Napoli's Combo Pizza, and Fettuccine Alfredo with Chicken. My standouts were the caesar salad, which was very fresh and had a very anchovy forward dressing that I enjoyed, and the pizza, which was cooked perfectly and had a great savory flavor to it. Portion sizes were great too as we were able to split everything between 3 and have plenty of leftovers. Overall, I enjoyed the dinner we had at Napoli's and though I probably won't become a regular, I will keep it in mind for the next time we're needing a late-night Italian fix.

I love Napoli's pizza and salads. The ingredients are good quality and are definitely a step above your average pizza delivery place. Of course you are going to pay a higher price point for better quality pizza so don't expect Dominoes prices! I recently ordered their large veggie pizza, a small cheese pizza and an antipasto salad. Unfortunately they messed up the order and we got a Greek salad instead, but good thing is I love their Greek salad! I was just a little disappointed I didn't get what I ordered. Their small cheese is a great size for a couple kiddos to share, and the large pizza is great for I would say about 5/6 people. I loved the big pieces of artichoke on the veggie pizza! It wasn't very sauce heavy, which I think I would have enjoyed, but it was still super delicious. The crust isn't too thick not too thin it's perfectly in the middle. Great fluffy inside and crunch on the outside! Veggies in the salads are always crispy and fresh and they are great for sharing. Overall, I definitely recommend choosing Napoli for your next pizza delivery night! It's just as easy to call and order as it is to order online! They do have only a certain distance they will deliver to, otherwise you will need to pick it up! They have parking in the back and on the street in front.

I would give this place four and a half stars if I could. We got great service from Gladys and Aaron. Very friendly and helpful. The antipasto salad was filled with delicious and fresh components. A really good starter. The pizza was topped by fresh and plentiful and tasty items. Really delicious. We expected to get a Neapolitan pizza, but it isn't. Still good, and we very much enjoyed our meal. Definitely on our list to go back.

The pizza is very delicious, I've ordered food from here many times. There's parking available, and the service is excellent. The restaurant's location is also good. I recommend it to everyone

    Napolitana Pizza Margherita

I'm always been looking for a great Napolitana Pizza Margherita in California or the USA, in general. So far, the Napolitana standard is that of Eataly in Century City. So, I drove to Napoli's Pizza Kitchen in Van Nuys to see if their name really can replicate the standards that I've been looking for. I ordered the Pizza Margherita with a Mexican Coke. The pizza has fresh mozzarella and cut basil on top. Dough to me was average, crust was fine and was sliced thin. It tasted like Margherita with 4 stars, close but not close enough. The dough lacked the softness which is characteristically Napolitana. They also offer other pizza designs and choices, parking was ample at the back of the store and the lady was nice. She gave us two plates for us to use.

Sooooooo good!!!!! We came in originally just for pizza but the menu is huge... we had to order some other things to really sample. The service was spectacular! They explained the menu and were so kind in answering our questions. There was fun music playing and it was cute and cozy! 10/10

    Medium Hawaiian. Looks perfect.

Dining room was clean. Modern. Sharp. Hip. Trendy. Very friendly service. Parking was not difficult. Pizza was good. Definitely not bad. I was a fan of the crust, good for dipping.

We were looking for something to eat nearby our hotel. We had two littles with us that were beyond the point of hunger. We settled on pizza and Napoli's definitely hit the spot. Small little "hole in the wall" joint with chill music as well as ESPN on the tv. Great selection of beer and non alcoholic beverages. Leila's service was superb, she checked in and made sure we were taken care of halfway into our meal. We had an 8pc wing half with buffalo and half with garlic parmesan, delish! The breading was crispy and flavor wise you can't go wrong with either. We decided on a basic pepperoni but this pizza was anything but basic. The crust was crunchy but soft at the same time. Cheese ratio 10/10. Will definitely be back if ever in the area again and will definitely recommend to friends and family.

Thin crust that is very flavorful, good sauce, not too much cheese, just enough, not that deep dish stuff that midwestern people think is pizza but is something else entirely. When I first moved here, you could not get the real deal, it was disappointing. Then the grandson of Regina's Pizza in the north End opened up the Pizza Connection is Canoga Park and it was really good. He opened a bunch of other locations but over time, not sure why, the pizza just wasn't as good. My child Emily Asher Kellis disagrees, still loves it, but she was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, so what does she really know about pizza. After trying a bunch of different "New York City" pizza joints that were just ok, we found Santino's NY Pizza in Sherman Oaks and were very happy with it, authentic East Coast pizza. Well last week I discovered they went out of business. Oh no, what were we going to do? So I researched and found there was a place in Sherman Oaks called The Pizza Wagon of Brooklyn, only two locations, here and in Brooklyn and people said it was the real deal. Tonight we tried it, and you know what, it might just be even better. Santino's sauce had a slight sweetness to it that we liked that this doesn't but the sauce is good, and the crust is even more flavorful and they are a bit more liberal with the olive oil usage, which true East Coasters love while I am told that most health conscious Southern Californians do not. Anyway, we are quite happy that we can continue to get our pizza craving satisfied when we just gotta have some slices.

Yes, the atmosphere is dark and spare, and this location could use a paint job, but the staff is friendly, and the pizza just can't be beat. I also love the option of sitting at a counter, because it's just more comfortable when doing the slice thing alone. They had quite a few pie options on display, including a Chicken Ranch pizza, which may require a call to the boss: combined with the BBQ Chicken and Hawaiian Pizzas below it, Mulberry may be committing a 3-strikes foodie felony. That said, I ordered a slice with sausage and a Coke Zero. The great thing about Mulberry Street is that their slices are on the larger size while still maintaining a thin and crispy crust. You definitely feel like you're getting far more bang for your buck here, and that's before you even take a bite -- that's the closer. The pizza here is top notch, with good quality cheese that melts perfectly and retains both its chew and flavor. The tomato sauce is nicely balanced between sweet and acid, and the sausage on top was richly flavored. Drizzle the slice with a touch of their signature chili oil, and you really have a terrific bite. I have to say, while the excitement around Mulberry may have diminished after so many years, and after the arrival of so many other places now doing what once was only being done by Mulberry, the quality of their food has remained first-rate, and they continue to top the list of places serving slices in this city. The proof: with Joe's pizza just steps away, Mulberry had far more people eating there at Friday lunchtime, and their pizza was much fresher (the pies at Joe's always seem to have been sitting for quite some time). While this outpost really needs to invest in some paint and a rethinking of the lighting, Mulberry definitely takes the crown when it comes to the food.

Every time we order it lately, I find myself wondering why. The pizza has become incredibly salty, and the quality seems to have gone downhill. Today really took the cake. Instead of ordering a whole pie, we got a few slices. I ordered pepperoni with onions, olives, and extra cheese, which doesn't seem like an unusual request. When I opened the box, I was genuinely put off. It looked like they had taken a premade pepperoni slice, laid what appeared to be slices of sandwich cheese on top, and sprinkled raw onions over it. I understand that by-the-slice pizza is premade, but this felt lazy and unappetizing. Mulberry used to be great, and it's disappointing to say this as someone who grew up eating there. At this point, I'd honestly rather have Domino's.

What made this even more frustrating was that, after contacting them through Uber Eats, we were only given a $25 credit instead of a full refund for an order that was entirely inedible. This is completely unacceptable, especially for the price. We will never order from Joe's Pizza again and would strongly recommend staying away if this is the level of quality and service they provide.
