My first time trying this restaurant. I ordered online to go and it was ready when i got there, About 15 minutes. The young man working the register was very friendly and it was busy. It's looks like a hole in the wall from the outside but every table was full . I ordered hot and sour soup, fried rice, chow mein, lemon, chicken, and sweet and sour pork. They did not out the sauce in the sweet and sour pork or lemon chicken which was great as I live about an hour away. So when I got back home I just heated up the food in my walk with the sauce and it was so good, tasted like it was just made. I was very impressed with all the dishes, they were all great. I was in a motel and didn't want to go out, so I did DoorDash. I ordered the wor wonton soup, the garlic chicken, with a side order of white rice. The order comes quickly, and the food is very hot. The soup was excellent. A huge container with lots of goodies! The broth was delicious. The veggies were done. Well, the wontons were tender and delicious, and there were plenty of the pork, chicken, and shrimp, and they were also done very well. The garlic chicken was just as good. I could smell the garlic as soon as I opened the container. There was plenty of rice, the chicken was tender, and the veggies were just right. The rice was done perfectly, and it went with the Dish very very well. I had enough soup and garlic chicken to have a nice breakfast as well. The price was reasonable considering I got two meals out of it. The only thing I could say, was they could see that it was a DoorDash order, but I don't know if they could see that it was going to a motel. If they could see that, they should've realized that most motels don't have bowls or plates The garlic chicken and the rice came in small "to go containers", and I had no plates or anything, so it made it kind of hard to eat. Sadly our food was so bad tonight. I've never tasted a nastier chicken curry. The sauce is gooey and thick with no flavor and the chicken was slimey. The Thai tea tasted like sweet milk and it was too sweet to drink. The orange chicken was also not good either. read more

There's not much to complain about with Anna's Bistro except for the name. This is an EXCELLENT Chinese/Japanese restaurant run by fantastic people who convinced us after our first time there where we licked our plates clean that we should come back for the Korean wings, so we did. It doesn't impress from the street, but we'd read reviews from Yelp and decided to give it a try. Chicken with Black Bean sauce was chock full of veggies and hubby's chicken and veggies had different but equally delicious vegetables. The people running it were super attentive and we felt like we were family after our second time there in two nights. If we return to Ukiah we will definitely stop in at Anna's Bistro! read more

We went in for dinner for the first time, and enjoyed it. The menu is huge, we had several Chinese dishes and a couple sushi rolls. Everything was very tasty. We pulled up to the empty parking lot and lights completely off. We asked each other, "Are they opened?" We we're greeted and sat at a table. Tonight we had mushu beef, sweet and sour chicken and another beef dish. It was Chinese food. It had taste but looking down to the grime on the carpet, one could lose one's appetite easily. I may be wrong but there aren't too many Chinese restaurants left in Ukiah. It couldn't cost much to have a carpet cleaner come in and do a good cleaning. It appears that most of their business is take out and delivery. Maybe the locals know something we don't. read more

Been ordering from here for years snd has always been decent. Latest order of green curry chicken and thai style tom yum was off the mark. Called restaurant asking if new chef and was told no same chef. Let them know green curry was missing the coconut milk and the tom yum broth was missing correct flavor in addition to both were over salty and spiced. Rice was good tho. Super disappointed in this restaurant and how they are approaching COVID. My friend and I ordered some food today and were super excited to try it, however, when she went to go pick up the food we realized it was best we threw it away instead. When my friend went to pick up our food, she saw three employees in the back WITHOUT MASKS preparing the food. The woman who she met in the front was also not wearing a mask. Unfortunately, to avoid conflict my friend just paid but neither of us felt comfortable eating the food. 25 dollars down the drain and we definitely will not be coming back. Have some respect for your customers and your business. I don't care what position you're working or if you've even been tested negativrecently- WEAR A MASK. I am a vegan and thrilled to find their secret vegan menu! Very delicious food, glad to find the plant-based fish and beef in the vegan menu. We ordered two main courses and one chow mein, one fried rice for two, gracious amount of food and had to ask for to-go box. The best Chinese food in Ukiah; doesn't mean it's great but it's what we got. Sometimes the food is hot or miss but usually hit. My favorites are: the veggie pot stickers, egg rolls, cheese puffs, the Thai iced coffee, veggie roll and the tempura roll. I've only been inside the restaurant twice and it's quite dingy and usually empty. The delivery is pretty spot on. The food is delivered hot and fresh and never takes over 45 minutes. Overpriced for poor quality. Honestly, the food was sub-par and the orders were small. The egg rolls and shrimp tempera were clearly frozen products that were fried. The sweet n sour sauce for the chicken was watery. The Malaysia beef was mostly onions. The combo chow mein was the most tolerable but needed seasoning. We won't be back. read more

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because they are one of the few restaurants in Ukiah who have made it simple and user friendly to order online with delivery. They get kudos for that. Sadly, the food we ordered was inedible and way over priced. I was craving good Asian food and was hoping for at least one good item in our order... chow mein, egg roll, garlic chicken and pork fried rice. Zero flavor! I mean a hint of salt and that's it! Even in the 'spicy' garlic chicken... no garlic, no spice. So disappointing. The other disappointing issie is that we basically paid $12 each for salted noodles and rice. Very little bits of chicken or pork, and next to zero veggies. The egg rolls were crispy, but had a very rancid oil taste. I'm sad that this place isn't special. I wanted it to be a new option. Very unsatisfying food and awkward service. I think it's the owner of the restaurant who goes around everyone's tables and talks to their customers while they're eating. I totally dig that, but if you can't keep up a conversation then it just gets really awkward. The dude came up to our table while we were chewing on our food and we were trying to talk to him and eat at the same time and it wasn't working out. He would ask us questions that would cause us to only reply to him with one word responses. After trying to chat with us, he just sat there for a few seconds and watched us eat. Every time I go to a Chinese restaurant, I always order Sweet and Sour pork. One of my favorite dishes. I ordered it here and it was not my cup of tea. The outside of the pork was pretty crunchy, like it should be, but the pork itself was hard. It didn't seem like the meat was cooked at all. The sauce was not flavorful. The entire dish tasted so bland. We also ordered the Walnut Prawns and Mongolian beef. The sauce of the walnut prawns tasted like old milk, sour and slightly bitter - when it should be sweet. Have dined here and taken out several times and now ready to review. The food here is pretty good. Recently had a couple of new dishes, HK fried noodles and fried chicken wings. Both were great, especially the wings. Crispy, salty and not covered in sauce, lightly breaded, delicious. Most of the rest of the fare is run of the mill but satisfying. Prices can get a little out of hand for dinner, but lunch specials are a great value. Staff is hit and miss, occasionally a language barrier to hurdle. Lots of parking and the decor is ho-hum. Came here today for lunch with friends at 1:00. Service was prompt and friendly. The staff kept coming by and checking on us every 5-10 minutes. We were pretty impressed. They brought our tab to us, so we went ahead and paid and left a very generous tip. No where during all the interruptions did they tell us they were needing us to leave promptly at 2:00. Then at 1:58 one of the staff members walked to all the tables and said "We close at 2:00 you need to leave now". I was shocked and thought I heard him incorrectly. When I asked he said "You need to leave now. We close at 2:00". I have NEVER been kicked out of a restaurant before! EVER! Usually when a restaurant closes they lock the doors and don't allow anyone else in. They let the patrons FINISH their meal. I will NEVER go back here again!!! read more

I ordered Anna's to go and was not disappointed by the food. Everything was delicious and my coworkers were very happy with their lunch. The flavor of the sushi was perfect, we had the da roll, spicy scallop, dragon, and a spicy tuna. All were delicious and the wasabi was actually Hot!! Woo hoo! We also got some Chinese food, the mushu chicken was delicious except for the fact that it came with flour tortillas. It was the usual wrap that comes with mushu. We also had hot and sour soup and it was delicious. The only truly bad that that happened was that they did not give us and silverware and we orders to go so I thought that was odd. read more
