Regularly order delivery and it's great. They package the sauces separately and the food is always wonderful. Never disappointed.

Wife ordered carry out for me to pick up passing thru Ukiah. Shrimp noodle, pork fried rice, cashew chicken and Kung pow chicken. Noodle dish was ok. Besides that I had the Kung pow and rice. Kung pow was dry, lacked spice, had little chicken and what chicken was there was of low quality cut. First review ever! I recently discovered this restaurant through the app Eat24. I love it. I have ordered several times through the app for pick up and I must say I have no complaints. Always punctual for the time I schedule the pick up. Staff seems nice and the place clean. I have not dine in yet so I'm just commenting on what I have being able to see in the couple of minutes it takes me to pick up my food. The food is great. Good portions. Great flavors. Sauces in a separate container which is a must for me when it comes to take out otherwise when you get home you end up with nasty soggy food. So far so good. Have you ever looked at a restaurant and thought NO because it looked bad from the outside? Well, make sure you don't do that for Anne's Bistro because the interior is beautiful and the food is DELICIOUS I had the sweet and sour chicken with chow mang and there were some cool fish tanks to look at while you were waiting for your food. Food was very good especially the California rolls we ordered. The chef came out to see how our meal was, which I like alot, because it makes me feel like he actually cares about the taste of what's being served. The waiters were very kind, and welcoming. I've order take out at least 12 times, always good, with AWESOME vegitarian options. I've been here a couple of times and each time gets 5 stars. Firstly, their service is hands down, the best. They are always smiling, friendly, they check on you like crazy, who wouldn't want that? The food is great! Everything I've had there, the chow mein, the fried rice, the shrimp, the beef and broccoli and the pot stickers, all good. And for the lunch combo prices, how can you beat 6 or 7 dollars? It's all 6 dollars and if you add seafood, it's 7. And I want to say, not sure if their restaurant calls em shrimp or prawns but these babies are prawns! You know how restaurants call their 'baby shrimp', PRAWNS and when they bring it to your table, they look like tiny baby shrimp? Yeah, not this place. Seasoned to perfection and large, oh....and plentiful, they don't give you 3-4 in your fried rice and call it good. At China Chef, I had ordered shrimp fried rice and they tossed raw shrimp in at the end of cooking the rice so by the time it got to our table, we had ready to eat fried rice with unseasoned, raw baby shrimps....Gross, don't expect that from this place! *NOTE* I don't EVER bash restaurants, but this needs to be said: So I just tried this place. I've heard good things, and bad things. So I decided to try it myself to see because I like to try new places. I should have known from the start when I pulled in and we were the only ones there. We walked in and it was super dingy and the tables were sticky. I ordered simple things, like egg rolls and white rice and for the main dish I ordered a simple sushi roll. The waiter forgot our drinks, plus insisted on constantly asking me why my 3 year old daughter wasn't eating( um, my daughter doesn't eat Chinese) when the food came, the rice was old and hard, the egg rolls were pretty good, but the sushi... omg...it tasted fermented and literally had to choke it down because they were watching us eat. This is by far the WORST place I have ever eaten. I've tried many Chinese places, and the only thing that was good here was the canned soda. read more

Ok I usually only write reviews when restaurant knock my socks off and I feel it's my duty to reward them with s 5 star review. This is the complete opposite and I even ate here twice just to make sure the first atrocity wasn't a fluke. I don't even know where to start because I have eaten at Anna's in willits and Laytonville and both of those experiences were decent. Anna's in ukiah doesn't even come close to their other establishments. The first time I placed an order for delivery around $85 worth of food. The delivery driver called my phone about 1 1/2 hours after I placed my order and proceeded to tell me he had been knocking on my door for almost 10 minutes!!! Amazing that no one in the house heard it and more amazing that he didn't use the door bell!! When I told him we were home and I would be right there he told me I better he or he would do all his other deliveries and then bring my cold food back to me. Regardless of this kids attitude I still threw him 10 bucks and got our food! BIG MISTAKE!!! Food was absolutely horrible and it didn't matter if it was chicken pork or even tempura it all tasted exactly the same like it was cooked in last years oil. So on to the next try again I ordered around $80 in food for my family this time it was delivered promptly and the driver used the door bell but again the food was almost un edible my 11 year old loves sweet n sour pork/chicken and he took 2 bites and chose frozen burritos instead my sushi was gross avocado was dark brown and the chow Mein stuck together like a brick!! Do yourself a favor and drive to willits or laytonville if you must eat at Anna's because their ukiah location is a joke!!! read more

Food is ok, we do mostly takeout. Better than any of the others we have tried in the Ukiah area. My favorite is the lemon chicken as they use thin sliced breastmeat, not the unrecognizable chunks others use. Not San Francisco quality but when you are dying for Chinese food and you are this far north Anna's is a good choice. read more

Spent $82 plus a tip for delivery, they completely got the order wrong, and then when we called to let them know they hung up on us several times, argued with us and got loud and rude. after all this mistreatment, they refused to fix the order or to refund us the money. Good Chinese food at decent prices. Not the best I've ever had, but it's the best in Ukiah...

I ordered using Yelp to have the food delivered to my motel room. Somehow in the ordering process I missed including my motel room. This is not a reason for my poor rating, as it was entirely my fault. My son then had a screaming fit and I was trying to calm him when the delivery driver called, so I missed the delivery. Again, entirely my fault (or at least not the delivery person's fault). I then called them and was told it would get to me in 30-40 minutes. I wasn't excited about that, as I was hungry and knew I would be trying to get my baby to bed right when they arrived, but, again, it was my own fault. I knew the food would be cold, but we reasoned that we had a microwave in the room and could simply heat up our portions. Finally, the food arrived, and, of course, I was in the middle of putting the baby to bed. My husband opened the door and gave the man the money we owed. The man handed my husband a dripping bag and turned and hustled away. My husband opened the bag to find three open boxes, all dripping with goop. There were no napkins, no forks, no chopsticks, no plates, no nothing. There was no way that we could consume this food in our motel room (at this point, I think it was PRETTY clear that we were in a MOTEL room). I was hungry enough that I just figured, what the heck. I grabbed a box and started eating with my hands. This is where I get to the source of my low rating. It was horrible. It wasn't just cold and it wasn't just mushy from sitting in the box for an hour. It was also completely flavorless. We had ordered the General Chicken SPICY because we like spicy food. Not only was this not spicy, the only thing that indicated to me that it had any sauce on it at all was the fact that the chicken had become one giant pile of mushy breading. The chicken and broccoli was not good but edible, and I ate some of that with my hands. I couldn't taste the fried rice because eating rice with my hands was beyond even starving me. SO - the beginning of the terrible experience was entirely my fault, but nothing about that error should have lead to me sitting on a motel room floor eating cold flavorless mush with my hands. Not only will I not be eating at Anna's BIstro again, but I also won't be using the Yelp ordering service, as I found it confusing and rather slow. read more

Normally love the food from here and in ukiah I only trust one or two chinese/Japanese restaurants. I called in a $75 to go order for my family I was told it would be around 45 minutes which I was totally fine with. The delivery arrived within an hour so that was no problem the problem was the delivery driver I have a solid metal screen door and a doorbell a strange number called my phone and I decided to call it back. Sure enough it was the delivery driver who instantly asked if I lived at the address I gave them and then yelled at me that he had been knocking for 15 minutes. Mind you I have 2 rottweilers and a door bell why knock?? My dogs bark anytime someone pulls in my driveway.. I told the driver I would come to the door immediately and his response was well you better or I'm going 2 do other deliveries and I'll bring your food back in an hour. So the face to face wasn't pleasant he couldn't have been 21 years old and after talking extremely tough on the phone he wouldn't make eye contact as I handed him $$$$... delivery drivers are the face of your business on the road they should have the same respect and etiquette that counter staff or waiters have. GOOD NEWS, Vegetarians! There is finally another restaurant in town that offers a wide variety of vegetarian fare and doesn't cook the holy living crud out of the vegetables! More on that in a moment... This is a very nice restaurant. It is family run, clean, softly decorated, and has a substantial menu of both Japanese and Chinese to order from. (We haven't yet ordered from the Japenese menu so this review is only referencing the Chinese menu) They are open 7 days a week and, not only do they deliver, but you can place your order online at http://www.beyondmenu.com/22372/Ukiah/Anna-s-Bistro-Ukiah-95482.aspx. It's about time Ukiah had a restaurant that is in the 21st century! At first the food seems pricey but it is served family style with good portion sizes. My partner and I each ordered 1 entree and 1 appetizer and had plenty left over for lunch the next day. 2 meals from a $10 entree makes it a very good value in my mind. Other reviewers have touched on the non-vegetarian options in their reviews so I'd like to tackle the vegetarian selections. They have a decent set of standard veggie dishes on the regular menu. When I told the owner I was a vegetarian, he informed me that they will substitute vegetarian broth in any soup on the menu if you ask. Additionally they serve a vegetarian "fish" protein and will use it in place of the animal protein in any dish on the menu (my partner had it done "general chicken" style and it was delightfully good). Lastly, he told us he is planning to bring in other vegetarian "meat style' proteins if they continue to sell well (shrimp being his next goal). The only downside to this is, none of these more interesting options are on the online menu; for the moment they are only listed on the daily special board in the restaurant itself.
