The atmosphere was fairly average. I had a wonderful pedicure. It has looked great for 4 weeks. The girl who did my nails was very attentive and noticed my previous pedicure had done damage. She gave me the option of making it look like there was no issue (at the risk of an ingrown) or cutting it so it would grow out to be healthier. My only complaint was that I brought a friend for her birthday and her massage was rushed and at least the half the length of mine. read more

This is the absolute worst shellac mani and pedi I have ever gotten in my life. The lady was nice but honestly very defensive if I said she missed a spot or something. She claims my nails are very small and it's very hard to do almond shape. I'm not even sure what to answer to that. I left literally with chipped nail polish. It's very upsetting that I just spent $55 to have to get my nails redone next week. read more

Really love this place. My mom and I have been going here a long time. $10 manicure + whatever kind of polish you're getting. Few frills and no fuss. I get anxious easily and they're all really nice and the place isn't huge and loud like some salons. Today an older Asian gentleman with glasses did my nails. I got a dip mani and am really pleased with it. It's a pearl color that's a lot prettier than it looks in a picture. Horrible! Went in on Saturday to get gel polish put on my nails. She didn't even cover my entire nail w/ polish for some reason. I called out some of my fingers to her and she covered it more. I thought I would give this place a try and was nervous since I didn't know much about it but it was a total waste of money and I will not be returning! Where I normally go (and couldn't because they were closed for a week) last me 2-3 weeks. This didn't make it a full week. Horrible job. read more

I got acrylic fill-ins with gel polish for $40. I arrived at 1:20 for a 1:30 appointment and left at 3:20. Two different tech's worked on my nails and neither one seemed happy to be working with me, even though I was their only client at the time I walked in. The middle aged lady who removed my old gel and filled in the acrylics did a pretty good job: 7/10 rating. The young man who actually painted my nails used 3 coats of light pink and the polish looks uneven on 6 of 10 nails. Longer version below if you're interested. I was out in the Karns area and needed my nails done so I stopped in at noon (on my way to lunch) and asked for a 1:30 appointment. The woman sitting nearest the door said they could do it; therefore I returned at 1:20, at which time I was seated at a station and handed a basket of gel colors from which to choose. The samples looked old- many were smudged or looked dirty; others were X'ed out. There were significantly fewer colors in their basket than in my regular salon. The color I asked for was "out" so I had to make a second selection. The lady who removed my old gel and reapplied acrylic was polite but not congenial. She did a good job but not a great job -- I though she was really rough the whole time, and I thought her application technique was sloppy; she had to use the Dremel tool a lot to compensate for surface unevenness. About the time the lady finished my nails, a young woman walked in and stated that the polish (dip) on her thumb cracked (she got her nails done 4 days prior) and wanted it fixed. So my lady got up and started working on the girl's nails; at this point she called over a younger guy (who was sitting in a pedicure chair playing on his phone) to come paint my nails. He acted inconvenienced, didn't look at me, and did NOT do a good job painting my nails. Looks like an at-home DIY!!! Not good. Between the lack of hospitality, the uninvited decor (walls in various stages of remodel, music was pedestrian/amateur piano, elevator-style), and the poor job on my nails themselves, I cannot recommend this establishment. read more

This Nail Spa is really nice. The people are friendly and they are reasonably priced! I've gone here since I was little and loved coming here ever since. They aren't as ascetically pleasing as some (as in decor) but their service lets that be the last on your mind. They provide drinks for kids and adults and they are all around great. read more

I got a pedicure here and it's easily on of the best I've gotten. My only complaint is I wanted for about 25 minutes because there were only two people working but in their defense I did walk in without an appointment. I wish they had had a little bit of a bigger color selection for polish but overall I loved it. The gentleman that did mine was nice and didn't make it awkward the way some pedicures can be. I've been going here for gel manicures for a couple of years. Danny is the best! But when Danny isn't there, go elsewhere. I let a different lady do my manicure this time and it was awful! Several of my nails have noticeable bubbles that you can see and feel, my edges are not smooth, and she did a bad job on my cuticles. And when I showed her the Yelp coupon for $5 off, she didn't want to honor it! She finally did, and I thought to myself, never again. And this wasn't the first time she did a poor job on my nails. If you go here, only let Danny touch your nails. read more

I am really disappointed my friend recommended this place to me and said it was a great place to get your nails done. I didn't have an appointment so I walk in. They told me they were to booked could not take me I would have to come back tomorrow. But when I walk in there was 3 employees sitting looking at newspapers, magazines and on their phones. And their was only 2 customers in the place. I guess they to business to take a walk-in . Maybe since I was a person of color my money wasn't good of enough. I don't understand because the employees were people of color to but it was only white customers in there at the time. So after that happen I called when I got in my car to see if they took walk ins they said yes they could take me at 6:15 which at this time it was 4. This is the second nail shop in Knoxville that wouldn't take a walk in same situation except it was white owned and all white employees. And it said American owned. I'm American too! Disappointing experience. Purchased gift cards for mani's/pedi's for my daughters. My girls went to use them and Anna's had a price increase so rather than honor the purchase they charged them extra. This was NOT a dollar amount certificate, they were for specific services. We won't be back. They gift certificates were not expired either. read more
