Very fresh like everyone says. Huge! Crabs in containers! (Largest I have ever seen!) There were 2 people available to help. I was trying to take it yet decide what sushi to get for a quick lunch! They have great rolls but the bowl looked good too! A nice clean & cool cement building with all kinds fish/ seafood to consider. Halibut was the special that day. This place has just about anything you need. I got quite a few pictures and very well organized a fantastic variety of seafood, and you can buy smaller amounts as well as larger ones. If you need some seafood, here is your spot. We bought scallops and crab cakes these were terrific, and the best thing is that the Dungeness crabs are live. Service was excellent; we asked a few questions about the seafood, and they were very helpful. My hubby is Cajun, and let me tell you, he loves his seafood, and I do too. Go on over and check it out. Honestly, wouldn't have even noticed this place had it not been for Yelp...and that would have been a shame. This innocuous little storefront houses an amazing selection of incredibly fresh fish. (As well as various preparations like ceviche, poke and tuna salad) We purchased a variety of items, just to get an idea of what we liked the most. While the salmon spread was a little smokier than I prefer, just about everything else was amazing (high points were the dungeness crab and the ceviche). The staff were incredibly helpful, and if parking is difficult in their small lot, just park in the strip mall 1/2 a block away and walk over. read more

Yes on how they have ikura and sashimi here! They have a wide selection of fish to choose from, live crabs and etc. I also adore their salmon poke - not a lot of seafood markets have salmon poke and hamachi yellow tuna poke. They have the standard red tuna poke. Oysters variety and clams were there too. I wished that they have a shucking station. I would pay for it to be shucked. Scallops sashimi was adorned as well as caviar. Wasabi product was conveniently there for the ones like me, going home to make sashimi platter. Fast cashier and server and great service. Drove over an hour from East Bay to pick up live Dungeness Crab .... Only to be swindled by a typical BAIT & SWITCH ..... Advertised a certain price on their website then upon arriving at their store was SHOCKED when RUDE MAN with salt & pepper curly hair behind the counter was charging 35% MORE than what is advertised on website. I would rather pay regular RETAIL prices than deal with dishonest scammers trying to make an extra buck. Crabs in clear water as well as the Alaskan king crabs. Bought sushi, a # of cracked crab, 2 cooked crabs, salmon sashimi and tobiko. Need to ask for wasabi and soy sauce as it was not included in the sushi boxes. Everything tasted delicious. We will be back next month. read more

Ana's seafood is simply amazing! I've been going here for years and it is exclusively where I get my fish. The quality can't be beat and the customer service is top-notch. They have a wide variety of fresh fish available and even locally caught rockfish live in the tank. I've also tried their frozen salmon, cakes and crabcakes, and they are phenomenal. They have several varieties of poke ready to go Andy husband always likes getting one for his lunch as a special treat. As I mentioned, the customer service is lovely and they are always eager to answer all my fishy questions. I can not recommend Anna's Seafood enough. Anna's is a great place to buy seafood. There is a wide selection of live, cooked and packaged seafood. We usually get live Dungeness crab. The price varies all the time. The lowest price I've paid is $6.99/lb and most recently it was $10.95/lb. One time when I purchased some Dungeness crab they caught them the same morning outside the Golden Gate. There is also live lobster, Alaskan King Crab, and an assortment of fish over ice. In the fridge section they have salmon cakes, crab cakes, poke, seaweed, clam chowder and tuna salad just to name a few. Service is friendly and there is plenty of parking. I bought a tray of assorted sushi from the farmers market in Larkspur, and some fresh wild salmon. A few people recommended the fresh fish from here and I finally gave it a try. Let me tell you, they are not properly flash freezing their fish. I would never come here again., their fish gave me tape worms! Yes, yuck!! I've never experienced anything like this. I think the FDA needs to make a stop at their store to check their flash freezing process. read more

Anna's service SUCKS! All too often after placing orders on line, I've received emails telling me when the order will be ready for pickup, only to find the order is NOT ready when I arrive. Sometimes, after enough asking and waiting and asking again, they find the order and get it ready. Other times, they say they don't have all the items, and I'll need to come back another day. This is after they emailed me telling me it would be ready. The last order I placed was supposed to be ready Tuesday morning Jan 13. I got notified that it got delayed until the afternoon. I replied that I would pick it up on Thursday Jan 15. When I arrived and asked for my order, they guy behind the counter nodded and went back to the freezer. I assumed he was going to get my order. After a 15-minute wait, he was finally packing seafood items in a box. I asked if it was my order and he shook his head. I asked when he would get my order and he just shrugged. He apparently couldn't find my order but didn't tell me that. He just kept me waiting and waiting and waiting. After 15 minutes of this, I asked another employee if he could get my order. He asked my name and went back to the freezer. After more waiting, he came out with some boxes, walked past while I waited, took the boxes out to a car and drove away. Neither of these two employees had the courtesy to tell me they couldn't find my order! They kept me waiting and waiting and waiting but made no real effort to help. After waiting more than 20 minutes, I told a lady behind the counter that I couldn't wait any longer. She apologized for the mix-up, took my name and number, and said she'd have the store manager call me as ASAP. To her credit, she was the only one of the 3 who made any effort to be helpful. But I never heard back from anyone about my missing order. I left a message at the store on Thursday night asking for a return call. As of 4:00pm Friday, no one has called back. Anna's service SUCKS! Friday 6:pm update: Kevin, the store manager, called my partner to tell her the order was ready, and she went to Anna's to get it. So, we have a satisfactory ending to an extremely irritating customer experience. read more

Day before Christmas 2025, we bought fresh crab, scallops and clams from Annie"s to make our annual crab cioppino. After cleaning all and cooking the cioppino, we sat down to our Christmas dinner, (the flavors were a little strong) but not bad. A day later all the left over fish turned a very dark grey brown. I was so disappointed, after all the money spent and the hard work cleaning all the fish. I ate a bit of the left over cioppino today and now I'm sick to my stomach. I read that there can be biotoxins in poorly handled seafood, especially shell fish. I know we handled the purchase properly, cleaning out the guts of the crab, etc. so I don't know why this happened. I've been eating crab cioppino for over 60 years !!! read more

Once again Anna it mishandling their customers. You order ahead. You get told to pick up at a time then you get there and of course nothing is ready and no one will take care of you. In the meantime, the parking lot is packed. There's a line outside the door in the rain and I'm quite sure that the pascity of Petaluma will once again be angry because they're making a traffic disaster due to their complete incompetence. It was a shit show on Christmas Eve picking up my preordered live crab. Such miss communication whether to get in "pre order line or buy it that day line". The person at the register was clueless and sent us out to get our live crab after we already waited for 40 mins which was false. This was my first year going on a holiday... never again!! My new favorite higher end fresh fish market . The poke and Hamachi were fresh as we ate them raw for dinner and it was great ! Love they have so many types of fresh and frozen fish . Place is clean and helpers were nice. The poke is sold plain but they give you sauce to add later which is how I like it in Hawaii. They use the loin and the ahi didn't have the white filaments used in cheaper poke. read more

Very interesting. Package says 16 oz but it weighs in at 11 1/8 with the pack. Given this cost $26 I have some feelings about it being almost 5 oz short. Will probably not be back as this feels VERY shady. Edit to add - it smelled fishy when I opened it. Super disappointing. read more

I would def make sure what you are getting there as far as sushi/poke and other refrigerated stuff is fresh because they were trying to sell a lot of old sushi. You can always tell by the avocado. Live dungeness crab was I came to purchase but left with much more. It you're a seafood lover this is the place to go. First time there but will definitely go again. I used to be a fan, or thought I was, but not so much any more. Recently picked up an online order but when I got home I found that one of the items was shown as N/A on the paperwork and not included. It would have been nice if they had told me when I was there. I would have ordered an alternative. Furthermore, they didn't adjust the pricing and I had to call back to get a refund. As others mentioned that's not easy because they rarely answer their phone and never return a message. I finally did get it done after several attempts. In addition, I ordered some pre-cooked lobster, which was expensive as expected but what I didn't expect to discover was that the lobster was overcooked and tough. Maybe I'll just be a little more careful about what I order in the future. Not sure. read more
