This place is straight-up, honest-to-goodness diner, which is surprisingly hard to find in central Ohio. My daughter said the pancakes and sausage were great, and they were able to accommodate my gluten-free, dairy-free diet with a fantastic veggie omelette with ham. In response to Jeffrey S. of Delaware, OH, I find it interesting that a customer would not ask for a correction of a meal item while there in person. He mentions that he ate the "hard" egg yolks and did not indicate that his gravy was missing until he was paying the bill. He then went home and called the proprietor prior to writing a negative Yelp review. Why did he not allow the business the chance to make things "right" while he was eating his meal? My husband and I had a late breakfast at Anne's Kitchen on the same date as Jeffrey S. We've enjoyed breakfast there multiple times since Landa Howe purchased the restaurant. Our experience is very much the opposite of that of Jeffrey S. Only one time my eggs were not to my liking and they immediately volunteered to remake them. They remember their customers and have asked every time if the eggs are the way I like them. Why not give a business owner the respect one would personally expect to receive and speak to the owner directly rather than hide behind a telephone call and negative Yelp review? If Jeffrey S. really wanted to give helpful advice, he would have mentioned the problems with his breakfast immediately and have given Anne's Kitchen a chance to correct what he perceived to be its deficiencies. I went here today and let me tell you!!!! I did not order the pancakes which I should of known better considering the three other people at my table did. When the waitress was sitting the pancakes in front of the people I was with I caught a whiff of them and was like OH MY GOD. I ordered the biscuits and gravy for myself which were good but I took a bite of someone's pancake and my life was forever changed. Those were the BEST pancakes I've ever had in my 26 years of life. Tried Anne's Kitchen today for the first time- it is AMAZING! Four of us had breakfast and we all ordered something different and all meals we equally great! The portions are huge and everything is very fresh and home cooked. We had the breakfast sandwich, cheesy potatoes, sausage gravy, chipped beef on the toast and eggs and sausage. Their sausage is amazing and the cheesy potatoes were great! This is a MUST try! We will definitely add it to our list of favorite breakfast places! read more

Small place that can get crowded. If the weather isn't pleasant, have a backup plan because there is very little room inside to wait for a table. We've been there before when it was understaffed, and our food took a really long time to arrive. When adequately staffed the food is prompt. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. I generally enjoy the food - the breakfast sausage is quite good. The over easy eggs can come out medium though. Overall I'm glad Anne's Kitchen is here, and I hope they stick around. read more

Our most recent visit was on this (11/24/18) Saturday, Given that it was Small Business Saturday we decided to eat At Anne's. This will be our last visit to Anne's. We arrived within an hour of closing time and they informed my husband and I, "That they couldn't serve us because they were watching 'The Game'".
