Food & service was great! Drinks were good as well. Our server was super helpful and friendly. Got 3 meals and a drink for less than $60. 10 out of 10, would definitely recommend

Why did I wait so long to try Anne's? You get the best of a small diner and mexican food. I tried the Ehh and Bologna breakfast and my husband had the breakfast burrito. Both were delicious. The green salsa that came with the buritto was amazing. Will definitely be back. The only thing I was a little sad about was that they didn't have chilaquiles. But that's all on me.

Our favorite diner The staff is excellent, and the food is amazing, including tacos, omelets, pancakes, hash browns, sandwiches, and cinnamon rolls. It is a small location with quick service, so if there is a wait, it won't be long.

Friendly little diner with a great menu. We loved our food and had great service. I had the Ruben Omlet and it was fabulous.

Our drink orders were taken and questions answered. The appetizers were all so good. Bread service was warm and fresh, bruschetta was prepared well and was a good amount of food per order. The pretzel rolls were a big hit as well. Salty but still soft. While relaxing the kids got chilly and Kyle offered them blankets which was a really nice touch. Then came the meal. The kids ordered playbread pizzas (sauce was a little spicy), Mac and cheese (which was devoured), and chicken tenders (good amount for a kids meal!). Adults had the sweet potato pasta (delish! And had a little kick), salmon (which they raved about how flaky and well cooked it way), baked cod (flavorful and prepared well), fried cod (nice and flaky, great batter!), and lemon chicken (chicken was a little dry but overall delicious). The potatoes that came with many meals were crispy and soft, perfectly seasoned. This was a really good meal, and we will definitely be back when in town!

There was a small piece the size of half my pinky finger in each piece of bread which again was not recently toasted. Just a bunch of tomatoes. Sent it back. The calzone had no ricotta only a small amount of mozzarella cheese. The dough was dry and tasted like cornmeal. Not like a calzone from Gabby's in Delaware. And then there was the deconstructed wedge salad. Yuck!

I was early enough for happy hour and had a wonderful Cucumber Gimlet. The service was excellent. I ordered the House Chopped Salad, Lake Erie Walleye, and Lemon Blueberry Panna Cotta. The salad tasted really good and fresh. The Walleye too. I liked the fennel salad with cilantro lime rice. I ate half to take some home and not be too full for dessert. The panna cotta was good, mostly because of the topping. It is not something I would order again, being kind of bland, but to no fault of the kitchen. I'm not a custard-y kind of gal, but wanted to try it. I would definitely come back here for another meal.

Everyone from the hostess to our server was very friendly and nice. They have a full bar and a decent selection of beers. My wife and I decided to share their whipped ricotta appetizer and their French onion burger. The appetizer came with thinly cut crusted baguette. The ricotta cheese was mixed with some strawberry flavor. It wasn't bad but I would have preferred it to be thicker in constituency. The burger and fries came out perfectly cut into half portions for each of us, which was a really nice touch. We had asked for the burger to be cooked medium rare and I think it came out more like a medium well. The patty itself was a bit dry. This may be a one off issue and we hope to return to try some other dishes.

We didn't order drinks and each got an eggs Benedict. Took over 30 minutes for our food and the plates were scorching hot so probably under the heat lamp for a good amount of time. My hashbrown version was supposed to have ham and cheese. I found. One square of ham, and no cheese. by square I mean what you see chopped up on a salad bar. Food was ok, but we had ask for silverware then wait a few minutes for it be delivered. Staff was clearly doing closing duty as there were only 2 other tables occupied. Nobody was paying any attention to each other or tables. I had to excuse myself to get the persons attention to pay.they are so immersed in their clip board they had no idea what was going on. I gave a 2 as my husbands food was fine and mine was not. The restaurant closes at 2 during the week and the lack of service was definitely reflecting their expectations of closing an hour earlier than they actually did. We felt bad for the large group next to us as they waited just as long. We didn't think anyone was in charge as there was not a person paying any attention to items other than their closing duty. We felt invisible.

Some popular items didn't totally hit the mark for us: the Joya's Fried Rice--a huge hit with our friends--was just okay, and the chicken pieces felt pretty average. The double crunch tacos were good, but nothing to write home about. On the other hand, the Joya's Breakfast Sandwich was a solid choice for me, and my daughter absolutely loved it. The real standouts, though, are incredible. The Kati Roll is fantastic, packed with unique flavors and made even better with a dash of their house hot sauce. But the real surprise was the Party Melt smashburger--it was literally one of the best burgers I've ever had.

The pros: -food came out fast -interesting & fun flavors -you have to order first to be able to get a table outside - great vibes & atmosphere -the patio sitting -really like the long counter sitting option -beautiful bathroom w/ thoughtful accommodations -the guy at the counter w/ lip piercings was friendly & had recommendations, but some of the other staff came off as less friendly & overall they're all young. The cons: -it's a bit expensive for what it is -the cocktail was lacking all the flavors it mentioned (& a bit on the weak side) -they don't have their real menu up online to see what they offer (almost half the menu is missing) -not a patio that you can enjoy taking a while on (there is high demand for those tables & there are people that will stand outside waiting for you to get up which was uncomfortable). Overall, the pros outweigh the cons but probably won't ever waste $14 on a cocktail there again. I do look forward to trying more of the menu.

Three words: Country; Fried; Chicken. Wow…read more I decided to stop at this little local place while staying in town for the week based on some solid reviews (and the fact that I made some fried chicken of my own for my family last night but didn't really end up getting any before I left). I started out with a 101 Jungle Bird as I'm a rum drinker and liked the idea of a bourbon-forward one instead. I'll say that this was much more fruity than a Jungle Bird and without the bitterness (no Campari). It also didn't taste very strong but it definitely hit me pretty good. Definitely a tasty-but-dangerous one there. For food, I opted for the Country Fried Chicken. What a fantastic choice indeed. The breast was either butterflied or pounded flat but still thick enough to give a good bite. The outside was cooked to absolute perfection with a crunchy texture without being burned or underdone. The inside was tender and juicy. The whole piece was seasoned beautifully and that was even without any of the delicious white gravy. The Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes that accompanied were similarly well done with great flavor. And the cherry on top was that the portion size was PERFECT. Not a ton of carbs and things that left me feeling beyond full or guilty that I had a bunch of leftover food to likely toss. The seat at the bar was a great place to be. A handful of seats staring at nothing but a huge wall of bourbon. To your back are a series of large high tops and, unfortunately for me, on this night were full of a rather loud group. An unintended side effect of the close quarters but I'm sure not a regular thing. The place is otherwise quite cozy and comfortable and in line with the southern cooking motif. My bartender, Mike, was also very friendly and happy to chat a little about my travels and share our regional sports experiences. All in all, absolutely outstanding. Great food, wonderful staff, and an impressive drink selection. I'm looking forward to coming back here again.
