The patio has a fun, relaxed atmosphere that's perfect when the weather is nice, while the bar is a great place to catch a game with plenty of TVs and an energetic crowd. I continue to be underwhelmed by this place. Wins? Meatballs and bruschetta. Pizza. Losses? A Rueben that evidently they're afraid to put dressing on, for the saddest, thinnest smear of dressing. French onion with a slice of Swiss tossed in top. Just another "some items are delicious, and others are not worth the charging price." The plus? Service has always been awesome. New to the Powell area, Elliot's is a welcome addition to the community. They have a great menu and updates to the old Liberty Tavern have been great. Brightened and energetic environment with a delicous menu and bar. Visit 4-5 times since they opened. Parking is easy with the great lot behind the building and if you do have a wait, it is worth it. Personally enjoy the wood fired pizza and Spicy Fish Entree. Bar options are many and staff is super friendly and attentive. Last week - had a really fun night with Ross as our server and sitting closer to the bar / wall area. Lots of TV and great to see local friends and all ages there. We stopped in for an early lunch with two families with young children as our first time at the restaurant. I'm glad we picked this location. The service was fast and friendly and they quickly sat us at a large table tucked a bit away to ensure we had space and likely didn't disturb other guests. We tried several pizzas and kids meals for the littles. I was pleased with what they had available for the kids as often I've found kids meals are an afterthought. We tried the chicken cilantro and quesadilla pizzas. The chicken cilantro was delicious with chicken still moist and not dried out as ive had in other places. The quesadilla pizza was surprisingly spicy - not unedible - but spicier than we expected. The only issue I might raise with the restaurant is that their pizza and other kitchen don't seem to be in sync. That is to say orders seem to go to the pizza oven independently of other kitchen orders, so if you go with a group, food doesn't come out together and just comes as it is ready. For a casual place, this may be okay, but just something to note. Bottom line, we'll probably be back as the service and food quality was great and is an appropriate venue for families with small children. read more

This remains a strong lunch choice for us every weekend. The Pretzel remains awesome, the French dip soup is excellent, the chicken parm sandwich was good, not great. The service is always solid and the TV's always have on the right sports and I can ask for a switch if they don't. read more

The atmosphere of the new location perfectly blends what Eliot's is known for with the classic style of the original setting. We just moved into the neighborhood and this place blew me away. It's rare to find any pizza places that don't charge you an arm and a leg for extra toppings but this place only charges $1. We got a veggie pizza and added goat cheese and pineapple/arugula. We also ordered the fried portobellos with horseradish. Everything was excellent! I had dinner at Elliot's one night and snagged a seat at the bar since I was dining solo. Their bartender and wait staff were super attentive and welcomed me in as a first timer :) I loved how crispy the wings were and the brussel sprouts also had good flavor. I also tried a shrimp and fish taco since I'm a seafood lover. The restaurant was quite spacious, a good place to catch up with friends or entertain family. Lets start off this place is extremely busy! If you can make a reservation ahead of time do it. We arrived on a Friday night several weeks back no reservation. So we waited it wasn't to bad made 40 minutes. The cheese curds were delicious everyone at the table enjoyed. I started with The Italian sub, Ham, capicola ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, and all the usual toppings. This was so good all the meats were loaded up and it came with fries so how could you go wrong. Two people at the table got their pizza. Now for the big mistake for the life of me I can't remember the ones that they picked. However, picture are in review. We are from the central Columbus area and typically visit Elliot's during soccer tournaments for our son. We look forward to coming between games and enjoying a beer and some food. The pizza is amazing. It's a very thin crust and a bit of the saltier side at times, but man is it good! It is family friendly and we are able to take both our 11 year old and 1 year old with no issues. The service has always been phenomenal. It is a bit on the smaller side, so at times it is harder to get a table in a timely manner, but it is a great spot to try! read more

This in the former Liberty Tavern in Powell. They did a really nice job redoing the interior... spacious, bright, very comfortable seating. Service was timely, and food came out quickly. We shared a garlic bread w/ cheese and a Margherita Pizza. Garlic bread was a bit undercooked, and the tomato dipping sauce is a bit plain. Plenty of cheese. The Margherita pizza was just ok. Also a bit undercooked, crust was not firm at all. Taste was ok. Really want to like this place, we'll give it another try and try different menu items(non pizza) next time. We tried hitting this spot the prior week and the wait was too long. Headed back to try and decided to wait the 45 minutes since it was a nice night out. Solid seating outside the main door while you wait so didn't mind too much. Five minutes into our wait; they called us with a table, which was appreciated. They even switched our seat when we were stuck out in the sun. Service was solid, no complaints. Biggest issue was one of our drinks was wrong, a pizza came without the pepperoni we ordered and my salad came with tomatoes which I asked to remove. None of which was a big deal. The food was just okay; definitely not worth what could have been a 45 minute wait. The bruschetta was solid and the fried pickles were good. The Italian sub inexplicably started getting soggy and the salad was okay but the steak in the steak salad didn't seem very steak-like. So excited to have Elliot's in Powell! An amazing addition to downtown. We went there on their second day open and they already have a well oiled machine. Beautiful remodel inside with the wood fired oven in the dining room. The kids had fun watching them make the pizzas. To starts we had wings as well as fried pickle chips, ravioli, and cheese curds (we had 8 people). Good portion sizes and all were really good! For our pizzas we had pepperoni and sausage and the buffalo chicken. I enjoyed the pepperoni and sausage more than the buffalo, but all very good! Full bar with great beer on tap and cocktails. The owners came over and chatted. They seemed like a really nice family. All the staff were friendly and hard workers. We will for sure be back! Definitely can see this being our new go-to restaurant in Powell! read more

Highly recommended the new Elliot's in Powell, OH!! Went there this week and had the best experience. Food is very good. We had the appetizer meat balls and the deep fried pickles. first off the location, cleanliness, and staff are wonderful. But, the food is cheap with a Hefty price-tag. The Liberty Tavern was a place i loved and frequented for 8-9 years, and when it was replaced with this place i was excited to see a fresh coat of paint and a more upscale, bright place, but the food is gross and just not even half as good as the old Liberty it replaced. Unfortunately the verdict is already in, as today during an OSU game on a beautiful day when most bars are packed, this place was empty, which i should have known was a sign, maybe the next place will bring food quality back. read more

Ambience good. Service fine. Food mediocre at best. I had steak salad--house vinaigrette was very oily with not great taste. The steak was dry, and seemed to me like cubed steak--not good taste. I only ate 1/2 of the salad. I did ask for balsamic vinaigrette dressing which was a little better. My grandson had chicken fingers from the kids menu which looked dry and unappetizing. The service was very good. Since this was our first visit, we had lots of questions. The Wait Staff was friendly and took time to answer all of our questions. She even made recommendations. One recommendation was the French Onion Soup. It was delicious to the point that I've had dreams about it. I can't wait to get back for more. Our visit was at lunchtime during the week. The place was busy but not overly so. The wood fired pizza oven is in the corner. There is comfortable space between tables. Decor wasn't crowded on every wall and tasteful.
