Nail trim only, even though I informed him 3 times while in the chair that I wanted toenail trim only. he pretended to not hear me. each time he asked me if i wanted some service I said no and gestered clearly no! I was very direct 3 times what I wanted. he did not acknowledge what I wanted. he continued with nail centered things he did. at point of payment he was charging me for regular pedicure. when I objected to this charge he said he had the treatment session on video. Toenail trim only is listed on the wall as a service. Although a lovely salon I will not return. they refused to listen and argued that they had video of my service and could prove something. I will not patronize Annies Nails. they are interested in over charging. without permission given by client for treatment. while claiming they have video oc my session! read more

The older man did not listen to what I wanted, acted annoyed (nothing fancy, basic mani-pedi with cat eye gel). My $120 mani-pedi chipped off within 5 days! Will never let a man touch my nails again, and I will NEVER go back to Annie's!!! read more

I cannot come here anymore. The nails literally will fall off. Brand new set will snap off. It happen all day long while I'm at work. Causing pain and bleeding. It was an absolute nightmare! As busy as they were, I was expecting a good outcome. I waited for an hour. I was finally seated then I showed the guy what I wanted. It was an almond shape but I didn't want it completely round like a bubble. I wanted a pointy-ish shape . I've told him twice how I wanted the shape. He already seemed annoyed the first time I told him so I gave up and didn't want to be a "Karen". My nails are chunky and ugly. I still tipped him. Very disappointed with the service i was provided today. My nails were left very thick/chunky and at all different lengths. I definitely will not be going back. Believe it or not Nicole at Walmart (right across the street) did an amazing job prior to this set. If she had something available I would have gone back to her. I called to set an appointment first thing Tuesday morning for my 92 year old grandmother. When I called the female who answered the phone was rather curt and said she was not at the shop yet and would call me back in 15 minutes. 30 minutes later, I called again as I thought maybe due to the fact the receptionist, call taker did not ask for my information, maybe they didn't have my number to call back. This call, she responded with, "I told you I would call back in 15, I am still not at the shop." This ended the call. Now 45 minutes into their business hours, I get a call back to set up the appointment. I advised of the reason for my call to which we were able to get her a 10 o'clock appointment. When we arrived it was easy to identify the call taker as she was still not very welcoming. However, the young female who provided the actual service was very polite and took care of my grandmother's pedicure. read more

I've been here one time two years ago. I agree with the comments posted: gruff and unfriendly. Expensive, not the best pedicure I ever had. They do not massage your legs.The man was hurried and rude. When I headed for a manicure it was awful, fast and no thank you from anyone. I see they are over the top paranoid with virus precautions. I will never go back. I had to go to Annie's after going to pro nails to have my nails fixed because at pro nails Trish was very rude and my nails was so thick. the gentleman that did my Pedicure didn't even put a second Coat on my toe nail spent way too much money and had a miserable time getting my nails done. I must admit I was a little hesitant about going into a nail salon. I'm here to tell you; this place gets a 5 star review for several reasons. The first, they are very strict about who comes in. Upon entering, your temperature is taken, you are asked to fill out a form about your health, hands are sanitized. There are empty booths between clients. The techs are wearing masks under their face shield. They are wearing disposable jumpsuits that are discarded between clients. They threw everything away that was used on me! The personnel are not very friendly and will see nothing wrong in saying they won't serve you if you question them. I called ahead made appointment for mani/pedi and due to time constraints I asked if they could do both at the same time. They said yes. Arrived a few hours later and Annie said we don't do that. I explained that I specifically asked due to time and she said your rude I won't serve you. I apologized and reluctantly got my service done as I had a wedding to attend. It is very unfortunate that while appointments are required, your appointment time is not honored. If I am expected to be on time (and I always am), why can't they be? My time is important and I don't want to be kept waiting. I stopped in at 10:45 hoping to get a manicure and was told I would need an appointment. Next available was 12:00 so I went about my business and came back at 12:00. Sat waiting for ten minutes before leaving. How could they not have known that they would all be busy at 12:00? On a previous visit, they had no record of my appointment even though I had watched Andy put it in their book. Just not very professional. read more

I've come to Annie's now a handful of times. It's usually a hit or miss, if I'm being honest. But I do want to give credit to the nail technician Mai (I believe that was her name, and I may be butchering how it's spelled). She has done my nails on two different occasions, and did an awesome job! The first time was for a quick gel polish change right before my birthday dinner. I was in and out in less than 25 minutes. My nails looked great, as well as held up extremely well for over 4 weeks. This most recent time I came before a Valentine's Day and a styled photo shoot to get an acrylic set with gel polish. It turned out to be a surprise proposal! I was extremely happy with my nails, and have gotten so many compliments on them. It is now almost four weeks, not a single nail has broken or chipped (I am not dainty or careful with my nails either ). So thank you Mai for doing an incredible job both of these times! read more

I came here upon recommendation from the friend I was with who always comes with her mom and enjoys it. When we walked in they greeted us and we waited maybe ten minutes to get seated for a pedicure. However, when we sat down a young child of maybe 10 handed my friend a menu with different foot soaks for her to choose from for her pedicure, I figured they only had one so I waited but when she was done the just took it! They didn't even give me the option to choose if I wanted a soak or not. I looked passed it but angerly, and put my feet in the bath. The water was lukewarm, not even a good temperature to get my feet soft which made it painful when she was cutting the skin around my toes as part of the pedicure. ​My feet are by no means super gross but I​ do work a full-time job and am a student at UNM so I am on them a lot. Every other place I've gone to get pedicures, no matter the lowest grade or a higher one they scrub my feet and get all the dead skin off, but here they scrubbed it for about 10 seconds and left them looking like this! Not to mention their tools, nail files, sponges, and even the metal foot scrubber are reused!! After my nail tech scrubbed my feet she swished the scrubber in MY foot water a few times and put it back in her bucket! I don't​ know about anyone else but that seems pretty unsanitary to me! I wanted to give this place at least two stars because my toenail polish doesn't​ look bad and they have a nice selection but ​I just can't​. My nail tech messed up my nail a little bit at the top and left it and when I asked her to fix it she sighed very audibly and was not happy to fix HER mistake, but she did fix it. I went to Annie's nails for a last minute pedi with my mom. We didn't have to wait long to get started. My artist did great and was quick. My moms pedicurist stopped in the middle of her pedicure and after 10 minutes, someone else came in a finished it. They did a great job but that part was awkward. read more

Very very very rude and super super long wait what a waste of time. Even though I had an appointment, It took an hour and a 1/2 for them to do a pedicure. That included the waiting around while helping others. I asked if it could take no more than another hour to do my nails and they said that was not enough time so I had to leave. I also told them I did not want my fingernails to soak in Polish remover to get my old nails off and they did it anyway. I had to leave to pick up my kids so I just had to wipe the Polish remover off and pick the rest of my nails off by myself and I'll have to get them finished some place else. Had a great pedicure with Nancy a few weeks ago so why not go back and get a full set and another pedicure... horrible experience pedi was eh ok .. Nancy was busy with another customer had a male work on my feet seemed like he was in a hurry the whole time , my nails are so bad I could cry ! While doing my nails he was on the phone with his son, again rush rush .. my nails are horrible! My gel polish has bubbles .. I mean $100! Will definitely never be back! Stay away! read more
