Very rude horrible customer service. A lady before me complained that she does not normally pay taxes, after they argued with her she left angry. When she left, they continued to talk about her. They asked me "When you buy something do you expect to pay taxes?". Unprofessional. I showed them a picture of the nails I wanted and she showed her co-workers and they all laughed. Not sure why they laughed if they could not even get the design right. Don't recommend to anyone unless you would like to pay for bad service and to be made fun of. read more

Everytime I come here my nails come out worse and worse. After not going for a few months I decided to give them another chance. Originally I wanted a pedicure and a full set, but after seeing signs, "prices have gone up due to rent changes" after their prices were high enough, I figured I'd just do a gel manicure. Well the water for my feet/toes was ICE COLD, I asked the lady nicely to make it hotter and she said okay, THEN PROCEEDED TO DO NOTHING. She rushed the whole thing and my feet are still dry and now a little itchy after an hour of leaving with messy nail polish. With the manicure, once again cold water. I told her i like my nails really square and the same length. What does she do? Filed all of them down and some are even round. After everything the total came out to $60. I remember getting mani pedi's for almost $30-40 at other places by people who actually took care of you and knew what they were doing. I do not recommend coming here. read more

What horrible CUSTOMER SERVICE, I had a pedicure and my nails done their, right before I left I noticed the girl that had done my pedicure forgot to wash off the crap they clean your legs with. Ok do I get my bails done horrible job but they were very busy and i just thought maybe that's why, i go home and the next day the nail polish on one of my fingers came off. I went back a couple of days later and asked him to fix my nails the girl was very rude I asked her why would this have happened she told me because I am old. I asked if she could make through my two thumbs look alike because they didn't when I left that Saturday and she yelled at me and said to wait that she was not done filing.At that time she was talking in their language Vietnamese and I told her that I knew they were talking about me and I did not appreciate it she said yes we are because you gave me some excuse that I didn't let her finish her job without me asking a question. I will never ever go back and be treated as bad as they treated me I will never recommend this place to anyone at all. I told her just that and she said you can go where ever you want I don't care, so I will tell all my friends and family about this place in Bernalillo called Annies horrible horrible,Service not professional at all and they do a terrible job on your nails. if i could give it a zero star i would but i had to enter something. i will never go back. read more

Rushed through and the polish looks like I did it myself. I'd try somewhere else. The person I went with took as much time to get her pedi as I did with a mani and pedi. Polish is streaky and blobby. read more

The staff are polite and professional. The girl that did my nails was attentive to the design I wanted. She studied it, and wanted to make sure it is what i wanted. My complaints are that it took a lottle longer than expected (over an hour) and it was a bit pricey. A manicure for $40? (Including $5 tip) Wow. read more

At first I thought this place was great. Very polite staff and nice interior. I waited 2 hours and they kept taking regular customers over me who had been waiting forever just for a new set of acrylics. Within 5 days of having my nails 3 nails broke off. I came in to get them fixed. They charged me $10 FOR THEIR MISTAKE. The night I got them fixed the three she fixed broke off. I barely tapped them and they feel off. I hit a speed bump and my nail barely hit the steering wheel the nail broke and bled all over the place. 0/10 do not recommend waste of time and money. Okay... first things first... the work they do is ok....but... the prices are astronomical! We are new to the Bernalillo area we decided on Annie's because they were rated higher than the others in the area, but for the prices they charge, there's NO WAY we will be back. Pedicure regular $25.00 (very basic they dont even massage your feet) You can pay either 6.00 or 8.00 extra for the "deluxe" which allows you to pick a scented pack of soak, scrub and lotion (which these items should always be included anyways) gel polish that is an additional $15.00, if you do matte polish that is another $5.00, my daughter did "three dots" on her big toe for another $4.00 so my 11 year olds pedicure was over $50!!! Now... her gel manicure was $35 a little high but to be expected I guess, another $5.00 for again the 3 dots to match her feet plus matte polish of $5.00 for a $45.00 manicure. 1.) They didn't tell us matte was more they didn't tell us the "3 dots on one toe" was more... I completely understand charging more for art work but at least me the prices appropriate for the work being done. Now... on to me... Pretty much the same as above so I had a deluxe pedicure with regular polish $33.00. I told the lady I wanted it "matte" like 5 times she said "ok ok" When my nails were shiny I asked why they weren't matte... she couldn't understand me... I went to sit her station so she could do my manicure gels while my feet dried (annoyed that they weren't matte) but figured they would put a top coat on after they dried to make them matte. My gel manicure went on... it was fine for $35.00 plus $5.00 for matte (40.00 get manicure) Not great, had polish on the sides of cuticles but no big deal... she did my nails matte and I asked about my toes being matte to another worker they said "oh sorry we cant do matte on regular polish just gel". 2. I wish I would have known this... I wouldn't of spent the extra $5.00 on matte for my hands since now they dont match my feet!!! Grrr... plus they never ever said matte was extra. Long story short... THIS PLACE NICKLE AND DIMES YOU! $170.00 for two gel nail manicures, 1 gel pedicure and 1 regular nail polish pedicure... Of course I tipped even though I wasnt happy and they over charge... because that's the right thing to do. So I left spending $200.00 for mediocre work. NO BUENO read more

Just got my nails done at this place the lady that did my nails was nice but didn't listen and didn't do what I wanted. The older guy that cleaned off my old gel with a drimmel burnt me a few times and almost took off my finger with it. The gel machine also burnt my nails because it was too hot. Needless to say this was the worst experience I've had thus far getting my nails done and I will never go back again!!! read more

I went to Annie's literally after walking out of another nail place in Bernalillo after a bad experience. I was heading to a beach vacation and wanted a pedicure to ensure my feet were ready for flip flops and laying out by the sea. The difference between the bad salon and Annie's was night and day. Annie's was extremely clean, friendly, and prompt. The staff were well dressed and professional. I was taken care of immediately and left happy. We're lucky to have this place in this part of town. Enjoyed it!! I went with the top of the line pedicure. Your soak, scrub, lotion, and mud mask are all coordinated, toy pick them, and they come from little packets. My legs are super smooth. She got out some ingrown nails too. Price was only 30 bucks (roughly 5 bucks more than basic pedi). Cleanliness? Average. Tools went right back into a a box. Didn't see anything get baked in the sanitizer. My solution is to bake under the uv light and I always wash my feet with diluted bleach when I get home anyways. I'll come back. read more

Annie is the only person I will ever trust my nails with!! I've been coming to her for 11 years now since before she even opened her own salon! Strayed away for a while when I had moved to Albuquerque but will never do that again. She does a fantastic job and she's such a wonderful person as well! Since Annie's nails is close to my home I have tried going there a couple of times with little success. Today they were opening earlier than my now go to salon so I tried it once again. I got a pedicure backwards due to the fact that I am sure the older gentleman who took care of my callouses and did the massage is not licensed. Then I watched an elementary school aged boy clean the pedicure bowls next to me. I will never return. read more

I usually have a great experience when Annie is there. She's very friendly, spends the time to get to know me and always does a great job. I usually go for waxes and after several weeks of being busy I finally stopped in. I walked in, and there was a group of ladies right behind me. All of us wanted waxes and were asked to sit. We sat and then she came out and called them in for theirs. I work in customer service so it didn't even bother me that I was there first. Then, she comes back out and proceeds to talk to her appointment customer again not even acknowledging me. I stand up and say I was waiting for a wax too, she responds by asking if I can wait because she has a nail appointment at 4, it was 3:56 and the lady there for the appointment wasn't even ready. I already waited 15 minutes... for an eyebrow wax that takes about 5. Honestly never been treated so rudely and will take my business elsewhere. read more

Avoid this place. Unsanitary (one communal nail brush at the wash sink with no antibacterial liquid) and without artisanship. Had to leave before getting polish on because the woman ran the rotary file through the base of my nailbed. Ouch. Awful. read more

I have been going to this nail salon on and off for 2 years but, yesterday was my final time!! Two ladies in this salon are really mean/grouchy....even the owner! Dirty salon and smells like food. I couldn't even imagine what their waxing looks like. They act like they are doing you a favor! Also, they do not sanitize their instruments after each client! I witnessed yesterday one lady rinsing with water and throwing it back in her plastic box....ewww, disgusting! Nice way to get an infection, Annie's Nails! If I could give it negative stars...mmmm...probably negative 10. I am hoping they build new nail salon's in this area so, we have more options and maybe some of these salons will clean up. read more

I came to Annie's to get my eyebrows done and they did not do what I asked for, they made them super thin and they made my eyebrows lose there shape completely!!! I do not recommend if you're getting you're eyebrows done! Such a disappointment! read more
