I had a friend mention this place. He said they always got carry out pizza from here. I've been in the Portland area on Monday's recently & tried it out today. I was not disappointed at all. The pizza I had was delicious. The ingredients looked & tasted fresh and high quality. I can't wait to try something else out on their menu!

PORTLAND LOCATION! If I could give zero stars, I would. Placed an order last night 11/29/18, for 2Med Pizzas, before going to sleep for work. I work 3rd shift. 1st - 2x Sausage with Extra Cheese. 2nd - Pep & Sausage with Extra Cheese The 2x Sausage was for the family to eat. The Pep & Sausage was mine to have for lunch while at work. After I placed and paid for the pizzas by card, I, went to sleep. When I woke up, I ate the last slice of 2x Sausage that was in the box, on my way out the door. During my lunch break is when I had 1 slice of the Pep & Sausage, and discovered the pizza had no bottom bake. The bottom is not cooked, as u can see in the pics. It's to the point, that the cutter didnt even cut the slices, because it was too doughy. The top of the pizza looks amazing. I never thought to look at the bottom of a pizza when it comes. It's just somethin, that's always right, when it arrives at the door. It was 2am, and obviously, they were closed. So, when I got off, I tried calling the store. Little to my surprise, they dont open until 3pm. Called the store today, was telling the woman who answered the phone, she treated me like a piece of shit. No concern whatsoever. Asked me if I had called last night about the pizza? I told her no, that they were closed. She tells me, "SHE" wouldve called "RIGHT AWAY" if her pizza was raw, as if I was telling a damn lie. I told her it was no way for me to speak with anyone, so I saved the pizza, as proof, but since i didnt call "last night", it was nothing they could do. Was told, if I had called, "last night", then they wouldve made me a new pizza and sent it out. When I told her the pizza was raw with no bottom bake, she told me that's how their pizzas are. A TOTAL FUCKIN LIE. Maybe the bottom burners had went out. I dont know. But, I know one thing, the bottom isnt cooked, and the pizza is very doughy, under the toppings. Treating me like I was trying to steal from them, was unacceptable. Not every person that calls with a concern, is trying to get something for FREE. All I wanted was to call it in, take them this pizza, and to pick up the new one. I didnt want a driver bring a free order. I asked her what should I do with this raw pizza, she said she didnt know, it wasnt her pizza. It shouldnt matter when I called back with a concern, as long as I had the product, that's all that should matter. Pictured are the pizzas when they came, after the pizzas came, the empty box of the good pizza, then the bottom of the raw pizza, so you can see the rawness. Along, with my proof of purchace. We use Annie's for our work functions. 30-40 pizzas. Never again!

Very low prices and pretty good food. Deep in the heart of Portland. Only thing I don't like is they charge for garlic butter.

So, you might think...ah, cool, enjoy your canned soup and turkey sandwich, I'll go to a "real" restaurant. This would be foolish. The food is every bit as good as you'll find in a more traditional, for-profit setup. They focus on locally sourced ingredients and have a seasonal menu as a result. The food is delicious. Menu is delightfully trim but with something for every taste (salads, soups, sandwiches, sides). Had some meatloaf sliders with pimento cheese when I was there that I'd like to replicate at home. My friends raved about their selections as well. Service is amazingly friendly and attentive. I'm not sure anyone's glass dropped below half-full. And the servers were happy to share the stories behind the concept, which showed the pride they had in the venture. Everyone is welcome here. Might have a table of folks in suits next to a table of folks stopping in from their factory shift next to a table with someone who's looking for a good meal and will be washing dishes after he eats to pay his fare. Just welcoming, casual, good-feeling place.

It had lots of shredded chicken, beans and corn (which could have been left out in my opinion). My friend had the chicken salad sandwich and the white chili and said her sandwich was good, also a very large. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, parking on the side and in the back of the building. It's a 10/10 for every menu item that I sampled and rates up there with the barbecue that I happen to love (Texas hill country near New Braunfels). We started with fried green tomato appetizer, which had a nice cornmeal crunch and zesty toothsome green veggie interior. Accompanying remoulade sauce was just right. Second round was an order of 5 smoked wings with bourbon BBQ sauce. Best smoked wings I've had because of the perfumed and tender moist meat with each bite. Nice sized (and none of that rubbery gross skin I've had everywhere else) and order had choice of ranch or blue cheese, as well as celery sticks. Celery did seem a little tough and a tad stringy, but I chose to ditch it. Finally, we did a sampler of 4 ribs, smoked chicken leg quarter, and generous portion of pulled pork with 2 sides. A+ x3! The ribs had been cooked for the proper length of time to allow for fall-off-the-bone conditions, tender, meaty, smoky, nice bark, just enough sauce to enhance and not detract from the delectable smoky flavor. The pulled pork likewise included some bark in the portion and was yummy flavor. Included sliced tangy pickles, red onions rings, and a couple of containers of extra sauce. The chicken quarter is reminiscent of some that I get at an annual summer fire department fundraiser with a secret mopping sauce .... always sells out .... in a community located over an hour away. Trust me -- I'm saying A LOT here. ;) I ordered sides of braised collard greens and roasted sweet potatoes, but discovered we'd ended up with the greens and a sub of Mac 'n cheese when I arrived home. No complaints and have to say the sides are also stellar. Not ashamed to say that even the greens potlikker wasn't wasted. (Wished that the cornbread had also been included in the order -- another slight oversight.) The Mac'n cheese was perfect texture, super cheesy, and we were wowed by the type of pasta used since it was substantial and held its own with the sauce. I was in my happy place as soon as I pulled up to the parking lot on Burnett Avenue on a weekday and met with smoky aroma. Went inside the nondescript building to order at the counter and enjoyed iced tea and chatting with the welcoming, friendly staff while it was prepped. Price point is competitive and great value for amount and quality of food. We will be back and already looking forward to it.

I ordered a burger and the cheesesteak egg rolls. The burger was cooked medium-well, just how I wanted it, and it definitely hit the spot. The fries were seasoned well, and the cheesesteak egg rolls were really good too. They came with a house sauce that paired perfectly with them. The restaurant had plenty of seating, and the overall atmosphere was comfortable and laid back. Most importantly, the food delivered when I was craving a good burger. Overall, I had a very good experience and don't really have any negatives to mention. If I'm back in Louisville, I'd definitely stop by again and try some of the other items on their menu. If you're looking for a local spot with good food and a relaxed vibe, I'd say this place is worth checking out.

Even the water deserves a mention. It was clean, crisp, and refreshing. If it came straight from the tap, I would have never known. It's a small detail, but it speaks to the overall dining experience when even something as simple as water stands out. The service was great, and the atmosphere was lively and welcoming. It's easy to see why this restaurant has built such a strong reputation. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 comes down to accessibility. As a person with a disability, parking can make or break a dining experience. Unfortunately, there was no handicap parking available, and there were no nearby parking spots open when I arrived. I ultimately had to park in a hotel lot about a block away, which cost $25 for just two hours. Not only was the cost frustrating, but the additional distance was challenging given my mobility needs. The food was phenomenal and absolutely worth trying, but I do hope accessibility becomes part of the conversation for future guests. For those without mobility concerns, this may not be an issue, but for disabled patrons, it's something important to consider before visiting.
