My friend and I decided to come here after seeing their menus over at nearby Kyros Brewery. I've known about Annie's for years as to where my friend never heard of the place. There is another one on Cane Run Road that I used to go to quite a bit years ago when I worked close to there. We actually came here with the intention of dining in, we were very surprised to see it looked as if the place was going under some kind of renovation. There were very limited seating options, one seat was taken over by delivery bags and the other was taken by someone already waiting for their order. There was on tv in the whole place as well. We placed our order to go and actually had to sit in the window sill since there was no other seating. I probably should've done some further investigation before coming here because I didn't know everything was torn out. As we were waiting we talked to some employees and were told renovations were on hold after one of the owners father passed away which is understandable. And one of them even discussed their personal life with us. We get that everyone is going through something but, not sure I'd tell my personal problems to people we don't know let alone customers. We finally get our order from one of the employees who apparently recognized us from our first visit to Kyros which was about 2 weeks before coming here, we sure didn't remember him and felt bad about it. We actually went to nearby Kyros and was able to snag a picnic table to eat at. My friend got the homemade lasagna and I got a personal pizza and the cheese breadsticks. My friend loved the lasagna but didn't try the garlic bread. I of course enjoyed my personal pizza and cheese breadsticks. They were as delicious as I remembered. We definitely plan on returning to eat there or just go to Kyros and eat it. Hopefully their inside will be coming along. Great food by the way. read more

I ordered a Philly steak on 08/27/2024 an my Philly steak was burnt an there was no steak on my sandwich....it was hard as a brick. This is my last time ordering anything from Annie's in Portland the few times my pizza was not good I'm completely done with this restaurant. This is one pizza place I can say I have never had a problem with. The orders are always on time and the price is great. Pizza is always hot and flavorful. Only reason I won't give this place 5 stars is because the inside really needs to be fixed and updated. Before COVID I went in side and I always felt like I was going to fall through the floor. PORTLAND LOCATION! If I could give zero stars, I would. Placed an order last night 11/29/18, for 2Med Pizzas, before going to sleep for work. I work 3rd shift. 1st - 2x Sausage with Extra Cheese. 2nd - Pep & Sausage with Extra Cheese The 2x Sausage was for the family to eat. The Pep & Sausage was mine to have for lunch while at work. After I placed and paid for the pizzas by card, I, went to sleep. When I woke up, I ate the last slice of 2x Sausage that was in the box, on my way out the door. During my lunch break is when I had 1 slice of the Pep & Sausage, and discovered the pizza had no bottom bake. The bottom is not cooked, as u can see in the pics. It's to the point, that the cutter didnt even cut the slices, because it was too doughy. The top of the pizza looks amazing. I never thought to look at the bottom of a pizza when it comes. It's just somethin, that's always right, when it arrives at the door. It was 2am, and obviously, they were closed. So, when I got off, I tried calling the store. Little to my surprise, they dont open until 3pm. Called the store today, was telling the woman who answered the phone, she treated me like a piece of shit. No concern whatsoever. Asked me if I had called last night about the pizza? I told her no, that they were closed. She tells me, "SHE" wouldve called "RIGHT AWAY" if her pizza was raw, as if I was telling a damn lie. I told her it was no way for me to speak with anyone, so I saved the pizza, as proof, but since i didnt call "last night", it was nothing they could do. Was told, if I had called, "last night", then they wouldve made me a new pizza and sent it out. When I told her the pizza was raw with no bottom bake, she told me that's how their pizzas are. A TOTAL FUCKIN LIE. Maybe the bottom burners had went out. I dont know. But, I know one thing, the bottom isnt cooked, and the pizza is very doughy, under the toppings. Treating me like I was trying to steal from them, was unacceptable. Not every person that calls with a concern, is trying to get something for FREE. All I wanted was to call it in, take them this pizza, and to pick up the new one. I didnt want a driver bring a free order. I asked her what should I do with this raw pizza, she said she didnt know, it wasnt her pizza. It shouldnt matter when I called back with a concern, as long as I had the product, that's all that should matter. Pictured are the pizzas when they came, after the pizzas came, the empty box of the good pizza, then the bottom of the raw pizza, so you can see the rawness. Along, with my proof of purchace. Affordable meatball sub. Friendly eat-in service. It doesn't get much better than camo paper plates. Who needs those boring white ones? Not me! If you are going to get pizza or a sub, support a family owned place (over 24 years) not Domino's or Papa Johns. Good food horrible customer service, ordered pizza for company with help of lady on phone tried to explain what needed and price and insisted what I needed, once I realized she had advised me of the more expensive option and not one needed called to rememdy the situation. They were very rude and said all they could do was to cook the correct pizza as well as the one and charge us for both. After back and forth they said they were throwing out the original order and that we could not order from them again. She refused to take my order and once someone else called they refused their order as well because it was same company. I have never had any business refuse money before. read more

This place known as Annie's Pizza is an absolutely amazing place to eat with the family. Me and my family go there to eat a lot but the prices have recently gone up. That makes this review only four stars. Annie's is a pizza place that has amazing workers and really nice ones too. If you go there you will not get mistreated or ignored. But yet again the prices have gone up to $10 per large pizza. So I would suggest it to you but you will need some money. read more

When you walk in they do greet you which is a plus because alot of places in the Portland area dont greet you as you come into there business but after I ordered got all the way home the lady got the order wrong and I had to walk back to get the pizza that they messed up on and when i asked to speak to someone i was placed on hold with a rude attitude!!! On July 3, 2016 at 6pm I attempted to phone in an order to take advantage of a coupon in the latest Portland Anchor. While placing my order, the woman who later identified herself as the manager, interrupted me to swear at a counter customer using the "F" word. When she returned, she refused to honor the coupon saying it was a misprint, whereupon I cancelled my order and also got cursed out using the "F" word. When I called back asking for a manager, she said she was the manager and cussed me out a second time. These people neither need nor value your business since they can afford to toss away customers forever. There have been multiple complaints online from customers who have been cussed out by this manager, yet she remains on staff. read more

Food is good, customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE! I called in to place an order of a side of Seasoned Potato Wedges and a Philly Cheese sub for delivery. I was told the food should arrive within 45 minutes to an hour. 2 hours later... I called the store asked for a manager which she was already speaking. I explained I ordered my food 2 hours ago and I still have not received my order. She asked for my address and put me on hold for about 10 seconds, came back and said the driver had already left. I said "okay great, thanks" and hung up thinking the food should arrive any minute because my work is located 4.8 miles away which is a 10 minute drive, 15 minutes MAX from Annies. 10 minutes go by... 20 minutes go by... 30 minutes go by... 40 minutes go by and I still do not have my order. So I pick up the phone and call again. Same "Manager" answers and i say "It's me again calling about my order, it's been over 2 hours and 40 minutes" she responded with "you still haven't gotten you food?" I think that made me more mad than not having my food. You're a manager and your response to a customer complaint is "you still haven't gotten your food?" Never received an apology, a coupon, a refund, anything. She then said "Hold on a minute, let me call the driver." As she is calling the driver on the other line the driver pulls up. I walked out to greet him to grab my COLD food that had been sitting around for 2 hours. He apologizes and tells me that he is the only driver today that the other 2 drivers just didn't show up and no one knows where they are and that he is doing the best he can. He then states "The next time you order we will give you a 50% discount" I just looked at him and said there won't be a next time, I'll order else where. Was not a very good experience AT ALL!! I have to be honest you're getting what you pay for cheap pizza. You're not getting Papa Johns quality so don't get your hopes up. My parents buy their pizza all the time because it's affordable in nearby almost waited an hour and cinnamon sticks doing a pickup. I do love there cinnamon sticks. When you call to make a delivery I'm always put on hold the lady is rude. I'm not a big fan of tomato sauce. They load the pizza with tomato sauce to make it look thicker it is also very greasy nothing huge fan read more
