As you drive up, you're welcomed with classic Greek blue and white colors.

The restaurant was very clean, and the food was delicious! The service was excellent. We were warmly greeted and the restaurant was clearly full of local regulars. It felt homey. There's also an in-house bakery. Everything feels homemade and there is attention to details from the artwork of Santorini on the wall to the Grecian urn in the corner of the restaurant. Family photos adorn the wall as you enter the restaurant.

The breakfast menu had more options than we anticipated. The food was good and the service was also good. The place was clean and comfortable. It was nice.

Best breakfast we've had in a long time!! My friend and I shared an order of crêpes which had custard and fresh blueberries and strawberries so light the perfect amount of sweetness with a side of bacon and we also shared the California omelette which was such a delicious combo- avocado onions tomato Swiss and bacon with a dollop of sour cream just went so well together! The place is absolutely adorable inside, cute bar area. They have tables and booths as well. We'll definitely be back!

After visiting the jeweler next door, we were looking for dinner and decided to try Annoula's Taverna! They had a great variety of Greek dishes on their menu, and everything was pretty tasty that we had. For a while it was just my family and I in the dining room, but as it grew more into the dinner hour on a Friday night, it seemed like a lot of regulars began to arrive. One critique that we had was that the dip platter didn't have nearly enough pita or veggies, and though we asked for another round of pita, that wasn't even really enough to finish the dips. We saved it to have with our meals so as not to waste it. My dad said his lamb chops weren't very flavorful and my mom said her Pastitsio (Greek lasagna) was a bit dry and needed more sauce. It's nice that there's an option for Greek in Woodbury, and the vibe is bright and inviting with almost a diner feel. I'd be curious to come back and try their breakfast menu sometime.

Very cute little restaurant. Joann is great and the French onion soup here is so tasty. My friend said the other soup was okay and actually wished he got the French onion. I'd come back to try more

    Biscuits and gravy

Delicious biscuits and gravy and corned beef. The biscuits and gravy with eggs were flavorful with perfectly cooked eggs. The corned beef omelet had crispy corned beef and the right amount of cheese. Can't wait to go back and try other items.

Son ordered a Benedict meal and my vegan daughter-in-law and I ordered veggie quiche. Our only issue was the high noise level. Outside the restaurant is a golf course and the restaurant is surrounded by beautiful gardens and amply parking! This place is busy !! I would make reservations ahead of time if they allow. I was invited here for a retirement brunch. Our waitress was amazing and on top of our table and knew her menu in and out. The restaurant is lively and bright. Small inside and I only saw 2 single stall bathrooms. The food options are so good that you really have a hard time choosing an entree. (Wish there were sides added to the menu and iced coffee). I went with the Cajun shrimp salad which included a grilled roman. Super filling and very satisfying for those that love a crunchy salad. Shrimp was a little overcooked. My friend got the Nutella crepe and she loved it except there was a lot of nuts. The espresso martini was delicious!!! All food came out quickly!! I want to go back soon !! Oh and they advertised 90s music brunch at the end of each month. Yeah I'll be attending!!

It's that good. Food quality/price (value) rating 10. The atmosphere is classic family friendly diner. I stopped here after I just happened to pass by while headed to a friends house and decided I could eat some breakfast. I'm very happy that I did. The place was bustling on a Saturday morning and I was probably lucky to get a seat at the counter. By the time I had finished breakfast, there was a waiting line out the door which is always a good sign. The owner and Griddle Master, Peter, and his wife Stephanie, have operated this diner at this location for more than thirty years! I had the breakfast special of two eggs, HOMEMADE CORNED BEEF HASH (like striking gold), homefries, and bakery fresh rye toast - incredible! Probably the best breakfast I've had in years, seriously. The corned beef hash was properly crispy, as were the homefries, which rarely occurs at most diners even when requested. There were at least five people keeping the customers happy, and the staff and customers were all friendly and talkative. That is a bonus found only in small country towns like Southbury, a small New England postcard quality town right off Interstate 84 exit 15. If you're looking for a truly old time experience that is rare these days, run here as soon as you can. I guarantee that you won't be disappointed! I will be bringing the wife back very soon. Closed Mondays.

The place is small and is shaped like an old school diner, located in the corner of an intersection I've passed many times but never noticed the diner. The atmosphere was family friendly, clean, and fun to be in. The staff, which is family, were so sweet and attentive and right there when you needed them. I ordered their churro French toast and chilaquiles. The French toast is everything the hype around it is, and the chilaquiles, my first time trying them ever, were out of this world. The chips were covered in sauce but somehow still crispy, despite how long it took me to get through the dish. I got their freshly squeezed juice of the day which was beet based and I loved it. There is no doubt I'll be going back here, great food and great experience, thank you Agave !
