    Fish and fries sandwich
    Yukiko F.

It's a really small shop in front of a car repair shop. I had to fix my car and wanted to grab a coffee. Then entering the shop, I found they have really nice sandwiches. I ordered a fish and fries sandwich that came with a 8 inch sub with fries. The fish was perfectly done as inside of the fish is so tender and the surface is crunchy panko. Potatoes are crunchy on surface yet soft inside as well. Korean-owned restaurants are always tasty but this is definitely a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Next time I will try bulukogi sandwich.

Great food, I got the half smoke. The employees were very nice, and overall great value for food. The price is amazing, and overall a 10/10

So I got to work a little early today and jumped on yelp to see if I could grab a quick bite and not have to go far and go from being early to late and I got exactly what I dreamt up . The food was good and came out very fast . Extremely clean dining area and the bathroom as well. The staff was very friendly quick and efficient . Not much more can be asked for from a little spot like this. I'll be back soon !

Went here to get a sub it was awesome. The staff, cooks and servers were all so nice. Very welcoming as soon as you walk through the door! I bought a 6" ham and cheese sub and a sweet tea. The sub was fresh and delicious filled with so much ham and American white cheese with just the right amount of mayo. The best sweet tea ever, not too sweet- made with just a hint of sugar, perfect! I found a diamond in the rough. So glad I stumbled upon this little cafe shop.

Grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries...a classic at a great price!

I wandered into La…read morePoteria while on the way to Harper's Ferry; I'm not entirely sure how Montgomery Village, MD was perfectly on our route from DC to West Virginia, but I'm so grateful that it was. La Poteria was the perfect midpoint to grab our morning caffeine fix and a bite to eat before we hit the Harpers Ferry hiking trails. The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.

Amazing vibes and service was great! We ordered the chai latte, gingerbread latte and Pan de waffle Sanguchito and Perro Caliente to share. The lattes were delicious and flavorful. It was a good way to start the Sunday morning. The pan de waffle sanguchito was amazing, probably my favorite! The waffle had a mochi texture and reminded me of cheese bread, pao de queijo. Filled with ham, cream cheese and provolone, each bite perfectly balanced with the flavors. The perro caliente is a Colombian hot dog was surprisingly good! Everything worked so well together, it had onions, chips, pineapple sauce, mozzarella cheese and garlic/ketchup mayo sauce. Very impressed by the quality of the food and I cannot wait to get the pan de waffle again! If you're into cafes and looking for cool hidden gems, definitely try this place out!

It was towards the end of the night for them on a weekday, and I just wanted a gin soda. It's a rare occasion for me to he asked whether I want a single or double. So I enjoyed that, and noticed how big the place actually is. I feel like the only thing it's missing is a pool table, haha (unless I missed it). They have an excellent happy hour that I would love to try if I was in the area, but it's kind of far from home. Based on recent reviews, things do seem to be mixed, and I didn't try the food. But I most likely will the next time that I go, whenever that is. I appreciate it the friendly staff, the music, and the vibe of the place and I would recommend it to anyone in the area for drinks at least.

When we walked in, nostalgia hit me since the inside of this place looks like a place my family used to frequent in Florida. A younger guy came over to us, we told him there was five in our party and he said he would have to talk to his manager even though there were five or six open tables in view. We got a bigger table near the stage area where the bluegrass band set up for the night. The staff seemed straight up frazzled. It was hard to get our servers attention and had to follow up with requests for a few items throughout the night. I got the buffalo tenders and fries and it was passable but barely any sauce and unfortunately that's one of the items that I requested and never got. It took a while too so this one goes onto my list of "I just want to give you money". It. Seems like a lot of the locals love it and have a history here which I love and would love if we had a positive experience but from here on out this place will stay outta the way of memories (I couldn't resist).
