Wednesday 9/11/2024 I was pretty interested in this spot after my previous experiences with restaurants like blt grill & tasty nook cafe (places that make home cooked type of meals). I made a takeout order through their website and got the steak & cheese with seasoned fries $10.95, 3 slice French toast $5.95, bacon egg & cheese croissant sandwich $4.95, and western omelette $9.95. First issue, I ordered toppings for my steak n cheese but all I got was a basic and below average steak n cheese. Second issue, I expected the croissant sandwich to be bigger it was half the size of what i usually get. Third and final issue, the food is not good at all as it ranges from flat out bad to average at BEST. Definitely wouldn't come back or recommend at all.

It's a really small shop in front of a car repair shop. I had to fix my car and wanted to grab a coffee. Then entering the shop, I found they have really nice sandwiches. I ordered a fish and fries sandwich that came with a 8 inch sub with fries. The fish was perfectly done as inside of the fish is so tender and the surface is crunchy panko. Potatoes are crunchy on surface yet soft inside as well. Korean-owned restaurants are always tasty but this is definitely a hidden gem in the middle of nowhere. Next time I will try bulukogi sandwich.

Great food, I got the half smoke. The employees were very nice, and overall great value for food. The price is amazing, and overall a 10/10

So I got to work a little early today and jumped on yelp to see if I could grab a quick bite and not have to go far and go from being early to late and I got exactly what I dreamt up . The food was good and came out very fast . Extremely clean dining area and the bathroom as well. The staff was very friendly quick and efficient . Not much more can be asked for from a little spot like this. I'll be back soon !

Went here to get a sub it was awesome. The staff, cooks and servers were all so nice. Very welcoming as soon as you walk through the door! I bought a 6" ham and cheese sub and a sweet tea. The sub was fresh and delicious filled with so much ham and American white cheese with just the right amount of mayo. The best sweet tea ever, not too sweet- made with just a hint of sugar, perfect! I found a diamond in the rough. So glad I stumbled upon this little cafe shop.

Grilled chicken sandwich with a side of fries...a classic at a great price!

La Poteria was the perfect midpoint to grab our morning caffeine fix and a bite to eat before we hit the Harpers Ferry hiking trails. The cafe was beautifully decorated with marble tables, a ton of plants, and plenty of couches and cozy armchairs. There was a ton of natural light from the giant windows, but they also had a number of aesthetic hanging lights, some of which were exposed bulbs and others of which were in little wicker baskets. As far as the food and drink goes, I loved their latte. The coffee was rich and not overly acidic, and it was strong enough that you could still appreciate the chocolatey, nutty undertones under the generous helping of steamed milk and foam. I also loved the little heart sprinkle they added in the center of the mug -- such a cute final touch! My friend and I also split two of their savory items, the cheese arepa and spinach and feta empanada. The empanada was a little different than what I was used to, as it was super flaky and buttery, with an almost croissant or puff pastry-like dough. It was delicious and the savory feta went wonderfully with the spinach and the slightly peppery mayo-based sauce they served it with. The arepa was also lovely, with a generous helping of gooey melted cheese on top of the slightly chewy, slightly sweet corn-based flatbread.

The dirty chai hot or cold is delicious and both chicken and beef and chicken empanadas are tasty. The empanadas are flaky and come with a sauce thats a bit spicy but is perfect with the empanadas. I typically take my order to go but often see people dining in. This is my go to spot for quick bite and caffeinated drink!

The food was pretty great, a little pricey tbh, but at least it's good! Most of their coffee drinks are great too btw. The Pupusa is a must try, great flavor and a great appetizer! 4/5 Ribeye Steak Tacos were also great! Super tender and great flavor, would totally recommend as well! 4/5! We ordered the Big Eaters Platter, the Corned Beef Hash & Eggs, and shared a Nutella Crepe with Strawberries for dessert. The portions were generous, especially the Big Eaters Platter, making it a solid choice if you're coming in hungry. The corned beef hash was decent, and the Nutella crepe with fresh strawberries was a nice sweet finish to the meal. That said, I thought the food was just okay for the price. Nothing we ordered was bad, but nothing really stood out enough to make me want to come back. The quality was solid, but I left feeling like there are better breakfast options in the area for the same price point. If you work nearby or are visiting one of the surrounding medical offices or hospitals, I could definitely see this being a convenient spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. However, as someone visiting the area, I don't think it's a place I'd go out of my way to return to. Overall, friendly service and a clean restaurant helped make for a pleasant experience, but the food didn't quite justify the price. A good neighborhood café if you're close by, but probably not a destination breakfast spot.
