Sorry but this was not it. The omelette was cooked super hard and just didn't have much flavor. The French toast was just meh. The eggs were plain and sausage was okay.

My family and I really enjoyed our experience here! We didn't know at first if we should sit down or order at the counter, it seems like you can do either. It's a very casual set up and takeout is available by ordering at the front. The menu has a great variety of breakfast food - omelettes, waffles, pancakes, crepes, etc. We were able to piece together sides and platters to get exactly what we wanted! They were quite busy but for a Sunday at 12pm we expected this. Sadly my food didn't come out until my family was nearly finished eating. We did really enjoy the food despite the timing and would like to try it again at a calmer time.

Finally great corned beef hash!!!! Okay, my wife and I decided to try this place. I have been looking for great corned beef hash for quite a while. Not the canned mush, but true and tasty corned beef hash. And I found the best in all of Montgomery County. But it doesn't stop there. We were warmly greeted when we came in. Very friendly staff. A sit down place where someone comes to take your order (we thought it was an order first place). Everything was great. Fresh, hot coffee. Great omelette. Great bacon. And the serving size of the entree was very generous. My wife ordered a ham, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich and loved it. My wife and I have, without any question or reservation, our new breakfast spot!!

My second time here. The place is a bit hard to find, on the first floor corner of a commercial building in an area of commercial buildings and a few restaurants. The inside is smallish, with a bright and cool vibe. The food is terrific. Last time we were here we had lunch and today we had breakfast. I got the super vegi omelette with hash browns and an English muffin. My partner got the waffle with two eggs, hash browns snd two sausages. I really enjoyed the omelette with a lot of spinach and broccoli. The eggs were cooked well, but not overcooked/dry. The hash browns were addicting. Nice crunch on the outer parts, with a smooth texture on the inside. Yum. The English muffin didn't come with butter or jelly, but I'm sure I could have gotten butter if I asked. The waffle was prepared well and tasted good. Plenty of butter and syrup available. The coffee is pretty good here. So, the food's really good but I have to say the service today was not. We each got a glass of water and I got a coffee and my partner got an iced tea. During the meal, we finished our waters and the iced tea/coffee and sat and sat waiting for someone to come over or make eye contact. The place was busy, but not packed. I have to say the service was really disappointing. I'm scoring the place a 4. I considered scoring a three for the long time we sat with empty water and drink glasses, but I'm hoping the issue was a one-off.

This little cafe is easy to miss but what a little jewel! I come to this strip mall area all the time to frequent other establishments but never noticed this place. They have a small neon sign out front that says, "Deli." When you look closer, on the door it says, "Tasty Nook Cafe." It is small, like a really small diner. Their menu is EXTENSIVE. They offer breakfast all day long and they have a huge amount of Latin food options as well. I ordered the mediterranean omelette. It was creamy and delicious. I had a regular drip coffee. It did the job but was not amazing. Service was super friendly. The prices are reasonable, potions are decent sized. It's a great place to come with a small group of breakfast buddies, with your kids, or for a meet up with an old friend. It's quiet, low-key, and you can have serious conversations. Coffee was a bit of a drawback but I liked the ambiance, service and food so I'm still giving it 5 stars. I would love to return and try more menu items.

Brunch spot in Rockville. American breakfast with some Latin influence. Menu is very dense, lots of options. I tried the Greek omelette and added chicken. I was surprised how big the omelette was, it's a very good size for the price. Service was great as well, very friendly. PS: Be careful with the GPS directions, they are located on the right side of a big office/medical building in front of the gym. The GPS took me to the back of the building where the door is locked so I had to drive around. They have a sign on top of their door.

Tasty Nook Cafe lived up to their name. Everything was very tasty and delicious. We ordered a variety of breakfast dishes. I was pleasantly surprised at how nicely they were packed for traveling and each dish was still warm, when we opened the containers at home. My personal favorite was the pancakes. They were light and fluffy. The syrup was really good too. My daughter in law ordered the strawberry pancakes. They were delicious and had a whipped cream and strawberry topping. We ordered the corned beef omelette and it was packed with tons of corned beef. I ordered sunny-side eggs. The eggs were fresh and cooked well. Lastly, we ordered French toast and that was wonderful. The service was great, we ordered over the phone, and it was ready and waiting, when we arrived. Even, the butter was creamy and rich. Sometimes, the small extras can make a difference, and in this case they truly did. I won't hesitate to order from them again. Lastly, the price point was affordable. So, win-win, for a great breakfast!

Tasty Nook is a pretty recent establishment. It's super hard to find bc the signage has a different name, but it's located right next to the One Life Gym. The menu ranges from basic pancakes and eggs to delicious Latin food. My friend and I were overwhelmed with the options and went with their breakfast burrito and pancake meal. While we were dining in, there was a non-stop crowd of people carrying out and dining in! I definitely need to try more of their special dishes, but I had a good first experience.

OMG this place was soo good. I got the Western Crepe Omlet and it was amazing. Just a hint of swesweetness....... they could have ruined it by making it too rich but they didn't, soooo good! I tried my husbands refried beams and they couldn't be more authentic....... delicious!!!

Located right next to the onelife gym in Rockville is tasty nook cafe which serves breakfast all day. The food gives a home cooked meal type of vibe. The service was solid. I went on 2 different days to be able to try all of the different food items I wanted to try and to do so I ordered through their dine by Wix app. With my 2 trips I ordered takeout and got a breakfast burrito without hash ($6.50), western omelette with ham, green peppers, onions, +1$ cheddar cheese, +1$ spinach, and +1$ Tomatoes ($15.25), 5 French toast ($8.50), 3 pancakes $5.50, ropa vieja ($15.75), a revuelta pupusa ($2.75), Philly cheesesteak with fries ($11.25), and a waffle ($7.95). Let's start with the breakfast items first. The breakfast burrito was very good and it's an item that I would definitely comeback for. The western omelette was pretty good but I wish I knew it would a 1$ charge for EACH additional topping I added. The 5 French toast was solid but wasn't as good as I expected. The 3 pancakes were pretty average & basic and I definitely wouldn't get them again. The waffle was pretty good: fluffy and soft and great when dipped in the syrup (I would come back for it). Now we can move on to the lunch type of options. The ropa vieja was okay but i definitely expected more in terms of portion and flavor. The pupusa revuelta was decent. The Philly cheesesteak was pretty good and the bread was definitely the best part of it. The fries that came with it weren't good in my opinion and not crispy in the slightest. All in all, tasty nook cafe is a pretty good breakfast spot that deserves more attention. I'd definitely recommend and return for the breakfast options.

You pick your pastries from the self-serve shelves. Some items looked like they had been sitting out for a while and were a little dry, while others had just been restocked and looked much fresher. Most of the selection leans toward buttery, laminated pastries, such as croissants, Danishes, and croffles rather than baguettes or rolls. They also have fresh cakes displayed near the counter. The two pastries we had were both good and satisfying. The pain aux raisins had a moist texture with a gentle sweetness. The croffle itself was nicely buttery and delicious, although the cream on top was a bit too heavy for my taste. Prices felt reasonable for the quality and location. Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately, the coffee was only lukewarm, which was a letdown. Parking really depends on the time and day. We were lucky to find a spot right in front, but the plaza gets busy since there are several popular stores/restaurants, so it can be competitive if you're aiming to park close by. Overall, I'm happy to have another French-inspired Asian bakery option in Rockville.

There's seating inside, but the seating area is pretty small and some people were at tables looking like they weren't going anywhere anytime soon. It was a nice morning, so we were able to grab an outside picnic table. The service was decent. One disappointment was when the counter person asked me if I wanted room for cream in my coffee, I said yes and asked if they had nondairy products. She said they had almond and soy. I asked for soy and she returned with my drink. When I went to pay, I saw they charged 79 cents for almond, soy and oatmilk. Ok. Here's the thing. I assume it's on the board and I should have looked, but she also could have mentioned it. Also, charging for these items when they put a little in your coffee leaves me feeling like I'm being abused for not being a dairy person. I get it - it's a pastry shop and the items are buttery and rich from cream. But please - 79 cents for a little soy milk? (I know this isn't uncommon for coffee shops, but it doesn't make it right.). And the coffee ($4.25) was decent - not great. I expected better (richer, more flavorful) coffee from a nice pastry shop like this. Anyway, it's a nice neighborhood place and there's a lot of treats there.

Despite how crowded it is inside I can always hear my friends and carry on conversation indoors easily. Occasionally it has been hard to hear when your order is ready so I definitely recommend checking in at the pickup area to make sure you get your latte while it is hot. So far my favorite latte is the Black Sesame Latte with nondairy milk. It is not too sweet, a little nutty, and so smooth. I especially love visiting Tatte in the fall for their version of a pumpkin spice latte. The syrup they use is dairy free which is challenging to find. I do wish Tatte had more vegan options, and more clearly labeled on the menu what can be modified to be vegan. Part of the reason I have not tried any of the food is because navigating the menu as a vegan is challenging. I hope they can make some changes so I can have breakfast or lunch with my latte in the future. For now I love visiting Tatte for a treat yo self moment.
