These days when you go to a cafe they give you a paper cup regardless if you are dining in with no latte art. We got the cute cup with lovely art. This along deserves 4.5 stars. The pastry were just OK if you ask me. You are able to heat it up yourself with the little toaster by the counter, but you feel rushed as there are others standing around waiting to heat up theirs, or want to get water which is right next to the toaster. overall it was a cute little place, I think it was owned by Korean as it give me a very korean cafe vibe.. I had had Cronut in Vegas (at the Paris Hotel), but the ones here looked a little different so I wanted to try. Mistake. It was extremely greasy. The oil soaked through the paper plate and I had to squeeze the pieces I cut with napkins to get as much oil out as possible. I would give it a 2 star, it would have been good if not so oily. The egg tarts on the other hand deserved a 5 star. Love it. The latte tasted fine, but it took them a while to make it (almost 10 mins) and served in the normal paper cup, I was hoping for a nice latte art since it took so long. Overall it is a wonderful place to sit around and enjoy some quiet time, just don't get the cronut unless they cut down on the oil...

It was slightly busy but the line moved fairly quickly. The restaurant has a good amount of seating and a lot of people dining in were simply enjoying their weekend. Unfortunately I had to work so everything was to go for me. I would love to have the opportunity to just dine in one day. I also want to try their Virginia location since that recently opened as well. I'm also still waiting on their rainbow/chantilly filled croissant because it had to be the best pastry I've ever eaten. Would happily return here. Wish they had a punch card for their regular customers.

The croissant was flakey and crispy, with a nice soft chocolate middle. Ratio of chocolate to bread was perfect and left me satisfied. It paired great with the earthiness of the hojicha latte, which conveniently is made with oat milk! Lots of dairy-free options if you're into that. Space is clean and very cute as well, seems like it would be great place for a coffee date or meet-up with friends!

But, this bakery has only gotten better with age. It looks like a little French bistro with the red brick walls and counters full of breads and baked goods. Service was great. The gentleman who waited on us was very nice. I bought a chocolate croissant. It was rich and buttery filled with delicious layers of chocolate. I also ordered an apple turnover. The crust was melt in your mouth delicious. And, the apple filling was superb. Lastly, I ordered a cannell. It was rich and sweet and so delicious. So, each of my three desserts were amazing. The prices were reasonable. It is tucked back on the right side of the street. You can use Chef Tony's as a reference point. I guarantee I will be going back soon.

One disappointment was when the counter person asked me if I wanted room for cream in my coffee, I said yes and asked if they had nondairy products. She said they had almond and soy. I asked for soy and she returned with my drink. When I went to pay, I saw they charged 79 cents for almond, soy and oatmilk. Ok. Here's the thing. I assume it's on the board and I should have looked, but she also could have mentioned it. Also, charging for these items when they put a little in your coffee leaves me feeling like I'm being abused for not being a dairy person. I get it - it's a pastry shop and the items are buttery and rich from cream. But please - 79 cents for a little soy milk? (I know this isn't uncommon for coffee shops, but it doesn't make it right.). And the coffee ($4.25) was decent - not great. I expected better (richer, more flavorful) coffee from a nice pastry shop like this.
