I took my dog here to get a trim! And they shaved her. They even shaved her eyelashes she is a Schnauzer. And then had the nerve to charge me 65 dollars . I couldn't believe they shaved her down to nothing. She had a beautiful long skint.They shaved her face completely., the one thing they were supposed to shave they didn't,the left her ears. My boyfriend took his dog here the other day and the service was very good. His pup was a little scared, since it was his first time at the groomers, but the workers handled him very well. They let us go back with them and keep him calm while they did their job. When they were done, they sprayed him with some puppy cologne and gave him a Christmas bandana. Yelp really came thru for this groomer! I normally take Bella to a groomer in downtown L.A because I haven't found one that I could trust in Orange County. I finally decided that the drive is way too much and gave this place a shot! I am very happy that I did. Anne scheduled my appointment and took Bella in. Brought my 12lb Yorkie mix dog a few days ago and what a great experience!! I have tried so many different groomers but this one by far is the best. When I called to make an appointment the woman who answered was very kind and accommodating. I was able to get a prompt appointment. This place is so cute! They have a waiting type area for your pet so they are not cooped up in their cage the whole time they are there. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Amazing service, very kind and respectful family who run the place. However, it was hard to get them to answer the phone (I had to try 3 times a day over 2 days), when they finally did, it was hard to hear with all the barking in the back so the call took a while. The location is in the back of the building. Very good prices, they even gave little bows for both my dogs. They didn't look exactly like I wanted them to (compared to the pictures I showed them), but they did tell me beforehand that it maybe difficult with matting. I've been to other places where I have showed them a picture to avoid miscommunication and they still cut my dog's hair completely different. The groomer here cut my dog's hair exactly how I wanted it. The cut was even all around. It's so difficult to find an affordable and good groomer. After today I will keep brining my babies back here. I honestly dont recommend this place. I think it was the husband who help the shop owner who does the grooming. After my two maltese went to this place, they bark at strangers and wont let any of the men touch them. Especially they were so traumatized so they are shaking when my dad is trying to reach out to them. They never ever were like this. I cant even go out for a walk because they will pee and shaking whenever they see a man, and barks like crazy. I know you have use some force to have the dog to stay still otherwise it will be dangerous but I think this isnt right. I didnt noticed that my dogs got traumatized and built fear towards men until i talked to my neighbour who went to the same place to get the grooming done. I end up sending them to pet smart education session to regain trust and not to be frightened from men. I should have called to this place right at the moment when our family noticed difference in behavior but the owner and the man who hold my dog sounds sok generous and nice i didnt even doubt a thing. read more

I cannot speak intelligently about their proficiency in grooming. However, if the way they handle dogs is any indication, I would give this place a wide berth. When I tried to drop off my dog Tupa (a Shih Tzu) there recently, the lady behind the counter was examining Tupa to see what needed to be done. When she grabbed my dog, I noticed that she kept hyper-extending my dog's back to show me where the fur was matted on the stomach. Seeing my dog was clearly uncomfortable I told her, "Ok, I see it. Please stop bending her back that way." When the woman would not stop, I took Tupa away from her and put the dog on the floor. At that point, the woman got down on the floor next to the dog and rolled Tupa over and began roughly touching the matted areas on my dog's stomach. At this point, Tupa was squirming and clearly uncomfortable-she was even acting a little bit defensively, which she never does unless you are really hurting her. Then, while seated, the woman grabbed Tupa, tucked Tupa between her legs, and forced her into a seated position. Then the woman rocked back, contorting my dog's spine past 90 degrees, to further show me the matted fur. I told her "stop, you're hurting her!" This was the second time I had to warn her about how she was handling my dog. This was more than I could stand. At that point, with the lady clinging to Tupa the entire time, I snatched Tupa away from her and told her "never mind, we're leaving now!" The lady kept asking me "why, what did I do wrong?", all the while still trying to grab Tupa back away from me. She was persistent and refused to back off even after I told her to multiple times. I told her (for the second time) "you can't bend a dog's spine like that, you're going to hurt them!" Then, with her still trying to grab my dog out of my arms, I left the store and carried Tupa back to the car. As I was putting Tupa in the car, I noticed that the woman was running out of the store after me. I ignored her and got in my car, started it up and tried to drive away. As I was backing up she was right in front of my car, standing uncomfortably close to it. When I did my three point turn to get out of the parking spot, I had to be very careful not to hit her. I thought I was going to have to tell her to move! She was that close! I have never witnessed a more unprofessional and potentially dangerous display from anyone in the dog grooming community. I would strongly advise anyone who is thinking about getting their dog groomed there to reconsider this decision. If this is how they treat your dog when you're standing right there, imagine what happens to them after you leave them. Regardless of how good you think your dog might look afterwards, it is not worth risking your dog's safety and well-being to bring them to Ann's. read more

The staff were very kind and attentive to my pup as soon as I walked in the door, and when I came back to pick him up, my dog was all smiles and wagging tail with not a scratch on him and looking handsome as ever. Penny, my mixed breed terrier, is skittish when it comes to groomers but Ann's really makes her feel at east. When I ask for "just a trim" the groomers do exactly what I ask for. I really like how Penny doesn't have to be in a kennel after she's been groomed, a little play area is set up for the dogs which is roomy yet secure. I used another groomer in Brea but the prices got way too high and Ann's prices are fair for the services they provide. Penny goes here once a month and I love how nice she looks when I pick her up. Easy access and plenty of parking. Love the pictures, especially the one with my friends dogs, Sunny and Alex!!! Oh and my other friend's dog, Forrest!!! read more

This morning I went to this grooming shop to take my Yorkie Toto for a sorely needed haircut. The groomer was extremely polite, and got the new haircut done efficiently and my dog transformed from some chewbacca lookin turd into a crisp and respectable looking dog. So we recently got a puppy and he was in very bad shape, his hair was literally dread locked and was tangled all over the place. At best i thought that he would just be given some kind of goofy shave and his hair would eventually grow back, but no Ann's went above and beyond and not only do i have an extremely good, clean dog, but he looks better than ever! The prices are so reasonable that i almost felt an obligation to tip their tip box. I highly recommend bringing your pet here, if Ann's can make my dog look the best in his worst shape, then i cant wait to bring him back for routine grooming.
