I've had been this small business's customer since 1992 when it was named Anong's. Reliable and reasonable price for house calls to change the keys or make the keys for a keypad lock with a keyhole that we did not get keys for when it was installed 6 years ago. The keypad lock stopped working when the battery died. We did not change the battery because we switch to locking the security screen door . Recently our screen door lock broke so we decided to lock the wooden door again but then we forgot the passcode after the battery died 3 years ago. read more

After the other locksmith flaked out on my mother in law after saying he was coming (even though at that call, he was already 40+ minutes late for his scheduled 2 pm job) here at my mother in law's home. After waiting so long, she had to hand it off to me as she had to go to a funeral. At 4:20p, I decided what was the hold up and so listened to her home recorder voice mail messages and found he left another message at 2:40pm saying that since she was not answering, he said he can reschedule...reschedule? why? He had just spoken to her minutes prior to say he was coming, so she went outside of her house to wait for the vendor. I called that vendor back (with initials J.D.L) that I'm going to cancel the job instead. OMG. waiting that long, I decided to call Anong's Locksmith at 4:30pm, he said he can be at the house at 5:30pm. He told me to text my mother in law's address to his cell phone, so I did. He arrived earlier at 5:20pm to replace the front door entry's doorknob as the latch was locked-in place within the strike plate housing. My mother in law had bought the parts for the new doorknob from City Mill, so all he had to do was to release that stuck latch and replace the whole assembly with the new supplied hardware. I asked that he make a 3rd key which he charged $3 which was a very fair price. Oh man, his promptness and VERY reasonable price for his labor earns him the 5 stars ! Please use this vendor, I have known of this company for over 25+ years, though I never had a chance or opportunity to use this company until now. read more

My son accidentally locked my car key inside my car. I guess he had hit the lock button on the door as he exited the car but left the key inside the cup holder. I called the dealership to ask for a new key but they said they needed the car over there to program the new key to it and told me to tow it over to them. Sometimes I hate these fancy new cars with all the expensive technology. I wasn't going to pay hundreds of dollars for a new key and also wait hours for a tow truck and then pay them even more money so I put out a quote request on Yelp to 7 of the top automotive locksmiths. Man, that quote feature is such a convenience! I was already late to work because my husband, who is off today, had to drive me after I realized my situation with the key and I really didn't want to waste time at work calling around. With the quote feature on Yelp, you can just send a mass request out and then take the first one you like that answers you back. Within FOUR MINUTES, I got a friendly message back from Anong & Son saying they could do it and to call them. I called and a nice man answered and got my info and jumped into his car. Twenty minutes later, my husband, who was at home with the car, texted me a photo of my newly freed key. He said the man and an apprentice were nice, professional and quick and knew what they were doing. If I could give this guy a zero I would. He came out to cut a key. Never told us what was going on with the vehicle until he decided he had to leave. And I made several trips there to redo the duplication off the original key, with no joy.
