The menu is very interesting and I would have enjoyed trying more of their interesting items. However, I will not be going back. The reason is quite simple. We walked into a restaurant that only had a couple of tables occupied, and it took a very long time for them to get to us. We even stopped another server and asked her to get us someone to serve us. Very flavorful and probably the highlight of the meal. Son had the Lobster and Crab Omelet that was very good as well but he left some on his plate to finish HIS grits! Not really sure how to review but just want management to know our experience. So...we strolled up on Sunday around 12:45 for brunch. We were happy to see there were tons of empty tables inside and out as a lot of the restaurants were jammed. We approached the doe-eyed hostesses who were quick to tell us they were no longer seating. Despite closing at 2pm and the fact that most restaurants are struggling, these hostesses are turning away people. A nice breakfast place in Boca. Upon walking inside, we were hit with a potent smell of chemicals, like someone cooked the bacon in its package. So we asked to be seated outside which was fine. Our server was friendly and very accommodating. The food took pretty long to come out though, not terribly long but it took awhile. The coffee was okay, a bit lukewarm the second time she poured it but it was alright. Gluten Free pancakes were actually very good, fluffy and flavorful. My boyfriend got the coffee infused pancakes and said they were crunchy and not very good. My eggs were okay. The chicken sausage was good and flavorful but the bacon was terrible. I was pretty disappointed in this place. The wait was long which was to be expected on a Sunday but the wait to get our food was even longer. My son ordered the cinnamon rolls and one was so burnt that the top was mostly charcoal. How the chef could burn something that badly and still think it's good to go is beyond me. My daughter only received half her meal. We needed to ask twice and wait at least 20 minutes to get it brought over. It was mostly cold by that time. Since no one came to take our payment, despite waiting until the restaurant was almost empty, we took our receipt to the front desk where we had to wait yet again to have someone appear from the back so we could pay and leave. First time at this location and I have to say I was impressed just by how friendly everyone there was. Everyone had a smile on their face and said hello. Always a fantastic experience food-wise. I want to take a moment to commend the manager working today at one pm. I really wish I got his name. First off, he brought us to our table and was very welcoming. Then he brought out our food. Now my husband has a thing for honey mustard. He asked and the manager said they didn't carry it but he would have the kitchen make him some...this was above and beyond. But recently on a visit we had a server who seemed a little bit grouchy and also gave us slow service without any explanation or comment. He told us his name, and said it was A'___ something (started with an A, then an apostrophe, and then a few more letters). This was very odd because the receipt says that his name is Remone. Solid brunch option in Boca Raton! After a bit of a brunch fail the day prior, we didn't want to mess things up again, so we got on the waitlist for Another Broken Egg Cafe via Yelp. The wait was about a half hour long, which was just the right amount of time for us to walk to the restaurant. When we arrived, we waited maybe five minutes before we were seated at a table. This was so much better than having to put our name on a list at the door and wait it out there! Our server was friendly and the wait for drinks and food wasn't long. I opted for the cucumber bloody mary which was perfect - light and refreshing with a little kick! My friend had the spicy mary which came with a bunch of garnishes including a piece of crispy bacon. We both ordered the crab cake eggs benedict, plus a half order of beignets. The benedicts were great. The potatoes that came on the side were a little boring but fine. The beignets were disappointing; they were heavy chunks of dough that tasted more like bread rather than the lighter, fried doughnut texture we expected. Service was acceptable, but given it was towards the end of lunch and place was pretty sparse, the waitress could have been a bit more attentive. It would have also been nice if she offered a to go coffee cup, but that cost her an extra buck and change in tips. I had high hopes for this place but after visiting this location for a small brunch with friends, I don't plan on returning. For starters, our waters took about 10 minutes to make it to our table and the restaurant was not busy at all. After ordering I realized my fork was dirty and the salt & pepper grinders were very sticky- makes me question their cleaning routine as I once was a waiter myself. We ordered the Eggs Benedict with a side of regular grits, Scrambled Eggs with maple chicken sausage and potatoes, and Shrimp Grits. Nothing really stood out to me that was worth ordering again. The potatoes were dry, grits were tasteless, and the scallions atop my eggs Benedict were also dry enough to seem they had been sitting in a container for a few days. The maple chicken sausage was pretty good I will add. This place seems to have better "sweet" menu items (like their pancakes and crepes) so I would stick with that upon ordering. Nothing against our waitress, she was nice and polite, although a bit slow, but the experience wasn't worth it for me. The food is so delicious, prices are so reasonable, ambience is a million times better than any other reasonably priced brunch spots and service is fast. I was even further impressed with the service when I inquired about hosting my baby shower here. Both Managers Joey and Jeff offer stellar service so much so I had to ask if they were based out of So. Florida because it's so rare to receive good service here. My first time here and will surely not be my last. For some reason there are very few breakfast spots in the Boca area, so I asked a friend for some recommendations. I got a couple options, did some research and decided to give another broken egg a try. (I've seen a few locations popping up in south Florida over the last year or so and never thought about trying it until now). Parking, seating and service were all pleasant. The menu had quite a few choices that caught my attention, and even though I didn't order this time, I'll eventually be able to try em all. The time I went they had their "Fall Harvest" menu, which I included as a picture. I decided to try their Monte Cristo Dippers. I wasn't exactly knowing what the dish would look like based on the description, but it sounded really good (and it was!). It was literally (3) French toast sliders with ham turkey and cheese stuffing with a dipping cup of syrup and another dipping cup of mixed berry sauce. A side of potatoes to complement the dish. The sauce was very sweet which definitely went well with the sweetness of the French toast and the juicy meat. Oh. What a delightful place!! I've been looking at this place for weeks and I finally tried it with my husband and I'm so glad we finally chose to eat here! The decor is so homely and cozy it's like being at my grandmas house. They have tons of options on the menu at very good prices. I noticed a lot of different alcoholic beverage options! I definitely plan on trying next time when we go for lunch. They had something called spiked Nutella latte I can't wait to try it! So I ordered an iced coffee and it came in a really cute mason jar. All their omelette options sounded wonderful so I decided to get the Floridian which is crabmeat and cream cheese! What crabmeat?! YES! I have never had an omelette so yummy!
