So good...we are back again. This time for Veterans Day brunch! Always an excellent menu! Excellent way to honor our Veteran's on this day with an amazing breakfast! Our server Sam was great! The restaurant itself is very comfortable and friendly.

Delicious chain restaurant where you can get a good breakfast at a reasonable price. This location was within walking distance of the hotel that I stayed at while in town. Walked over on a Sunday morning to grab a quick bite to eat before starting my day. I've been to other locations before, so I knew what to expect. It was packed inside, so the food must be good. Sale was able to get a seat reasonably fast. The service was a little bit, slow due to the crowd. The waitress that was serving our table also had tables outside, and it did seem like she paid more attention to the people sitting outside. Had to wait a little while to get a coffee refill. But when she didn't bring it out, it was hot. Their coffee is very good. For my meal I had the buttermilk pancakes. I wish they would have given me less pancakes because 3 Was Way too many. I probably choked down one and a half pancakes. It also came with two eggs and two slices of bacon. Way more food than one person can eat. Unfortunately, I couldn't take anything to go with me since there was no microwave in the hotel room. Overall solid and about as good as any other location of another broken egg that I've been to.

What's left of our 1/2 Order of Biscuit Beignets

We tried a new breakfast spot today and were very pleased with our find. Parking was easy in the lot and there was no wait to get in. We chose to eat indoors although there were outdoor tables available and it was a beautiful day. We were seated in a booth and our server promptly arrived for coffee orders. There was a full bar so Bloody Mary's, Mimosas and other interesting concoctions were available along with specialty coffee drinks, some seasonal with Pumpkin, Apple and Maple flavors. The menu had breakfast, brunch and lunch options. All were very interesting and some very different. I noted shrimp and grits as well as chicken and waffles. As a first time customer we were offered a half order of biscuit Beignets, a specialty item. They came out hot with marmalade and honey jelly and were a great starter. I ordered the hash brown eggs Benedict with grits and my boyfriend got buttermilk pancakes , eggs and bacon. The poached eggs were atop crispy hash brown patties with diced ham and covered in a mushroom herbal hollandaise sauce . They were good. The grits not so great. I would try the country potatoes next time as an option. My boyfriend enjoyed his pancakes and said the bacon and coffee were both good. It was a little loud indoors but we enjoyed our breakfast and our server was great. We thought prices were fair for the Boca area. We will be back.

Dead roach in my omelette

Yesterday, I found a dead roach in my omelette and I'm still in shock. I have never been more disgusted. I'm a breastfeeding mother and almost swallowed it (see pictures). The restaurant had just failed a health inspection in August for roaches but were allowed to reopen the following day. According to a news article from August 2025, there were roaches and roach eggs everywhere that the GM told his employees to wipe away. Yesterday, I asked the general manager of the restaurant to please be honest with me about whether he had seen roaches in the kitchen and his response was "not recently." The director of operations (Joffre Rodriguez) called me claiming to be sorry for my experience but he seemed disingenuous to say the least. He said that they would remain operational as he was "sure they no longer had a roach problem" to which I said "then can you please explain the one I almost swallowed today?" He said no, that he could not explain why I had a dead roach in my omelette. Joffre gave me his cellphone number and advised that I could call him with any questions I had. Well, when I called him, he ignored my calls and has not called me back. A prior patron's Google Review also summarizes having seen a roach climbing up the wall while dining there. This place has a roach infestation in the kitchen but refuse to close in order to adequately treat the issue. They don't want to lose profits by closing, but are compromising the health and wellness of the public.

The host doesn't know how to run a waiting list. Her and her green hair can go. Actually the entire staff looks like they are from HotTopic, but whatever. The place is dirty, layers of dust everywhere from the shelves to the fans. Our table wasn't wiped down and then she wiped the food onto the bench seats, so now I can sit in food instead of place my elbows in it? Gross. The food wasn't good either, better food at IHOP! Although it is talent to have dry and soggy potatoes at the same time. Never going back.

S'mores Waffle

I love Another Broken Egg Cafe because of their sweet selections of breakfast foods. My friend and I ordered a S'mores Waffle and Apple Fritter French Toast to split. Both dishes came with two eggs any style and your choice of meat, but you can say no to the sides and the dish is a little bit cheaper. The s'mores waffle was absolutely delicious. Sadly, it's a seasonal selection and only there for a limited amount of time. The apple fritter French toast looked absolutely nothing like the photo advertised online, but it was still great. Our server was super nice, but service was just okay. It took a while to get my water refilled and I always had to ask. I highly recommend joining the waitlist through their website so you don't have to wait a long time for a table.

Thank you Jasmine our waitress with a great smile with great positive energy very good at what she does. I believe she's good at everything she's gonna be doing in the future. I had a great breakfast. My mom had a great hot coffee. I had the eggs Benedict I had my ham replaced with chicken sausage was delicious. Everything was hot and fresh and didn't have to wait that long. I will definitely be back Gio

Crab Cake Benedict

The food was very much mid, i wish there was a more of a kick to the crab cakes. The service was good no complaints there, the mood and ambiance were lacking i felt like i was at al upscale ihop, no personality in the decoration of the place.

She apologized when coming back but it was a little odd, we waited about five mins or so. I told her I was considering the tiramisu latte or the pistachio latte and I was hoping she could help steer me in a direction. I asked what she thought between the two and she clearly found my question odd bc there was a long pause before she said it depends what I'm in the mood for. Which isn't very helpful at all lol. And she said it with a bit of sass, like what a dumb question to ask. I don't think my question was that outlandish, many places have specific favorites or recommendations. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.

It's on the pricey side coming in around $10 per drink but both are unique and true to their name on the taste. There's real cereal topping and it's like drinking the cereal milk at the bottom of your bowl. Also tried their bacon scallion bagel bomb and it was delicious! Rich creamy center topped with crunchy bacon and scallions. Came out nicely toasted and warm. The cheddar chive scone was thick, flakey, butter and also amazing. It's on the oily side but very worth it.

Covered wrap around patio seating behind huge romanesque pillars and the massive cinderblock walls really set the tone for a classic Euro café. Before entering, the wide glass windows allowed a peek into the café displaying a continued Euro theme. There was no shortage of the Cafè Chéri name prominently plastered against the walls with a strong scent of waffles blasting through my nostrils. My wife and I gazed at the amazing chocolates and quietly mumbled Whoa! Well maybe NOT quietly. It was too early for dessert, so we chose a large Ratatouille Quiche and took a seat at a table elegantly garnished with a low flower bouquet which was inviting. The owner served us the quiche over wax paper stamped with the Café Chéri name and on a white plate. The top had a beautiful light charred crust over a generous portion of exposed veggies. Slowly made that first anticipated cut into the one inch thick quiche to expose a fluffy texture loaded with more veggies. We loved the fresh taste of the quiche and the crust definitely hit the mark. Not too sure how difficult it was to make the quiche, but with each chew it was evident that it was made with love. The virtually spotless gender neutral bathroom boasted shiny mini brick pattern mosaic tile flooring with a white deep rectangular wall mounted sink. The toilet seat hinge was broken, therefore, proper use was an issue (see pic). Just a minor issue which can easily be resolved. On my next visit, I will come early to try the waffles.

Super cute & funny beaded purses and specialty food items. We met the owner Lisa and she was so nice! We're dairy-free and we asked which lattes can be made dairy-free (no cow's milk) and she said anything on the menu can be made with oat or almond milk. Even a cold foam she can make with dairy-free milk. I was so surprised by that since most other places have significantly less options when going dairy-free, like cold foam can typically only be made with heavy cream at other cafes. She said she makes everything herself so she can customize it however we want. I was so impressed with that! We went with an iced Mocha Lisa which has white chocolate and pistachio. This is a specialty latte named after the owner herself as it's some of her favorite flavors. We got it with oat milk. There are three sizes, the larger size comes with 3 shots of espresso while the other two have 2 shots. Also appreciate that as at most other coffee shops, a larger size typically just means more milk but the same amount of espresso. The presentation of the drink was stunning, she topped it with crushed pistachios. It was so delicious! They have so many other delicious-sounding lattes on their menu, I was eyeing their honey cinnamon latte, whipped brown sugar latte, or their seasonal blueberry muffin matcha. Such unique flavors! I wish I was in town longer so I could come here daily to try all of them. I also got some chocolate covered pistachio-filled dates that I'm so excited to try. Yum!
