I don't often eat breakfast out, but was still looking forward to their opening, as there are less than a handful of really good breakfast places in East Boca, and they are packed cause they are so popular. Part of a chain which started near Lake Pontchatrain Louisiana, they are moving into Florida, and this appears to be their first location in south FL. The menu took time to review, so many different egg combinations and stuffings, it was daunting. My better half ordered an omelette with ham and tomatoes, which was served in a skillet with cut up seasoned country potatoes and English muffin. It was large, real fluffy, and tasted as good as it looked. I decided on a burger as it was already close to noon. Had their CLASSIC BACON BURGER, the bacon was baked, not fried, served with potatoes on their artisan rustic bread - which was really good bread! Crunchy exterior, soft interior. Burger was huge, only ate half. Coffee was strong, fresh and hot, not watered down, and was repeatedly being refilled. Lots of servers and busboys, they just opened, and seems like they might actually be over staffed, but let's hope they don't become short staffed on busy weekends or when it's in season. Restaurant was immaculate, as was the bathroom. And they have lots of patio tables with overhead fans. A welcome addition to Royal Palm Plaza. read more

First time visiting today to take my dad out for his birthday. The first thing Im super annoyed with is how everything has pork in it. This restaurant doesn't really accommodate well to people who don't eat pork. Second I ordered the cinnamon roll french toast and I didn't expect to act be cinnamon rolls. Honestly that was a bad idea because they were too huge and dry and tough. The first time my food came it was lukewarm and had no sauce or syrup on top. I sent it back and it came hot with sauce but its way too sweet. I think just regular french toast with the icing or cinnamon roll on top would be best so you're bot serving tough dry bread to people. The toast is softer and easier to eat. Another disappointment was my mother had home potatoes with her omelette and they were all dry ends barely any soft ones and they were not seasoned at all. The service we got wasn't that great either, my server nice guy but horrible service. I understand that it was busy but that's no excuse, ive worked in the restaurant industry before and no matter how busy you get always make sure to check up on your customers how their food is or if they need anything extra. He acknowledged another table with needing other stuff but we had to call for him if we needed something. When I asked for something simple like napkins he brought once so we can wipe our wet table but when we needed spare ones to use he didn't bring it for us. We werent difficult at all we made his life very easy. Ordered fairly quickly even while having asked some questions about substitutions of items we cant consume. The ambiance seemed nice when i walked indoors to the outdoor patio. I would recommend some fans at the corners since it does get very hot outside and the breeze comes and goes. read more

Honestly half an hour wait, cold coffee, I had ordered the goat cheese pancake with poached eggs and bacon, both of the sides came cold and the pancakes had a chewy uncooked middle. My guest had ordered the baquero plate but it had also come cold. Overall it takes okay, long wait, cold food, cold coffee and barley any redeemable features. Sure looks are nice but that doesn't really matter when I'm there to eat. I had come around 6 months ago and food was phenomenal I thought it would have been the same but nope. Warning: This place is a well known spot and very busy after 11am on the weekends. The food is exceptional the staff was all friendly and super welcoming. I had the seasonal Lemon Custard French Toast w/ country potatoes and sausage patty. Everything was great not one complaint at all. They even give free beignets for your first visit. This was one of our favorite places, the boy are they having trouble now. There were a lot of open tables yet people were waiting 20 and 30 minutes. Once you got seated, it took forever to get a drink. Then it took forever to get our meal. And when the meal came, it wasn't what we ordered, it wasn't even close. We were seated promptly and a waiter came to the table quickly. He asked if we had ever been there and when we said it was the first time, he offered us beignets on the house. Of course, I accepted. We asked for Hot Chocolate & it was cold, like as if it was chocolate milk in a coffee cup with whipped cream, we mentioned it and got a 2nd round of "hot chocolate" && again it wasn't hot... On to our meals... I ordered the mixed berry waffle breakfast that was supposed to be a blueberry waffle with mixed berries on top & scrambled eggs & choice of meat -- The waffle was a plain dried out waffle with mixed fruit on top, my eggs were supposed to be scrambled - but was very under cooked. - more like running eggs.. and the "homemade" sausage wasn't tasty... My wife got the croissant French toast breakfast - with eggs & choice of meat. Her French toast wasn't cooked. - it was still soggy, her eggs came out just like mine and she ordered chicken sausage that was cold and tasteless... The service should of been better: we waited forever for our drinks && food...that was supposed to be served hot and ended up being cold... This was at Boca Raton fl. I ordered poached egg on a salmon bagel and my friends, two omelets. First, The salmon was very dry, the eggs were not POACHED, THEY WERE HARD EGGS INSTEAD, the avocado rotten, the bagel bread cold and with very little cream cheese, the red onions cut into large chunk pieces. The fruit plate: the blackberries and apples were rotten, I couldn't eat them. We called the manager and he told us that the problem was because we had arrived at the restaurant asking if they had latte, so we responded him if we were punished with bad food because we had asked about the latte? which of course they didn't . The waitress messed up the food, she forgot the water,, she offered us some biscuit, like small donuts from the house, that she didn't bring, we had to asked her at the end, where were the biscuit that she offered us. The food itself was bland and required lots of salt, pepper and hot sauce to be even palatable. My drink (Abe cyclone was decent). There were lots of sad faces and complaints, which Aaron, the manager did basically nothing about. He told our table "it's been a busy weekend." To me, that is NOT an excuse. Every restaurant should expect to be busy on the weekend. The restaurant itself was not short staffed. All that means is that they were not prepared. Aaron even began to avoid our table. I have been going to this restaurant for over 10 years. I always sit at the counter because of the excellent service of Jesse. On Saturday, my boyfriend and a close friend and I went in for our usual breakfast. I ordered my usual and boring BLT. Not the fancy BLTA which has avocado and cheese. Just a simple BLT. When my breakfast came out it had cheese, which I kindly asked the server to send back to eat without cheese. (Due to some personal reasons, I cannot consume cheese at the moment. And that's cannot, not will not) She politely took the plate back to the kitchen to have it remade. It's a BLT so how hard is it to toast two pieces of bread and place pre-sliced tomatoes and pre-cooked bacon on the toast. Not rocket science. About five minutes later she returns with my "new" sandwich. I bit into it and realized they had not remade the sandwich they simple removed the top piece of toast and replaced it with buttered toast and returned it to me with the cheese and now butter as well. I called the server back over and showed it to her. Instead of offering me any substitution etc. She simply threw it in the trash and said, we won't charge you. While I appreciate I did not have to pay for the sandwich I also left hungry while my party was well fed. It blows my mind that not only is a BLT over 12 dollars, but that the server felt she had given us amazing help and was disappointed when we did not tip. Went here last weekend with my wife. Experience was not it, pictures are very overhyped and the eggs with cheese look like they just threw in the microwave for 30 seconds. Very sad service from a restaurant. The kind of place you would try and be excited until you get disappointed with the quality and service. July 2022, Gabby' our server was wonderful. This is the first time we were ever here, so Gabby brought us a special sweet treat (4) with a side of Jelly. These treats were delicious and reminded me of the Italian Zeppole (fried dough) with powdered sugar. For breakfast we ended getting the Eggs Benedict with a side of roasted potatoes and coffee. Pretty solid lil joint for breakfast. We arrived via motorcycle and had no problem finding a place to park. Entrance is on at southwest side of the bldg, this is where the hostess stand is. We were seated right away and brought a couple of waters. The waiter stopped with menus within a few minutes of us sitting down and took drink orders. Wifey approves of the coffee here and she's a bit picky with her coffee. We needed extra time with the menu because everything sounds so good. A Louisiana theme'd menu with a lot of cajun options. Shrimp n Grits, Crawfish omelettes, andouille sausage blended into dishes, and on. We chose something a little more mainstream and went with the mixed berry pancakes. Two large flapjacks filled with berries and topped w strawberries n whipped cream. The dish includes 2 eggs cooked any style and your choice of meats. Choose from bacon, ham, andouille sausage, turkey sausage or house made patties. Everything was delicious and cooked to perfection! Service was solid and the bill was in line with what we ordered. Every time I come here my waiter or waitress takes my order then takes 2-3 other table orders at the same time before he enters ours in the system. The last time I came, me and my 2 sons were seated 10-15 minutes before a party of 5 and that party of 5 received their food before ours. Although it can be very busy we always sit at the bar to waited on by our favorite server/bartender Jessy whose always provides the most phenomenal service. She gets every detail right and makes sure you leave happy and a lil tipsy, if that's your thing.
