I placed my order at 10:30am for pick up at 12:15pm. 12:45 came around and my food was still not ready. Staff seemed very stressed, and just told me they would check on my order. She knew it was our first time so she educated us on both the food and drinks. So we started off with beignets with was very delightful because I've had my share of them however these were very good. Best Breakfast Spot in Boca on the go. There's a lot of breakfast spots in this location but dont be fooled by the long lines, nice patio or cars in front of the others. This place boasts great service and they deliver it. Overall you may have a 30 min wait if you don't get here when they open bc there is a line. The food is above average and fairly priced and you can sit outside. We were just fooled by the other places patios and decor but they lack the service and the menu so if you want to pay to be seen go there otherwise stick around here and you won't be sorry. My fiance and I have been going to this Broken Egg in Boca for over 2 years and like sitting at the Bar. Adrian and other bartenders are wonderful but yesterday on a busy Sunday 9/7/2025 the manager Gianna had a staff meeting at the bar and was extremely loud. I motioned with my finger on my lips to please lower the volume and at first she ignored me and then barked at me that the bar "is a public place" and to basically shut up and deal with it. I was appalled and it escalated with her insulting, bullying and even threats to me. We payed our bill and left. NEVER in all the years we have been dining in Boca Raton have I been treated with total disregard and disdain by a restaurant manager. It was disgusting and traumatizing. My second time here was nothing compared to my first visit. My server was great, but she did keep forgetting things. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich, the chicken was so dry and not at all like i thought it was supposed to be. I had it with a side of potatoes and they were over cooked and super dry. I also ordered a pineapple drink, i was brought strawberry. I ordered my birthday pancakes to go, the next morning i had them for breakfast and they tasted like food from whatever it was cooked on. They refused to shut the door down (block it from opening and closing automatically) to keep the air conditioning going properly inside but it was only 71 degrees out. I was sadly disappointed in my visit at another broken egg. I went to another broken egg location a while ago and it was amazing. Maybe it was the item I ordered? The shrimp and grits was super oily. It's was unbearable to eat after a few bites. If I go back to this location I'll order something simple because everyone around me at the breakfast had pancakes and fruit or waffles and bacon. On this visit, we tried some new items that I had not had before. The biscuits and gravy and the lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes. The biscuits and gravy were so good. Biscuits were big and fluffy and the gravy tastes home made. The lemon blueberry goat cheese pancakes were delicious! The pancakes were large and light, with a smattering of blueberries and goat cheese which really complimented each other. But I did not get a taste of lemon... Another Broken Egg is one of my favorite breakfast places because they serve the entire menu pretty much all day. I'm not much of a breakfast food person, but I enjoy grabbing a bite earlier than the typical lunch time. Here, I can get a burger while my friend gets eggs and toast! The staff members are always very friendly and accommodating. I usually sit outside because they have a nice patio that is quite, whereas the indoor seating are is a little more diner-like. Even though there was about 4 tables open, we waited 30 mins and asked how it looked and they said well we are waiting for a few tables to open up near each other. The portion size was mediocre; however, I wasn't super hungry. They are located in a. strip mall with a small area outside for the kids to run around in. The dish itself was not visually appealing, and the breakfast chorizo was very greasy in the eggs. My husband had the Chicken and Waffles, which were fine. There was nothing particularly bad about the dish, it was just completely "average." Our total for the two entrees and an orange juice was $35, which is expensive only due to the quality of the food.
