My brunch spot with the bestie. Love the food everyone i come. It's hard for me to tell you what is my favorite because everything I have had I have really liked. Something that does stand out to me would be the avocado toast with salmon. I think the flavors are adding pickled onions and capers mesh well together. Visited this restaurant for the first time on Saturday. They were very busy and were on a wait. We waited about 20 minutes for a seat and then about 45 minutes for food. They apologized and said that they had a group of 27 That put them behind. The way we looked at it is that they agreed to take a group of 27 people! If they didn't think they could handle it, they shouldn't have agreed to take them. Not only did our food arrive late but mine was cold. I ordered the broken egg biscuit sandwich. The biscuit is nothing like any biscuit you'll find, not even like the biscuit that's on their website. It fell apart every time I picked it up, and the chicken which was cold didn't even cover the entire biscuit so it became this pile of broken biscuit, chicken, and egg. Because our food arrived late, it put us behind or else I would've complained about my cold food or asked them to heat it up. In spite of it being cold, it was good. They did give us free dessert because our food was late, which was nice. I will try it again but maybe not on a weekend. read more

Breakfast is my absolute favorite meal of the day, so I always look forward to trying new brunch places. I have visited Another Broken Egg in Asheville, NC and really enjoyed it, so I figured I would stop by the Clearwater location and check it out. I can't say enough how much I love this brunch chain. Like many others, the portions are large and perfect for sharing (especially the pancakes which are amazing). The staff was incredibly nice, we asked to be sat outside but the sun was beaming directly onto our table and when we asked to move into a shadier area they didn't hesitate before helping us out. Our waitress was incredibly pleasant and constantly came back to check on us. The food also perfectly matched the service. I split the Crab Cakes and Fried Green Tomatoes with my husband and we finished it in no time! If you're in the area, you should definitely stop by. I lived in NOLA, for a few years so I have had my fair share of beignets... these ones were tasty, more ball like than the NOLA style beignets but they were good. Our order was a little well done. For breakfast we ordered French toast with homemade sausage, eggs and potatoes and chicken and waffle. The chicken was realllllyyyy good! The waffle was good but the best I ever had. I've had a beer flight, a sampler of ice creams, four kinds of vodka at one sitting, and three bottles of wine with one meal. This was the first time I've ever had a flight of pancakes and I liked it. Berry, banana walnut, and peach plus scrambled eggs and homemade sausage and breakfast life was definitely good. We went out for breakfast together because I was super-jet-lagged after a trip to Bangalore. I woke up at 4am ready to rock so we decided to eat nearby. My first impressions walking in was: wow this is packed.... I like the decor.... it smells good.... it's so packed.... let's just eat. Let me start by saying that the service was amazing from start to finish. The food was great as well and, I did try all the items from the pictures I posted, and they were good... but I do have to say that the Brisket Egg Benedict on a waffle was my fave. Something totally different from what I'm use to (Egg Benedict lover here). Of course it's not your typical Benedict so I wasn't comparing it to the original. So for me this version of the Benedict won some real points and will definitely come back just for this. The other items were good as well but they didn't stand out of the crowd. In the end, I really enjoyed the place, service and food. I will have to come back sometime soon when it's not too crowed, and try the other not so typical dishes on their menu. read more

I love breakfast. I could eat breakfast 3 times per day and be completely happy. That being said this breakfast was good but not "blow-me-away-become-my-new-favorite-place good." I ordered The Traditional which just consisted of eggs, potatoes, and an English muffin. I added 2 slices of bacon to that and changed my English muffin to multigrain toast. $9.99 - yikes that's pricey for a simple breakfast. The bacon was kinda smoky and delicious and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The toast was served without butter on it - strange to have to butter my own toast at a restaurant but I guess they don't assume anyone's preferences. The potatoes are decent but they reminded me of Perkins or something so I wasn't overly impressed. My OJ tasted unbelievably fresh, with just the right amount of pulp. I definitely paid for that deliciousness @ $3.89 for a medium-sized glass! Don't get me wrong, I know OJ is expensive at almost every restaurant but for $4.00 I would want a large glass that would make me forget how much OJ I could've just purchased at the grocery store. The city grits (as other reviews have stated) are AMAZING! Quite possibly the best grits I've ever tasted. Bacon, garlic, Gouda, green onion, tomato = YUM! I would go back just for these grits alone. I'd really like to try their shrimp and grits too. All in all this is a cute place with very attentive and friendly staff. The menu was missing some of my breakfast faves, if you read my reviews regularly you know I always want to rate a place based on their biscuits & gravy and corned beef hash - they had neither. After a long night of work I was desperate for something tasty and I was jonesing for something new. I plugged in breakfast/ brunch places and picked the first one I hadn't been to before. I'm very happy I gave it a go. Atmosphere: The restaurant is in a shopping center on the northwest corner of Enterprise and McMullen Booth. It is tucked away behind a Jersey Mike's. When I walked in I was greeted immediately. The host showed me to a booth and promptly got me a menu. I notes the restaurant was clean and well organized. If you care about decor... think roasters or farm. My drink order was taken immediately and we it came time to order my waitress was pleasant and helpful. Food: Yes ordered a seasonal dish called the Southern Benedict. It normally comes with grilled country ham, fried green tomato, a poached egg, sausage and roasted tomato infused hollandaise sauce with sausage in it. I requested that the ham be substituted with bacon. I selected the upgraded side "city grits" as my side. City grits are smoked Gouda cheese grits topped with green onion, tomatoes and bacon. The southern Benedict was delicious but not quite attaining delightful. I feel the roasted tomato hollandaise was creative but it didn't deliver on flavor. I would eat it again but I would order it with regular hollandaise and as for a side of their Cajun remoulade. Now the city grits... they surpassed delightful and went straight to toe-curling decadent. I will always order them as my side when I go. Holy moly! I like that their menu as plenty of standards for those wanting the comfort of familiar while still offering creative choices for those looking for a culinary adventure. I mean lemon blueberry goat cheese pancake for crying out loud! Cost: I wish I could give you a definite answer in this but I threw away my receipt. The Benedict I believe was $11.49 Upgrades side $1.99 Coke... no clue. For having just opened a week ago, Another Broken Egg Cafe was pretty good, and will only get better. They have surprisingly different menu options that I do not see everywhere including beignets, different grits flavors like blackberry, cheesy garlic, or shrimp and grits. They have a crab benedict, southern crab stack, and bananas foster french toast or pancakes. It makes sense when you see that they originally opened in Louisana in 1996. There was a bit of a wait, and since there was they offered samples of beignets, and their coffee to everyone. That was a nice touch, and made the wait not too bad. This location has indoor and outdoor seating so we were happy to get a shaded spot outside so we can have my little dog sit with us. The inside area is also nicely decorated. Our waiter William was very helpful, and nice, and he offered us drinks, and advised us on entrees. Right now, they do not have their full liquor license so peach bellinis were not available. I so was dying for it...Boo, but I have to come back then. We had a few mimosas and they were refreshing, and served in a good sized glass. They also will be offering a lot of different coffee options with liquor. I ordered the southern crab stack with a grit cake, two crab cakes, shrimp, and 4 triangle sides of garlic bread. It was also served with andouille sausage. It was pretty good, but it did need something. I added the pepper sauce on the table, and liked that it since it added a bit of sweet and spicy. I also tried a bite of the on the crab benedict served with a remoulade sauce and it did have a nice kick. The shrimp and grits was also good with cheese, but it had a layer of oil on the top. I look forward to trying it again, and trying other options. The lobster and brie omelet sounds good to me. Even though I mentioned all of the seafood type breakfast options, there is a great amount of veggie and meat breakfast options as well. Make sure to sign up on their website, so you can get coupons. I saw a friend of mine visit this the other day, so I just had to go here. When I walked in I thought that I had walked into Egg Harbor, a cafe in Atlanta. I even asked the hostess if they were partners, because the coffee cups and the decor are identical, the logo is only slightly different. We were seated, and the table was sticky, I had to ask that it be wiped down. The hostess and our waitress (One in the same) Took care of that immediately, and then she wandered away. It took a little bit of time for her to come back, but when she did, she took our orders, asking if we wanted an appetizer (With breakfast?) We said no and then we placed our order for: The Hawaiian French Toast platter and the Laffitte Tortilla. When the Hawaiian French Toast came I was kind of disappointed, I expected it to be .. different. I mean it was simply Kings Hawaiian Bread sliced and made into french bread - tastes the same as Challah bread. I was kind of expecting a macadamia nut sauce or even pineapple but no go. We went on a Saturday morning and they were pretty busy BUT you can see their current wait time, can get on their waitlist through the Yelp app (Bonus) and it tells you how many in front of you and lets you know when your table is ready (Double Bonus). The staff was super friendly, attentive and the restaurant was really clean. We were seated and our server was there right off the bat to help us with all our questions and with recommendations. They have a ton of options from light breakfasts to burgers (for non-egg lovers like myself). And the cocktail list has a little bit for everyone. We settled for the mimosas but I was definitely eye-balling the spiked Cold-Brew By the looks of the plates coming out of the kitchen, the portions are huge!! I wasn't overly hungry do ordered the City-grits with a side of andouille sausage from the sides options and it was DELISH! I have been to the S Tampa location and loved it. Tried to treat my son to his fav biscuits and gravy. It was a salt block. Too much salt in the gravy and the biscuit. Quality breakfast restaurant. They have recently opened and I was excited to try a new breakfast place. I am a First Watch fanatic, so when new breakfast place opened up a little closer, I was thrilled. I visited twice in one week and will need to go back before I can call this "excellent" or "amazing", but it is very good and it offers a full bar! First, they have some great options that are not usually offered at a typical breakfast place (beignets). I felt that the menu had a slightly Cajun feel. I am an eggs Benedict feign, so I had the classic and one with bacon. The hollandaise sauce was thick (almost sour cream consistency). I thought the flavor was slightly lacking, but the saltiness of the bacon made up for it. I loved the potatoes, they seemed slightly fried or baked and full of flavor! I also was able to try the grits. I loved the grits! They were thick and garlic-y with a nice bacon and cheese garnish. I brought some health conscious, northerners with me. They enjoyed it. However, it did become noticeable that "healthy options" we're not well presented. We loved the full bar option and they ate well. The decor is cute and I LOVE that there are inside AND outside seating options! I have faith that this restaurant will do well, but need to return before I can give a 5 star, as the service was great one day and lacking the next. read more

Maybe I caught them on a bad day, but I did not have a good experience here. We were waiting for a table for a bit and then some random family came and took it. We had to notify the hostess in order to get our table back. Also, the chairs in the outside seating were covered in bird poop and we had to ask for them to be cleaned off, which is ridiculous for a restaurant. Our waitress forgot about us, so while we hadn't even gotten drinks yet (30 mins), the table next to us had already almost finished eating. Our waitress never came back and we got switched to another waitress, who ALSO forgot about us after we placed our order. I think all in all we had 3 separate waitresses so I don't even know who I was meant to tip. When our food finally came out, it was cold, which I suspect is due to the lack of waitress. I didn't even bother sending it back because at this point we were starving and knew it would be another hour if we decided to reorder. Worst service I've ever received. The food could've been good, but I'd have no way of knowing considering it was cold. Godspeed to this place and anyone who decides to go here. read more

We had take out today for my son's birthday brunch. He wasn't ready to go in person. I picked up our order and the restaurant was following all guidelines inside and out. I would have been fine eating there. We ordered the blackberry French toast, with scrambled eggs and bacon. This was AMAZING! The order was packed well, and toppings in the side so I didn't come home with soggy French toast. Scramble with spinach and chorizo was a good portion and so good ! Potatoes were on point plus English muffin Bacqueso Omelet was huge! Filled with cheese, bacon, chorizo and scallions. We also chose potatoes ( over grits).
