Besides the LONG wait... we liked the place. We ordered the shrimp and grits, eggs benedict and lobster and brie omelet. The presentation is good, like in the picture (only of the shrimp and grits available). The food was good and the prices were fair. I feel like they need to work more on the time they take to deliver the dishes to you. The service of our waiter definitely paid off for the long wait. I will come back, not on a weekend and maybe earlier to see if the experience is more enjoyable and less delayed. read more

I always give this place the side eye because we're always planning to go but could never seem to get there. Finally, with a few hours to spare we were able to pop in for Saturday brunch. We were told it would be a 20 minute wait. Twenty minutes elapsed into 40 minutes, until I noticed someone who came well after us being summoned for a table. The only reason this restaurant so even getting two stars is for service. Both times that I've gone the service was great, the food, not so much. I went for the second time recently and could not believe the food was so bad! I ordered a salmon avocado toast that was so unappealing visually I couldn't bring myself to eat it. The avocado was brown and oxidized, the onion looked super discolored and my side of hash browns literally tasted like cold pieces of card board. I was in disbelief that the waitress even brought it to the table! The only thing that was decent was the hot chocolate. Don't waste your money on this place. read more

Just a small tip to the chef and prep workers: Next time someone orders this dish, place the salad on the bottom, next build on the fried green tomatoes and last the highlight of the dish, put the crab cakes on top! Service here was very friendly. I was grateful to have a place to kill some time between appointments. It was after breakfast, yet before lunch. Somehow the server still took a while to get to me. I'm sure they were busy doing things in the kitchen before the lunch crowd hit. You could tell the place was in a lull, though there were still plenty of people chatting and having some food. My Floridian omelette was average. It was not bad, but it didn't knock my socks off. I had to liven it up with Tabasco. And I'm not a fan of Tabasco. I mean, it's alright, but haven't we gotten to the point where something other than a vinegar-based hot-sauce may be offered alongside that venerable tradition? Give me some options, man! How about some Cholula or something? I had to do a double-take on the bill. My omelette plus a glass of orange juice cost me nearly $20. For that much money, the omelette had better impress me. And it didn't. I very much appreciate the staff here. But the food leaves me wanting more. read more

Prices are a bit steep. I don't eat a lot of carbs so I got egg whites & turkey sausage everything else as a better side would have been a significant up charge. This meal was $9.99 despite no sides which could have been grits or hash browns and an English muffin....pretty darn expensive but it was good. BF has the Benedict he said it was great but again price tag was something like $15. 2 cups of coffee and a milk and the total bill about $40 yikes! I dined here for the first time on 4th of July for brunch with two girlfriends. The wait was pretty long..about 20 minutes, thankfully they have a comfortable waiting area. It has a very southern homey feel to it, which I enjoyed. It was a generous serving, definitely enough for three people . I was pleasantly surprised by how good they were, considering I haven't had a good beignet experience in Atlanta. They were well complimented with a honey marmalade dipping sauce. These are what will bring me back! For my entree I had the 'Black Bean Benedict' with a side of diced potatoes. The potatoes were too dry for my taste, and a little bland; I finished them up by drowning it in ketchup. A little gross maybe, but you gotta do what you gotta do. I enjoyed my eggs benedict, but again I found the black bean cakes to be dry - and spicy. A little too spicy for my taste buds to handle. First time in Atlanta and this was my last stop before my flight . IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT ! Anna , our server was so accommodating and observant . I really love Another Broken Egg, I tried them in Florida before they opened up shop here in Atlanta and I have always been a fan of their omelets. On this occasion just stopped in for some brunch with a friend. We got the free order of Beignets via the app Stealz. I ordered the lobster and brie omelet and a screwdriver. The food was Ok certainly not the same quality as the location in Florida. My omelet was under seasoned and it wasn't enough....the service was turtle slow....luckily I was enjoying my company because we waited over 40 mins for our food making the brunch an hour and half long. They need to really get on top of the kitchen crew and their pace. I know it's a made fresh breakfast but it's no excuse for breakfast to take that long. All in all I'd skip this location and go elsewhere. read more

JACK AND CHEDDAR GRITS Best grits I've ever had. So simple, so cheesy, so delicious. A must get every time I eat here. HEY LUCY Omelette with avocado, chorizo, Jack cheese, sour cream. Very good but very filling. Comes with English muffin which you can substitute out for a pancake if you want. And breakfast potatoes which you can substitute for the grits, which I HIGHLY recommend. The family went to brunch on Mother's Day at Another Broken Egg. We had heard about it from others and taken a look at the website, so we were excited to try it. Since it was Mother's Day at 1pm, there was quite a line inside and outside of the restaurant. They said it would be approximately 45 minutes to seat us, so we just hung out in the car for a while and then sat outside after about 30 minutes. I'm glad we went up because after a few minutes, a server came out with a plate of bengiets and they were DELICIOUS! Not much later, our buzzer went off and we were seated. It's a very nice looking place with modern decor and a friendly staff. My youngest son ordered a children's pancake & sausage meal (surprised it was sausage OR eggs, but whatever). My oldest son (who had better be successful when he gets older due to his expensive taste ordered the benedict oscar (steak and crab), the wife got a crab cake benedict, and I got the banana's foster french toast with sausage and eggs. For the most part, all of the food was really good; the only issue was the temperature. Nothing was hot. The French toast was borderline cold; the saving grace was the hot maple syrup that I poured on it. Everything else was just luke warm. The flavors were definitely there; I'm just assuming that because of the crowd, our food must have sat in the window for a while. I'm definitely going to go back (especially since they gave me a free meal due to the cold food), and I hope they've got the temp issue corrected. I'll update my review once I do. read more

Not bad for a new establishment and a chain. We were immediately seated at 915am on a Saturday and were presented with a lengthy menu. It took us longer than it should to make decisions about what we wanted to try - usually our server (at other establishments) would be helpful providing suggestions as to their favorites, what is most popular, what items would fit our current tastes/desires. Unfortunately, our server was a bit of a brick wall when it came to helpful direction. I'm not sure if it was his fault, as it seemed like maybe he had barely eaten anything off the menu. I opted for the Cinnamon Roll French Toast and a side order of a biscuit with gravy. Now, according to the menu, the CRFT comes layered with cream cheese icing, Banana's Foster sauce, mixed berries & whipped cream. Now all of that seemed super sweet to me, so I asked for all of the toppings to be brought on the side. What came to me was plain french toast, a dish of the mixed berries and a small plastic ramekin of butter and syrup. No cream cheese icing. No Banana's Foster sauce. No whipped cream. I had enough food, and didn't need the extra sweet, so I didn't put up a fight, or even bring it up. But poor form. Now the biscuit and gravy - awesome. The biscuit was toasted maybe? Fluffy on the inside, and the gravy was sausagey and the right level of salt. They need help and maybe the server just shouldn't be working there - we never got his name or anything. I Went On A Sunday afternoon we waited for over a hour. Once we were seated we waited for another 10 to 15 mins to get waited on. If a restaurant has amazing food I can't get upset about a long wait if no reservations are made on my behalf. On the other hand if the food is mediocre I could have turned around and went somewhere else. I had the Floridian omelet which was okay nothing to write home about, the city grits were surprisingly tasty. My highlight of the entire meal was the free beignets that they bagged up for me for being a first time customer. Overall, I was not impressed and probably will not be back anytime soon. read more
