This place is a must for brunch!!!! The wait was a little much but it was worth it. The hosts were a little unenthusiastic but they explained the process well and were as helpful as they could be. We decided to order a mimosa pitcher while waiting for a table for 2 (30-45) minute wait. We probably waited about 35 minutes. The bartender was super friendly and helpful! We ordered a pitcher of the black cherry mimosas! It wasn't a bad price and even though it wasn't bottomless I didn't need it. Black Cherry is on the sweeter end so if you like sweet drinks I recommend it. I'm definitely going to go back and try some of their other flavors. This menu included several items that I equally wanted to try all of them but I settled on the crab cakes and fries green tomatoes. This dish was amazing! My salad lacked dressing but once I requested the recommended dressing it was perfect! You get enough crab in your crab cakes and I loved the fact that the tomatoes were fried in cornmeal! I visited one Thursday afternoon with my boyfriend for brunch. Kim was our server and treated us like family. Her New Orleans accent was so charming and she was very knowledgeable as we asked questions about menu items. I ordered the lobster and city grits and honey ordered he supreme omelette with a Belgian waffle. The hot beignets app was unexpected but a hit for us. Restaurant was very clean and the bathrooms were spotless. Service was top of the line and food was hot and delicious. We will be back again and again for sure read more

Ordered vanilla cold brews topped with cream and when received tasted like old cream and was chunky. Told the waiter and he said that was normal and left. At another point told the waiter we think it was bad and he laughed and took the drinks off the check. Ordered the blt which comes with avocado and garlic aioli along with city grits. City grits came out without bacon and when i asked the waiter he said the bacon was missing and then did nothing . Avocados had browned and sandwich was dry without any aioli. Having arrived to Atlanta after an early flight, we were looking for a breakfast place near our hotel. We were given a recommendation by our Uber driver and thought we would try it out. We were a group of three. We were immediately taken in and seated. I ordered the City Grits with bacon, Gouda cheese, and tomatoes, and the seared scallop omelette and coffee. I love grits and these did not disappoint. These grits were AWESOME! They were smooth and the bacon and Gouda cheese added awesome flavor. The seared scallop omelette was flavorful and tasty. Another lucky find for us - we were going to World Market and saw this place - we've been to several "broken yolk" places and this one did not disappoint us! I had the Floridian Omelette and Gigi had the Southwest Omelette with bacon instead of chorizo- both were great! If we ever end up here again I want the biscuit beignets or the carrot "pan" cakes - both sounded wonderful- grits were good, potatoes were so good, although my English Muffin could have been toasted longer - Julius was great and covered our whole section AND was the bartender for the whole restaurant! read more

I visited on a Thursday morning just before 11 and was seated immediately. The staff were sweet and both the staff that seated me and my waiter (who appeared in less than a minute to get my drink order!!! ) pointed out the seasonal specials. They know their stuff - it should be a given but when it comes to things that really bring me down it's lack of employee knowledge about their job and products - so Another Broken Egg gets props from me here! Coming from a brunchie, it's tough to only give two stars to a breakfast spot. I don't know what it is about this location but my visits here are disappointing. On my most recent visit, I ordered the eggs Benedict with city grits instead of potatoes. Nothing else on the menu enticed me. My friend ordered the salmon Benedict. After a seemingly long time, our waitress appeared with benedicts in hand & said she didn't want our food to get cold. She explained the kitchen was still making the grits. Err? Ok. I wasn't asked if I wanted something else instead. I would've opted for fruit if given the option. We ate our benedicts...mine was fine but my friend's was SO overpoweringly salty and heavily laced with onions. It was like taking a bite of an onion doused in salt (was that an attempt to conceal non-fresh salmon or is it always so unbalanced?!). Yuck! I'd already finished my benedict (and I'm a slow eater!) by the time the grits were brought out. After all that time I expected them to knock my socks off but the city grits didn't thrill my tastebuds at all. They were more rural than city grits, lol! Where do they come up with these names? When the check came, it seemed like a no brainer they would comp the grits. It would've been a nice gesture, but they did not. Someone who seemed to be a manager came by (sans introduction) to return the check, but nary a word about the 30 minute delayed order. Oh well. Our server was polite. We were too & just paid & went on our way. This was a weekday with moderate activity. I could somewhat understand if they were slammed with a line out the door. I'd hate to see what this place is like on peak days! Something tells me a lot of people would be waiting a long time. read more

I went for Saturday brunch with my sister. I was super excited to join the waitlist via Yelp. Although seating did take about 30 minutes. We only had to wait about 15 minutes at the location with the waitlist being mobile. The restaurant was crowded the wait staff was friendly but not overly attentive. I wasn't excited about all the choices on the menu, as my diet doesn't permit me to eat much meat. I settled for the shrimp and grits with the chicken sausage. My sister had a crab and eggs Benedict. My food was not as tasty as I hoped it would be, nothing like Louisiana shrimp and grits. They also forgot my chicken sausage initially, as well as our pancakes that we ordered with our meal (it came well after we had our entree). If I'm ever in the neighborhood again, and I want to sit down to eat, I may try broken egg again. However I wasn't very impressed this time around. read more

I was celebrating a good prognosis after a doctor's appointment. The staff at the office recommended Another Broken Egg. I had never been to the restaurant before. My friend was with me, as she came to support me at the appointment. I planned to treat her to breakfast, so I wanted the experience to be fabulous. OMG. From the minute we walked through the front door we were treated like royalty by the staff. Our server, "Jay" was friendly, knowledgable and fun. I am gluten-free - and was super excited about their gluten-free options. We ordered breakfast with coffee and Bloody Mary's. My only regret is that I did not take a picture of the food! My friend ordered the scallops omelet and I ordered the Floridian omelet. It was an amazing meal. We also bought two coffee cups to commemorate the occasion. I *highly* recommend this restaurant chain. I am super excited to be close to their Vining's location and plan to go there soon. Thanks to everyone including the chef (who we met while we were at the restaurant) for making our experience this morning absolutely delightful. And, yes. FABulous! read more

After returning from a visit to New Orleans, I craved the shrimp and grits as well as the beignets. I was surprised to learn that Another Broken Egg had a restaurant near me and served these delectable items! While the beignets aren't the same as NOLA's, they were delicious! Don't even get me started on the many flavored mimosas and the best Bloody Mary I've ever had. I highly recommend ABE, however it is quite crowded on Sunday mornings and it is best to use Waitlist or an app like that so that you shorten your wait time. read more

I think she all but rolled her eyes at my friend two or three times and really didn't seem to want to be there. There's a staffing shortage around the world so we stayed positive and polite.
