    Seasonal menu July 2026

What a great choice for a Monday breakfast! They were not crowded at all when we arrived! Plenty of parking as there's a private lot!!! We were greeted and immediately seated and the hostess gave us the seasonal menu and standard ones!! That Peach Raspberry Palmer called me immediately. We also tried the spiked Iced Vanilla coffee. Titos! It was so good they ordered a 2nd....and probably because I was doing the driving It was very nicely decorated inside. Plenty of tables with single chairs and the bench style. Very open feeling. I imagine it feeling comfy when crowded. I made a hard choice between the cinnamon roll French toast and the Peach Cobbler French toast. Peach cobbler won and it was delicious. It comes with bacon or sausage and 2 eggs your way. Both were perfectly prepared. We also tried the Cajun Shrimp & Crawfish Omelette with the city loaded grits. The omlette was good but you definitely need to be a crawfish fan as that flavor dominated. Grits were amazing. Definitely get them loaded. They had an amazing house hot pepper sauce on the table. It surprisingly had a sweetness to it! Perfect on the breakfast we had but could also go well with some wings! We asked if it was for sale and it is, but they were awaiting their next shipment! I will be back for sauce

I visited the restaurant on their training day so food was complimentary with donation and my review is solely based on food and observations of the restaurant. For starters, a new brunch spot in our area is exactly what we needed! I can finally add another spot to my list of brunch spots as you know there are not that many around here. Secondly, the menu! The southern-inspired menu is different. I was surprised to see all these seafood based items on the menu, but as a seafood lover myself this was exciting to have in my breakfast. I ordered the cajun shrimp and crawfish omelette and my party ordered the cinnamon roll french toast, champagne lobster omelette, and veggie delite omelette. The food was very flavorful I was surprised at how much I liked my omelette. I also really like how the entrees come with potatoes/grits and english muffins. Truly a filling meal. Now in terms of looking at the prices of these actual entrees, I am not sure if this spot would be my #1 choice for brunch solely for that reason. Prices as mentioned from some of the reviews are a bit steep compared to other brunch spots, but food I still think was good.

A great addition to University Mall! The chocolate chip pancakes were tasty, fluffy and cooked nicely! I just wish it was studded with more chocolate chips. The bacon pieces were crispy, but the scrambled eggs were mediocre. I didn't like their biscuit beignets - they were quite hard and dry. The hash brown benedict was just ok - the hash browns were bitter. Surprisingly, the country potatoes were so crispy and delicious! Overall, we enjoyed our meal and the manager was nice. I'm excited to come back to try their other items!

I like brunch places and so I'm happy they opened up here. They took over the popular McDs, that formerly occupied the space. The food was OK, I like the southern options the menu has. I got the chicken and waffles, the fried chicken was just some strips and wasn't all that great, waffle was good. Kids got the dollar pancakes and scrambled eggs with bacon. $8 is not bad for kids meals but food was just OK. The beignets were good, I like the marmalade honey sauce with them. Overall it's nice to have more brunch places in Fairfax, I'll probably be back here to try other stuff. I just don't find this place really standing out in my option.

Came here Saturday for brunch .After waiting for 15 mins we were seated here.Ordered Lobster omelette , My daughter ordered salmon Benedict , my husband got Crab cake benedict .Coffee was good.Enjoyed our brunch. Wish my lobster omelette had a little more lobster and some umami flavors . It was pretty bland .

You will get an up-charge of $4.69 for asking for pancake instead of grits. The price difference on their Sides Menu is 50 cents. My fourth time here. Service is hit or miss (hence the 3 stars). Sarah was great today. The food is delicious.

Based on its high online ratings, we chose to try it; however, our experience was underwhelming and disappointing. The restaurant feels similar to other brunch spots, with a menu that resembles those of southern-inspired breakfast, brunch, and lunch spots. Overall, the prices seemed high and did not match the quality of food or service we received. The Barista House Blend coffee tasted plain and mediocre, and at $4.49, felt too steep. The vanilla cold brew was okay but not remarkable. Both the Benedict Burger and Bacon & Chorizo Omelet were average; they didn't appear freshly cooked and likely used store-bought ingredients, except for the eggs and tomatoes. The pancake also lacked a homemade feel. Service was disappointing. Our server was moody and didn't create a welcoming atmosphere, which affected our dining experience. She removed our dishes before we had even finished eating, as if other customers were waiting. She became noticeably friendlier only when we asked for the check. Based on this experience, we won't return and wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Decided on this little spot in Fairfax town center after having a quick weekend day trip to DC. Really pleasantly surprised with the whole atmosphere of the place. It's a true fusion of asian bites but still a legitimate dive bar. The space is small, patrons are merry, and the whole place is an absolute vibe. I ordered some pilsner and some other lager on tap from local breweeies. Delicious. Ordered popcorn chicken, pork belly, and some 'real food' - a quick rice bowl with chicken. The fried bites were wonderfully crispy. They have good oil management and felt quite light especially with a swig of a cold lager. The rice bowl was tasty too. Construction was indeed very Taiwanese, and yet... I still felt like I'm in a dive bar complete with all its grunge. So cool They sell 4/6 packs of craft brews here too. They've got stuff all the way up from some Vermont and Maine (true craft beer land IMO)

The staff was exceptional from start to finish - welcoming, attentive, genuinely friendly, and the kind of hospitality that makes you want to stay awhile. You can tell the team takes real pride in creating a warm atmosphere instead of just turning tables. The food, drinks, and overall energy were fantastic, but what really stood out was how authentic and comfortable the experience felt. Places like this are hard to find anywhere, let alone outside a major city. I've spent plenty of time in LA dining all over the place, and this spot genuinely hangs with the best neighborhood pubs and gastropubs out there. Looking forward to coming back next time I'm in the area. Special thanks to Joey, tanner and Harley! -phil
