This gem of a place is located in by Home Goods in Jax Beach with outside dining and ample parking. I had the GF pancakes with 2 over easy eggs and bacon. My only complaint is that the seats outside are low so you feel like the table is close to your face when you eat but the food was delicious and I will be back. read more

How can you mess up breakfast? Well, I ordered the crab omelette called The Floridian. It was cream of crab soup poured over cream cheese stuffed omelette. Blah - very rich and not the healthy choice I thought I was ordering. Husband had classic breakfast. Literally almost broke his tooth on rock hard English muffin. Kind server replaced it quickly with a better one. He got two slices of bacon, but left one. Who leaves bacon behind?!? So I tried it and it was awful. His bacon tasted like chemicals. I actually spit it out in my napkin. On the good side, they had staff! At least 5 servers for the small restaurant and ours was on the ball. Also good was the gluten free toast, which is saying something.... It was a disappointment, and I won't go back. read more

After being here for months, my fiancé finally got around to taking me here. He's talked about it so much that I really looked forward to coming here and I was not disappointed. We walked in and had a wait, which ended up being super short. The service was beyond amazing. Our server was energetic and extremely personable. I was torn between a few items on the menu and she helped me figure out which one to get. She sat down next to, which I loved because that made it a personal experience. She constantly checked in on us to make sure we ok and to see if we needed anything. I got an iced coffee with vanilla flavoring which was so good. My fiancé got a regular coffee and I had to fight him off for it. I got the broken egg biscuit sandwich which had a biscuit with a chicken tender on top and it was smothered in gravy. It comes with an egg, but I got mine on the side. I was so glad that my server suggested this dish - it was delicious. But for the best part....the banana foster pancake. Delicious, absolutely amazing, hands down perfect. I will 100% get this pancake again. Also, definitely make sure you add one of the pancakes as a side to try! The biscuits and gravy are to die for. So much flavor and the perfect amount of salt and pepper. Our other favorite is the shrimp and grits. It's seasoned with garlic and a kick of spice. They have two locations I think and this is the one closer to JAX beach. I was staying at the aloft hotel and there other location is across the street but the wait time was over an hour. My friends and I decided to drive to this one which was only 10-15 min away. We were instantly seated. We shared an order of beignets which was good but not quite as airy and fluffy as the ones from NOLA. Sorry!! I really enjoyed my crab cake Benedict. It was seasoned perfectly. My friend's protein bowl was humongous!!! After she ate it, she still has a full meal to bring home. Note: she got the chicken one and she said it was ice cold. Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. I'm a big breakfast foodie, and this place was one of the best in Jax. Their food is satisfying and flavorful. The restaurant offers so much, it's hard to pick what order. They have omelets, benedicts, waffles, speciality drinks, and even healthy foods. They make sure to satisfy every taste. I went during a weekday, so the service was fast, as there weren't many customers dining. I'm sure it's a bit slower on the weekends, and any other brunch place is. While I haven't ordered any, be sure to try their drinks. They seem delicious and instagram-worthy- especially their Nutella one. I've tried other locals, like Metro Diner and Deerwood Diner, and this restaurant's food is just as good, if not better. It's prices are reasonable, although just a bit more expensive than the others I've just mentions. But nevertheless, it's worth it. Try this place! read more

This is honestly 100% my favorite breakfast place in Jax . The customer service always exceeds any expectations! I've never had a bad experience coming here . The whole staff is insanely hospitable, polite and kind. I've had many different items on the menu including the chicken and waffles, huevos rancheros, shrimp and grits, city grits (my favorite) and the fried green tomatoes (also my favorite). Today I came in and felt so awful I realized I forgot my debit card at home! But we had an absolute angel of a server her name is Calli , and she was able to manually still input my card info with my ID and not once made me feel like I was causing her any hassle! I love this place. I use to frequent the location in Dallas when I lived there and it was great as well. Breakfast selection is good. I don't eat meat and I love that they have enough options for me to get a good meal and not get the same meal every time I go. At this location the staff have always been great. Came across this spot while on our drive up north from miami and so glad we stopped by here for brunch. Everything that came out was great. I really enjoyed biscuit and gravy which was so fluffy with the sausage that had the right amount of spice. I didn't enjoy the house coffee because it seemed a bit too diluted but the iced coffee that my bf got was pretty strong and almost tasted like Vietnamese iced coffee. We came here on a Monday around noon and there was a 30-40 mins wait so be prepared to wait and it's worth the wait. read more

Friendly staff with an always busy crowd on the weekends. I ordered the shrimp and grits. I have had them before and this time they seemed a bit different. There was a lot of grease and oil. I suspect from the shrimp that had been cooked in it. I had the lemon berry mimosa that was tasty. I'm only giving this place 3 stars on this visit because of the greasy shrimp and grits. Hubby and I stopped in Sunday for breakfast. We've been waiting for this location to finally open. We've visited the Tinseltown and Naples locations in the past and I was happy to have a shorter commute. Lol. However, the food at this location was not as good. There wasn't a wait so we were seated right away. The food came out quick which is good, but not when it comes out cold. I ordered the veggies omelette and the spinach they used tasted frozen and it was cold. I prefer fresh spinach in a veggie omelette. Perhaps the frozen spinach was the reason why it was cold. The home fries were mushy, had no flavor and were cold as well. My husband had the two egg breakfast and his meal was not hot either. It almost tasted like the food was pre cooked and reheated. I hope that's not the case. My other pet peeve is the up charge. I don't like when I make a slight change to my order and the waiter/waitress does not mention an extra charge. The prices are not cheap. We spent over $30 for a cold breakfast that was mediocre. Its a fairly new location and I'm hoping they improve upon their food and service. You know Hurricane Dorian decided to put everyone in panic mode here in Florida. We went by Jax Haus boy it was crowded and offered Brunch. I wasn't that hungry. No worries, I'll try them next time. So we decided on Another Broken Egg which only had a 10 minute wait. It was small and cozy inside. Loved the seating and decor. The waiter told us ABE's favorite dish is the Shrimp and grits. We took a minute to order. Eventhough the menu isn't big theres alot of good entrees, I would love to try. But of course, I can't order the entire menu. Ina ordered a mimosa, Peach cobbler pancakes with granola and eggs. She was kinda leary of the granola. Well I tasted her pancakes and they tasted like Cobbler for real and the granola was good. Overall the pancakes were the bomb very flavorful. One thing they can do is use simmered fresh and juicy peaches. I don't think the peaches were ripe enough or maybe not simmered down. However it was still very good. I ordered the Louisiana crawfish skillet. OMG Yall hold on to your pants or hats or whatever cause this dish will blow your mind. I thought my Mom was in their kitchen cooking for a minute there. This dish had soul. It was well seasoned and a lil spicy. I love that. The dish came out in no time and it was hot. The dish was served with an english muffin. They should've given me a biscuit instead. I don't like english muffins but it was ok. My dish had 3 types of peppers, crawfish, andouille sausage onions, potatoes and cheese. When I tell yall I didn't have add any salt or use ketchup. It was delicious. I can't wait to go back. I swear this is the spot. I ain't lying yall. Go see for yourselves. read more
